1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INFINITECOIN - UPDATE TO 1.8.8 visit INFINITECOIN.COM on: November 14, 2017, 09:46:21 PM
I am a long time holder of Infinitecoin, I was lucky to have escaped with a few IFC's from my Cryptsy account before Vern Goxxed me...

Have been keeping an eye on this thread for awhile and im willing to contribute a few $'s for this coin...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability | Hashcows - QRK Payouts on: July 13, 2014, 08:49:56 PM

Yes the trend with the core community is going against any major change to protocol, we don't need pump and dump actions by doing merge mining and involve other coins. This will divide quarkers even further. We need multisig implementation, social wallet, and work on improving the protocol not change it radical. These are being worked at this moment by Quark dev team.

Unfortunately there isn't much transparency going on during this process so many rumors spread within the community, thats why we are working on bringing quakers together in a new platform that will unite us and allow to see more public actions from everyone involved with Quark. All the past 10 pages mentions of new coin, companion coin, merge mining, have done alot of harm and confusion and it will stop once we have more transparency. Things are being worked on now and in 1-2 weeks time we'll know where we're heading.

I am giving hope to the true quarkers out there to not look at the price right now as its already down, but look at the prospect of Quark:
  • We are using the safest crypto protocol from the POW family, protected by automatic checkpoints not by hashrate. Sure, network power is important but quark security doesn't rely on it. Bitcoin and other coins can't say this, they are prone to attacks from industrial miners and have no protection against double spending attacks, except to go back into blockchain and commit a fork.
  • Quark has one of the fastest transaction confirmation time
  • Quark has $0 fees required to transmit transactions, unlike many other coins from top of the market
  • The above 2 points places us in the market for micro transactions and merchant adoption, if we stay united and survive in this rough times we will be here for a long ride because no other coin can claim the above, especially the security part. We do not need another coin to achieve security, our protocol already has the best security of all coins using automatic checkpoints. What we need is a transparent activity of Quark core community and an active participation of quarkers in discussions, we are working to release the platform for that soon.

Hey im a long time holder and supporter of the Quarkcoin, I ahh bought 100,000 odd the very next day after Cryptsy it up for trade and iv been holding most of them ever since...

I just wanted to come for a visit to see how the Quark community is going as its Quarks 1st birthday in a few days and wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUARKCOIN and WELL DONE DEVS!!!

WELL DONE... For not losing interest and keeping Qrk alive, Thanks for all the work you've put in over the last year and i hope theres many more to come....

STICK TO WHAT YOU THINK IS BEST FOR QRK DONT DO NO STUPID SHIT OTHERS ARE YOU PUSHING TO DO... Smiley Iv seen many of coin i invested in over the last 2.5 years iv been buying/trading coins simply die in the ass... For varies reasons, You only have to have a look around at all coins that had great potential once upon a time that are now dead or worthless, Go check out the ADT community for example... Literally go have a look at what a divided and arguing community has done to that coin.

I want to point something out... Look at the all time trading history of Qrk on Cryptsy, It traded for 3-4 months from July to mid November between 0.00000040 - 0.00000400 and never any higher in those months until every single coin got pumped to Mooon in November and Qrk went along for the ride with all the other coins, Since then every coin not just Qrk but every coin has come crashing back to Earth and many harder than others, I think compared to many coins Qrk is shaping up better than most have in that time its still trading at 5x what it was before it got pumped (Think of it that way)... Many of these new coins coming out WOW there are shitloads arnt there? I can see many of those coins dying off just as iv seen so many in my time, Most are just pump, dump get rich quick coins that dont have a solid footing in the crypto world... Me personally have much more faith in the oldschool coins that had innovation in the early days, They have stood the test of time they've been pumped, dumped, thrashed out but they still here doing well... Qrk will have good times again (After this financial crisis is over)... Block rewards halve next couple days so buy up while Qrkcoins are still cheap...

Anyways... Keep on keepin on guys, Im glad your still here putting the effort in to make sure Qrk is around for along time to come... HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUARKCOIN YOU ROCK Smiley[/list]
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New Website CryptoCoinStats.com on: July 10, 2014, 01:41:01 AM
your forecast is not correct .

nobody can forecast coins price

What, it's not 100% correct?

Of course it isn't, but linear regression isn't a bad start.  At least it gives an idea where the price will be if the historical trend stays about the same.

Somehow i dont think the man is psychic but is still doing a damn fine job with his site, You dont put money on everything you see posted on the internet right?

Your mad site cryptocoinstats.com is bookmarked and iv been visiting it regularly mainly to keep my eye on when the next block rewards are set to halve, They are the stats iv been looking everywhere for but not one other site iv found has that resource.

Its great for miners and traders alike but there isnt many showing the drop in payouts, I would like to see more coins have figures in that column if you could that it would be great.

A few of the old school coins would be good to put up i think EXTREMECOIN needs the exposure that it deserves as its only traded on BTER, Exc has passed the test of time and is a very rare coin so should make a great addition to your site.
Even other old school coins like MEGACOIN, GOLDCOIN ZETA, IFC'S their all solid coins that have and will be around for along time to come.

Anyways just wanted to say good work on your site.

I am having issue with not receiving withdrawal confirm emails, Support were not very helpful and want me to go to great lengths so i can withdraw my Bitcoin from my account when it is not my fault but its their servers causing the issue.
This is what i was requested to do.

Hi southaussie,

We have noticed issues with Yahoo, Hotmail and other email servers being faulty.

