401  Economy / Services / Re: Need a programmer - want sha256 calculated very quickly on: February 22, 2016, 06:55:04 AM
Sha1 or Sha256?

Title says 256 but the OP says 1.

Anyway, is an offline html page that can be opened in the browser like so... what you want?

(Just added SHA-256 as a second button, not shown in screenshot)

0.06 BTC I'll post the source in a code box here for anyone to use, or PM if you prefer.

402  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XOtika.TV - Adult Cam Site Fully powered by Bitcoin is ONLINE ! on: February 22, 2016, 05:23:39 AM
the site is working fine on me, i used chrome for open this site it's working smoothly, i saw some people here get trouble when access this site, in my exprience i was using mozila then i get trouble actually the site wasn't working, just keep loading, then i change to chrome and it's really fast, make sure you has high speed connection to
anyway i heard that admin would be realese the mobile version, i think it's prety cool, i can't access this site via smartphone i used ucbrowser but unfortunately it didn't work, i dont get it, is that my connection ? or something else, but if on pc so far i'm not complaining

This is because ucbrowser mini or full doesn't supports java. There are hardly any browser supporting java. But so far there is one browser known as puffin browser which supports but I suggest to install the premium puffin browser(paid version). It supports java smoothly. If you want that paid version pm me and I will send it.It is only for android smartphone.

Xotika uses Java server side not client side, you don't need it.

Google Chrome on mobile to load the page and then MX Player or VLC can play the flash stream. The captcha, agegate, and chat are difficulty on mobile but the stream is good.
403  Economy / Services / Re: [Accepting Bids] Looking for a several users to mediate during Rein's alpha on: February 19, 2016, 09:18:04 AM
Huh, looks like I'm the only mediator. It wasn't really that hard to set up at all.

Code:
root@bdf33d694ffb:~/python-rein# rein post
0 - bitspill - Fee: 1.0% - Public key: 025a19c3aa027e9114a2f79b6e2f76d85c5b3fb59723ea9dba97e019f1f751d0eb
Choose a mediator (q to quit): ^CAborted!

To recover an account is it as easy as running setup again with the same address/keys or are there any other critical files saved locally to backup?

Is it possible to change the mediator fee after setup or is it locked in, for the time being?

Running `rein resolve/workerdispute/creatordispute` should exit after printing "None found" skipping the prompt to quit, in the way `rein accept/bid/deliver` already do.

Backspace doesn't seem to behave properly displaying `^H` instead, unless my terminal is acting up... If it's a known issue I'm not going to bother explaining, if it's questionable let me know and I'll detail it further.

If I create a job and saved the file locally is it possible to delete it and not sync it to the network?

I created a job, bid on it, but now `rein accept` doesn't show it. I'm the poster, bidder, and mediator, probably not ideal Tongue

Is it correct that I am both the only mediator and only job postings right now or am I not syncing properly?

Otherwise it looks like a cool project so far!

406  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XOtika.TV - Adult Cam Site Fully powered by Bitcoin is ONLINE ! on: February 18, 2016, 07:23:43 AM
The website isn't working properly on mobile devices. Safari, chrome and Puffn flash browser all have problems. Isn't future proof if mobile devices have more then. 50% of all Internet traffic.

Chrome mobile and MX-Player work on Android, it's a little clunky to use chat but if you want only video it works without a hitch.

If you had paid attention to all threads they made

How much female models You see Right Now online on the webcam chat site?

Right now I see 8 online.

Ok, maybe 6 since 2 of them aren't female.

Can I request that the 2nd post be a text based form of the OP without all the fancy images?

I don't have the best internet and frequently a number of images are missing making it hard to find the correct link to click.

yep, not a problem, ill get that going right now.

Much appreciated. It's not as pretty but it's more functional Wink

410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released on: February 16, 2016, 07:54:42 AM

The block reward started at 300k with the first block and is (300k-height, it drops by 1 coin every new block) until block 270,000 when it then levels off at 30k for eternity.

Here's an old spreadsheet of block rewards to a graph, it's a little slow in the browser though. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15-SZfDFbw1N3sXtlBVOwm015GYtM3aqdJbSsPZWmY0w/edit?usp=sharing

So according to that, in July 2020 there will be approximately 45 billion Sia in 'circulation'?  Just curious how much one would have to own to have a significant stake in the Sia network.  Thank you for the very informative spreadsheet.

The dates on that spreadsheet are already a little off (we are ~6k blocks behind the theoretical schedule) but yea, there is going to be a lot of coins. Current circulation is ~10.47 billion. http://explore.sia.tech/

Can someone show me a chart showing the issuance of Sia over time?  How many exist now and how many will exist after the initial issue?  And you appear to have a perpetual block reward?  That is smart.

