2821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction coming in the coming weeks? on: June 06, 2019, 11:05:28 PM
The situation is very uncertain, we can't say what would happen in future. Either it may go up and cross 10k, or it may go down to 7k again. The best way is to hold and observe the situation.
Possibly we will see stable 7k-8k in next week and then fall or rise but I hope it will be rise because we recovered from 3K fall, then was rise and rise up to 8K. Now as always, I think there will be stable price for a while and then upcoming rise. At least this scenario was shown very often and why will this one be different? Well, when we talk about bitcoin, we can't really say anything exactly but to my mind this scenario will happen what I wrote. Who wants price fall? no one, miners benefited with current rise too and can't see any reason for bitcoin to fall but whales, they suck.
2822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to be a "Faketoshi", better than any other "Faketoshi" !?! on: June 06, 2019, 10:35:46 PM
At first thank you OP for providing that tutorial.
Then: It's very childy when people claim that they are real satoshi or they know who satoshi is and will tell it public if he won't reveal himself. It's another task whether sathoshi is a person or group, I think soon people will call it A.I. lol
At first, there is a reason why satoshi disappeared but there is no reason why he will appear. This people act in a child way and claim they are satoshi, it's very funny when you have to claim that you are that person. None of them had told why they decided to reveal themselves.
In overall, anyone who tries to prove himself satoshi with different methods, is just annoying kid.
2823  Economy / Gambling / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] Dice Duels! Play against other players! - BTCDice.games on: June 06, 2019, 09:46:34 PM
I am currently coding a dicing website where you are able to play against other players.

This is the idea:

You post your desired bet
A player calls your bet
The site will roll 2x 6-sided dice
The player with the highest roll out of 12 wins the money

Now you don't have to play against the house, you can play against your friends, or even a complete stranger!

It is about 4-7 days away from the beta release

edit:Forgot pics!!

https://imgur.com/a/VPan9de
Like the idea, will be interesting to know, finally who will be luckier, person who bets or person who accepts bets. Do you plan to accept mydicebot to add your dice in their list? Not only playing dice with their bot but also virtually testing it (virtual better and virtual bet accept).
Well, idea is good but as I see your template from images, it needs absolutely brand new desing, current one looks very simple and in bad colours too. Btw wish you success, just release your beta version with good template to make it even more attractive.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any casinos that have a 0% house edge? on: June 06, 2019, 09:30:34 PM
I doubt it, gambling sites owners are businessmen, meaning they are after profits and it is very impossible for them to set-up 0% house edge, I believe they set it up as high as possible to ensure profits. I heard some may have promotions but not to the point where they offer 0% house edge.

Actually, there's one site offering 0% house edge but up until now, they are in beta.

https://socialbet.io/

You can see at the lower right portion of their homepage.

Their thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5119108.0

Last post was in April, so don't know the progress update of their developments.
Curious if they can really attract gamblers with this feature once they are up and running.
Don't you see a donation button near to 0% house edge text? This is casino which offers 0% house edge but donations at the same time if you enjoy their 0% house edge experience. Have heard donations are welcome for projects that do good job for free, for online newspapers, for children and poverty but haven't ever seen donations for casinos. Who will donate casino and why? I have no idea. 0% house edge won't attract customers but will destroy casino which offers that.
2825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 06, 2019, 09:05:44 PM
To be fair transaction's speed/fees aren't that much issue for me because where I live, it's cheap in overall but banking system is absolutely suited on making people poor by how much percentages in overall they have on different services, how high % they have on loans in some countries, how they block your account in seconds for some reasons and etc. Bitcoin is great because you own and manage your wallet, no one can control your movements and you feel secure where your money is in your hands and not in banks' hands. Another great bonus is cheap fees and high speed of transaction confirmation + a lot of services have integrated instant deposit which makes bitcoin more unique and affordable compared to any banking service. In overall this coin is great creation and deal to get rid of banks.
2826  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If you love Bee and wish help ecosystem join us Beekeeping Plaftorm on: June 06, 2019, 08:35:50 PM
Sorry but didn't understand exactly how you connect bees to blockchain. It's understandable what's the point of your project but I really hugely doubt it will have any success. It just makes everything very difficult and I highly doubt any honey producer will be interested with it.
Better to prioritize such projects on for example Gold or land title registry and similar ones where blockchain can really play important role and in where people are acknowledge in such segments.
2827  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: June 06, 2019, 07:52:10 PM
I thinnk price will increase because as we see, FED and etc, a lot of country wants to print much money. Some say it will cause inflation but if that happens, it automatically leads to an increased price of bitcoin. Even if people see their fiat losts it's value, more likely they'll move on bitcoin with hope that it will bring them profit. Such positive look will automatically lead to an increase in bitcoin's price but will we get massive inflation after all? I don't have answer on it. USA prints a lot of money, everyone says usd will die but as we see it doesn't happen, even usd has risen in some countries.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instead of Gambling Invest in the BANKROLL on: June 05, 2019, 11:16:07 PM
I know people in this subection are probably going to be against this sort of rhetoric, though I know that most people here are avid gamblers. Which is fine, though there is a problem that arises when you gamble all the time -- you're not going to be making any money, and all you're doing is losing.

Wouldn't you much rather invest in the bankroll of a gambling website, so you'd be able to make some money off of people like you?

