1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain Foundation buyback address hacked on: December 14, 2019, 04:11:03 PM
Quote
December 13, 8:27pm (UTC+8), the VeChain Foundation buyback address was compromised. Approximately 1.1 billion VET tokens in this address were transferred into 0xD802A148f38aBa4759879c33E8d04deb00cFB92b, the hacker’s address. All the addresses associated with the said hacker’s address have been tagged on VeChainStats, the list is automatically updated as soon as the hacker sends any funds from the original hacker’s address.

So another hacked was experienced by crypto project. I don't know what much it in dollars but I will assumed its huge amount again. It's sad to hear this kind of hackings in crypto sphere, but then again those criminals are always one step of the game.

I don't think this is professional. It's more like the mistakes of a simple project. Vechain would have to be more careful about it, and they can't compensate for the damage. Unfortunately, the biggest problems that investors often face are due to the unprofessional behavior of the teams.
Mismanagement? Seriouss?
Now, if it's really like that, there's a high chance that this is just a team game to make bad news about this case, because that way they will easily fool all investors into doing nothing, so the Vechain team won't be able to provide compensation loss for all investors who have participated in it.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: December 14, 2019, 03:41:39 PM
I think all of us are from beginners or newbies, and of course we have gotten Bitcoin from Faucet. I personally am currently only looking for Bitcoin/Crypto by following the signature Campaign on this forum. Then the results I get are used for trading. There is no way to get Bitcoin without working, everything has to work.
Yes, I totally agree with you, of course everyone first starts from a beginner to find out how to get Bitcoin, no one can get Bitcoin without knowing how it works and produce Bitcoin, because all of that requires a very long process to be able to work in the world of cryptocurrency and get bitcoin. Maybe one of them is participating in the project and joining a signature campaign or writing articles on the project.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 13, 2019, 04:22:06 PM
Most of the thinking of developers and project teams think like that, and delay payments or payments by installments little by little, so there are no dumper with their tokens, in my opinion if they are like that they will be abandoned by their loyal community who have helped promote their projects to be successful and develop well in the future. Not only that, I think if their tokens are very high quality and very good in exchange why should they be afraid of dumper.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 13, 2019, 03:55:42 PM
Many say here that Bitcoin can indeed be tracked for transactions, but it's better if there is a more sophisticated system to find people who commit fraud or take our Bitcoin secretly, for example, their data can be seen or their faces recorded with sensors that are has been prepared with a tool that has been designed. That's just my imagination. Grin
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Experience of A Bitcoin User on: December 12, 2019, 04:12:37 PM
This is not really a new scam but not many users are aware of it. On Reddit, it was discussed extensively, please be enlightened  and secure your BTC. https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/hackers-are-using-clipper-malware-to-steal-bitcoin-from-users/
i agree many people are not really aware of it and its already exist for a long time
that's why you always need to check the address you paste when doing a payment
I think that's not the only thing to watch out for, because there are many other factors we need to know about this case, the possibility is we open the wallet address anywhere, like using someone else's cellphone, and using someone else's wifi, things like this don't may be done because of the impact you will lose your Bitcoin or Altcoin and you also need to know, you may not download or open a site that you do not know about. so you have to be careful when you do something.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Crypto to Buy in 2020 ? 6 Best Cheap & Promising Crypto to Invest on: December 12, 2019, 03:48:57 PM
I think many people will buy some Bitcoin in 2020, but it must be remembered that besides Bitcoin there are also lots of interesting and convincing coins to buy, such as Ethereum Eos and others, because I believe that by binding to Bitcoin in 2020 surely all coins in trading will looks good for the price. So for that prepare from now on if you want to buy coins that you think are good to buy before it's too late.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 12, 2019, 03:33:25 PM
I hope the arrival of 2020 will bring good news compared to last year about the price of all Altcoin and also Bitcoin, not only that, hopefully for those who will make the project better and there will be no more fraudsters in the project so investors believe that the invested project will be a good profit in the future.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 11, 2019, 05:31:51 PM
It would not help newbies in my opinion. There are thousands of thread with the same massage, but I did not mention less people taking part in crap bounties or yelling that an ICO is a scam and he invested 5k into this garbage, it is not going to end.