So a motivated miner could conceivably mine for their own permanent storage on the network at any given time?

You've got my attention Sia, and that's not easy to do.  I'll be keeping an eye on you.  (Of course, Vanillacoin caught my eye at one point too so don't get too flattered - I'm secretly an idiot)

Is the block explorer down ?
http://107.189.32.1:2751/

Correct. I shut it down months ago when I moved hosting providers since there didn't seem to be any interest in this coin.

As a sort of confirmation towards the lack of interest it took this long for anyone to ask about its status.

I was using it regulary to check on the difficulty level! Cheesy

But right now it would be very useful to check what happened with the CASH that i've sent to my askcoin.net account.. Sad

I don't know if it's possible for you to bring it back online? or maybe send it to me and I would probably be able to host it somewhere! Cheesy

Thank you!

Can't have been checking too regularly since I cancelled the server August 14th 2015 when I got a new server and it was only recently that anyone spoke up about it Tongue

As far as sending you the files to host yourself it was a standard Abe install as from https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe (I don't recall offhand but it may have been a fork with scrypt support however)

my Blockchain seems to be stuck at 34820 - what can I do?

Unfortunately not much other than wait. It's a known issue and the network gateway system was overhauled for the next release which should make syncing a much smoother process.

and where are the Blockchain and the wallet files located on ubuntu?
Thanks!

They are within folders titled "consensus/consesus.db" and "wallet/wallet.json" respectively. The path to those folders depends on how you launched Sia, if you launch 'siad' they should be in the same folder, if you launched 'sia-ui' they should be under '/resources/app/Sia'

When you say export to 0.5.1 do you mean click the "Import Legacy Wallet" button from in the 0.5.1 UI?

It's not explained the most clearly so this has led to some confusion and I have not done this myself. rather I'm only stating it from memory after seeing it in Slack...

1) Firstly backup everything.
2) If you haven't already initialize a new wallet in the 0.5.1 UI, it will give you a password/seed
2.5) Backup the new wallet/password/seed
3) Click Import Legacy Wallet, from 0.5.1 and select the old wallet file
4) Enter the password from step 2
5) Close and re open the UI
6) Profit???
1. +
2. +
2.5. +
3. + - from 0.3.3.3
4. - The password is not requested, balance = 0
5. +
6. Balance = 0

So, I can forget about your coins?

There's plenty of people who have this working fine, you're doing something wrong and not putting much effort into these replies to fix it other than apparently trying to trash the coin. If you are serious about this join Slack where someone will walk you through it step by step.

Like in step 3, what do you mean "+ - from 0.3.3.3"? How does that help us help you?
416  Economy / Services / Re: $$$ Easy Clone & Modification Job Needed PHP / JAVASCRIPT I believe it is. $$$ on: February 14, 2016, 06:47:18 PM
That's a clone in the most literal sens of the word, it has all of the same credits, behaviors, and references back to the original site. Almost like you just saved the script and changed the file path then uploaded to your host.

Usually when someone is seeking a clone they want the same behavior but different enough to stand on its own. In this case I feel it's probably more likely for generating signature images rather than profile images so saying the image is too large to fit in FAs profile page is a little silly.

The luckycoin scapegoat is so unbelievably pathetic.

Compare:
https://github.com/alerj78/lucky7coin/blob/master/src/irc.cpp
https://github.com/OriginalBatCoin/BatCoin/blob/master/src/irc.cpp

This is how many early coins found their peers.

Not only did BigVern rip everyone off, he used such a pathetic excuse which he knew everyone who can't code would believe.
Its hype like this, from people repeating 'fings they herd' - that has ruined cryptocurrency.

^ what an idiot. clearly he didn't even actually compare them, because the lucky7 coin does have an irc backdoor, and the batcoin source does not.
dooglas summed it up pretty well in his "issue"

https://github.com/alerj78/lucky7coin/issues/1

maybe barrysty1e cant read.

In addition to Dooglus' explanation if a diff tool is used you can clearly see the new code that barrysty1e claims isn't there.

You're getting a little deep with the quotes there. You're reply didn't even appear at the end rather it is buried in the middle.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released on: February 13, 2016, 07:37:11 AM
A very long time did not launch Sia. Wallet 0.3.3.3
Now it is not synchronized. I tried to export to 0.5.1, but requires a password. When you first start 0.3.3.3 wallet password is not specified. Where can I take it to access your coins?

Same thing happened to me, lost 3m coins which i paid for in BTC.

Nobody adressing this ?
3.3.3 is obsolete now if I am not mistaken

3.3.3 is obsolete, but a private key is a private key. It just needs to be imported over.

Now if you had a 0.3.3.1 wallet, IIRC those are gone. Those were an early trial and was not the current chain.