Please create a new email address, we recommend @gmail.com, as they offer advanced security features such as Two Factor Authentication via SMS and using their 2FA time-code generating application.

You will also need to provide us with the following account information for verification of the email change (all the questions are mandatory):

Username
Old email
New email
Alternative email
CEX.IO BTC wallet address
Account BTC balance (As accurate as possible)
Account GHS balance (As accurate as possible)
Account creation date
Latest trading transactions (As accurate as possible)
Location / IP
Secret answer
A photo of a government-issued identification. Examples include a Driver's License, Passport or National ID Card.
A photo of you holding a government-issued identification.

As soon as you provide all information, it will be sent to our security department then the email address will be changed.

Best Regards,
Leonard
CEX.IO Support

That is not right, Every other email comes through fine and without delay so why should i have to do all of this in order to change my email address so i can withdraw my Bitcoins?
Why should i have to have a separate email account just for a cex.io account? All of my Cryptocoin related accounts use my Live.com email addresses.
I kept replying no this is not my fault but its your fault it would be a great inconvenience for me to go through all that effort simply to get access to "MY" Bitcoins, They then asked me to contact my email provider support to find a solution.

They did find a solution as shown below with a link to the question and answer.
Please fix the issue with "YOUR" server cex.io as this is an ongoing issue and is not the fault of your customers, YOU are at fault here.
Why put your customers through that inconvenience when you simply need to contact the email providers that is affected and sort it out?
Does not make sense to me. Anyways.

"Since all their emails are blocked it is not related to your account but their servers. They may be being blocked for spam or something else. They need to resolve the issue by contacting Microsoft at postmaster@microsoft.com
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins-e SCAM ? Coins stuck as "Funds held for orders" more than a week on: June 07, 2014, 01:55:10 AM
They are scamming me out my hard earned coins too, They lock down a list of coins and place them in so called maintenance and freeze trading and withdrawals without notice a long time ago.
A bunch of my coins got locked that iv been unable to trade or withdraw since 2013.

I have sent many support tickets and eventually got offered a sum of BTC for compensation that they claim got put into my account, These must be invisible Bitcoins because i am unable to see a balance more than 0.000000.
Further support tickets are proving useless and is getting f@cking frustrating...

Like you i have had enough of COINS-E and im now looking to go on a forum bashing mission to inform others of there unwillingness to help customers with problems.

REMOVE ALL YOUR COINS FROM COINS-E AND STOP TRADING ON THIS SCAM SITE OR BECOME JUST ANOTHER CRYPTOCURRENCY SCAM VICTIM
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins-E made good on an old issue on: June 06, 2014, 05:33:52 PM
Good to hear someone has been made whole cos they have a list of coins tat suddenly without warning or a chance to remove any of them got frozen and put into maintenance, Its been that long i cant even remember how long but a whole heap of my coins got locked down in that list plus a mate of mine also had coins locked unable to trade or withdraw any of them.
I have sent support tickets for many months until finally i was offered 0.3 BTC so i accepted the offer and was told it had been placed into my coins-e account, Im not to sure whos account they supposedly put it into but my account never received such a deposit.
I have sent numourous emails since then that have all fallen on deaf ears and simply ignored...
Its not a large amount of bitcoins by any means but its the fact that this issue has been pending for sooo long now and they havnt made me whole like any good business would, They continue to make promises that they never follow through with.

Its getting quite annoying and frustrating so i will start posting over here in the bitcoin forum in the hope that i they give me a little more attention as i will advertise the unwillingness to deal with simple issues that was not my fault in any way.

Another Cryptocurrency scam victim

Please come good on your promise COINS-E and make me whole so i can move on.... BTW its the same user name as i am posting from here...

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Androids Tokens v2.0 [Proof of Stake] [very low inflation] on: May 18, 2014, 02:20:44 PM
I am a long time supporter of this coin ADT and hold roughly 1/4 Billion coins, Most of which i mined/purchased and have been holding since Sep 2013 --- 2013-09-08 13:31:47 Buy   0.00000118    LTC 5000000.00000000 =5.90000000.... was my first purchase many moons ago.
I guess i had high hopes for ADT and thought it was and would continue to be a great coin and a good longterm investment, I still do see ADT as having good potential for the future.

I have been keeping an eye on this thread the last couple weeks as the price for ADT has just crumbled in recent times and i wondered where this coin is heading, All i have been seeing is negative bickering like something you would expect from kids in a school playground with very little in the way of a positive future and support for this coin.

just let these guys fix it Mullick has played a ghost before and I expected nothing more from him this time.

We are relying on a guy who works on his spare time.  He works for cryptsy, he has no spare time...

TX42, this is your time to shine.

-tb-

I agree with the post above, You are holding ADT at ransom relying on someone who obviously doesnt have the time to complete the necessary work in an reasonable time frame.
I personally didnt see any issues with accepting some help with a fix as long as it was in the best interest for the future of ADT, At least it would have been some positive steps to get things moving again quickly and not continue to stay dormant for however long it will take for the other guy to get his act together, While support and interest in this coin continues to fade away.
Thats just my personal opinion as i would like to see ADT taking positive step to be this great longterm investment i once thought it was.

I am all for ADT making the change to PoS, I think it will be a positive move for the coins future and give me a good reason to take my balance out of Cryptsy and keep my ADT wallet running to get the interest that will be generated... Please keep the interest % at a reasonable level or if its possible have a halving interest rate like the mining reward was.

Anyways... Please get ADT atleast moving again real soon.