I think you are wrong for that, because in my opinion beginners aren't that stupid now, because I'm sure they probably already know a lot of junk projects and con artists in forums today, and of course they will definitely be more careful of the fraudsters who make project.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold backed coins are real?? on: December 11, 2019, 05:11:58 PM
For the PGpay project, I see that their website is very convincing, but I don't know in the future whether they are really serious about running the project, so for that you have to be careful in choosing projects, but if you want to invest, it's better to choose which is already on the market just to avoid the risk of big loss for you.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just SOLD my girlfriends car to buy more ETH at sale price :) on: October 05, 2019, 09:05:56 AM
In my opinion, this is a very crazy and ridiculous idea because it is very risky if you sell a car just to buy more ETH, if you don't understand speculation about a good ETH selling price, I think this is a big problem because you will get a loss for this, but if you understand price speculation, this is the right way for you, compared to borrowing from a bank just to buy more ETH I think you are more than crazy and silly. Cheesy
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SC good to invest ? on: October 05, 2019, 08:50:17 AM
I don't have a bad or good opinion about SC, because I see that for 2019 all Altcoin prices will no longer improve, but I am still optimistic that all Altcoin will look good in 2020, so for the time being it's better to follow your heart alone, with Altcoin you already have now.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume on: October 05, 2019, 08:23:07 AM
I think this is very good news for everyone, because the news provided with CoinGecko is very petrified to eradicate fake volumes in trading, and I also always see in exchange a lot of high volumes but they don't correspond to reality for trading. So for that all traders are not only fooled by the volume that looks high.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember the story of Bitcoin on: October 05, 2019, 08:08:45 AM
I saw with the first option, Bitcoin was made in 2009 with a group of unknown people and they were nicknamed Satoshi Nakamoto. Maybe other article makers only take a few conclusions from the story and they just want to compete to make this article, that all stories are almost the same from various articles on Google search.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: October 04, 2019, 01:46:53 PM
Personally, I think bounty hunters don't have much influence on the price of coins. But investors who have a large volume of these coins may well influence its price and reduce the rate specifically to then buy at a lower price.
Yes, I totally agree with you, all of this has no effect on the bounty hunters, because they only get a small portion of the ration they have set, so the point is I think that there is a chance that their team gets a greater share of their own token distribution than with bounty hunters.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019: Which coin is the most profitable? on: October 04, 2019, 01:35:19 PM
I think this is the choice to do it, because everyone evaluates it in their own way, so for that you have to make your own choices for this, but in my opinion all Altcoin in trading is very profitable to buy, it's just how you see a good time to take the advantages of Altcoin that you have purchased.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find scam coins on: October 04, 2019, 12:11:52 PM
In order to find scam projects you need to know how good projects are. Each of the projects is different and I can not list the standard ways to find them. But if you get enough experience with a nonscam project, you will not have any trouble finding scammers. Also always read the project's whitepaper carefully, search the team thoroughly, and look for the scam accusation section here.
I never thought the way you gave it could succeed in finding out about the scammers project, because in my opinion for now the scammers project can even fake the team and the road map they made, because the fraudsters have been very good at designing everything. So to find a project that is fraudulent or not is very difficult to ascertain.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: October 04, 2019, 11:42:15 AM
I think this is all still possible, because the developer might wake up from his long sleep to make a price increase in their coins, because I see a lot of things like this happening at that time, maybe you need to look for it from all Altcoin to determine whether it really happened.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: October 03, 2019, 12:00:39 PM
The reason is the developer themselves. They are too afraid to spend any money on the exchange site and don’t want to spend money from their pockets. More often then not the coins or tokens are worthless if you think of, the developers are trying to collect as much fund as they can so they charge more.
The reason you give is very appropriate, because almost all project developers are very afraid of spending their personal money when they want to create a token listing in the market, so they use the time to collect as much funds as they can, even though such things are very logical, but they themselves do not dare take that risk.
I think this is just an excuse for developers to make it a problem in choosing an exchange, because in my opinion if the project they are running is very good and the quality is very high they don't need to be afraid of having a dump or draining their personal money to register their coins in exchange, because by registering it for a good exchange, I am sure their coins will not be bad in the exchange, so investors believe that the coins they develop are very good and very high for the exchange price, so for the price of the coin itself there will not be a very large risk of dumping in the exchange.
