I appreciate you spending time to break it down.

Its starting to come together but I am just super paranoid about losing money Smiley

Does LTC suffer from change wallets like BTC? I will be using Armory since the change wallet issue isnt there since it keeps everything you need in the .wallet file.

etotheipi, thank for your hard work on armory! I will for sure use that.

Im sure there is enough people who would want Armory to integrate LTC into the mix and would be willing to pay for it! I know I would.

Please keep that in mind if you ever decide you have some free time.

Thanks

so as long as you have a paper wallet or a backup of the .wallet you should be fine on armory?

Solution for LTC?

I was going to use the method of offline armory and a computer with online armory. I shouldnt have the problem with change addresses?

What is the solution for storing LTC?

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LTC Wallet Help on: April 09, 2013, 03:45:08 PM
Trying to get my wallets setup offline for storage and am having issues.

Using armory for BTC and this is really simple to do.

The issue is LTC. The only client I can find is litecoin qt

Is there a way to make a papercopy of the litecoin qt .dat?

How do you import LTC keys into the litecoin qt client?

Thank you

Is there anyway to get my remaining balance of BTC and NMC sent to my addresses? They are below the send threshold.

Reading a ton of different ways for cold storage.

What is the most secure/easiest way to cold store BTC and also LTC.

Do you really need to keep the wallet.dat file or just the Private and Public keys?

Thanks

Are you talking about dummy plugs or shorting the pins on the mobo?

First rig went super smooth.
Used my gaming machine which had the z77-ud5h board and got 3 cards working in the x16 slot and 1 in the x1 slot.

Second rig with buddy is having issues.
Its a p67a-C43 and we can only use 2 of 3 x1 slots along with the x16 slot.

So we need another mobo to work.

What is the cheapest solution for a 4 card mobo? Willing to use risers but do not want to run into same issue we had with the p67.

Thanks

It looks like MtGox gives alot more per BTC than BTC -e . Is there any reason one would sell to BTC-e over GOX?