I do understand that there is risk in giving other people access to your BTC (or whatever coin you choose) though that same risk is present when you gamble and put coins on the platform.

There is a limited number of casinos which offer investments in their bankroll and there is a reason: You can't prove that you are fair with investors because when you are owner, you know server seeds and can register and win as much as you wish which will automatically leads to loss for investors. I don't say some casinos do it but still this is the reason of why there is a limited number of investments welcome casinos.
Btw on another hand it's not much profitable to invest in casinos because they take additional fee from investors too in order to cover server/suppory and etc fees.
Possible but wont really be that frequent because gambling site owners will foreseen their business on long term aspect rather than on going or cheating on short time. They know that once
they do hit up the popularity then profitability would be next.It isnt bad to seek out for investors but you would really need some credibility before you would able to attain it.
Investing on gambling sites bankroll does really give small profits.
I don't claim on any website that they do this, no but I know this was stated as a major reason of by some casinos why don't they accept investment in bankroll. On another hand that may happen because casino owner can collect great profit. Imagine you are in 100%, then 90%, then 110, then 85, then 105. During this movements if casino cheated, they did huge profit.
On another hand investment in gambling websites bankroll isn't that great profit, it was usually compared to cloud mining.
2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? on: June 05, 2019, 10:33:27 PM
I have one question to OP and almost all of you: Did you recognize a good time to sell coins after reading posts here or are all of you "experts" in this category?
You can't learn how to "recognize" becausr you have to "recognize", not to learn "how to..."
Trie at one time, then second, then third... During this you'll understand something, trading is better to learn from own personal experience because it's your mind that tells you when to buy or sell coin.
2830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fake money? Think again! on: June 05, 2019, 10:05:54 PM
Last weekend I spend some time with some of my relatives and one of them were playing a online game called, Forge of Empires. This is a browser-based strategy game with more than 10 million registered users  Shocked

The main goal of the game is to expand and develop a city beginning from the Stone Age and ending in the Virtual Future. (They even have Crypto currencies as a tradable commodity within the game)  Grin <Well, not actual Crypto currencies, just a in-game commodity>

So after watching my nephew playing for 1 hour and talking to him, he revealed to me that he spend over $1000 on buying virtual diamonds in the game. <in 6 months>  Roll Eyes

We started talking about real Crypto currencies and he immediately started the argument that Crypto currencies are "fake" money and that it was not real money or even a commodity. My counter argument floored him, because I asked him if the diamonds that he bought in the game was real or if the items that he bought in the game was real.?

His whole perspective on Crypto currencies changed, when he realized that digital items can have a value and that the virtual items that he bought within the game had less value than the bitcoins that can be bought and sold.  Wink

He asked me to help him buy some bitcoins and he was very happy after a week, when he saw his investment in the supposed "fake" money, going up in value when the price increased.

Should we confront more people with the argument that most of the digital items that are bought online, might have less value than Crypto currencies.  Wink

Ps. I emailed the developers of the game <InnoGames> and asked them if they might consider accepting Bitcoin as a payment option, but they gave the generic answer that they are open to new payment options, but they cannot give a timeframe for when this might happen. <I think more people should ask them>  Tongue
Sorry for late reply but your scenario seems very curious for me. It's 100% different thing whenbyou pay money in games to buy diamond and develop your character or empire or anything. It's addictive at some point because you are so turned in game that you pay money to develop faster and better.
But what it had to do with bitcoin? It's curious how you changed his mind but in overall you did and changed in a good way. Still don't understand why people can't believe that something online is real, must it has to be named usd? Our bitcoin is 100% better than your usd, if you don't believe, no problem but at least understand things and then talk.
2831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How important is the right .com Crypto domain name to you for your project? on: June 05, 2019, 09:27:17 PM
Hey Bitcointalk'ers

I'm curious to know how important the right '.com' Crypto domain name is to all of you starting projects within this space? I've known clients who have forked between xx,xxx - xxx,xxx on the right domain and i wanted to know how much you would be willing to spend to get that brand you want for your business?

Most of the crypto startups use .io domains,so I would say that .com domains aren't important at all.
If you are asking about the brand-well,it's important but the idea behind the project and the dev team are more important.
Yeah, there are a lot of examples: Cex.io Purse.io and etc.
Blockchain.info <-- info domain which isn't good but this website is so popular but at the same time they have moved on .com domain
OP you would get best answers on such questions from guys who actively work in seo.
Right .com domain helps you to get better brand acknowledge from people, better positions in search engine and a lot of benefits. Remember .com domain is top one.
2832  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: June 05, 2019, 09:02:15 PM
But I can't use my gold to buy pc-parts on my eshop.
Great answer to OP's question. Bitcoin isn't currency alone, it's an unique payment method. What kind of payment method gold is? Give thing hand in hand. But what is bitcoin? P2P online transaction which is included in blockchain, protects your privacy and you fully own it, no one can steal it without knowing keys while someone can steal your golds even from your hands and pocket. Years doesn't matter, we were different 1000 years ago, now we are far developed from that era and can say the same on bitcoin, it's far developed payment method and currency compared to gold.
2833  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 05, 2019, 08:32:43 PM
Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

what are your thoughts on this?
When anyone asks you for KYC in exchange of money, sorry but to my mind, if you accept it, this means you cost that much. I have no idea why some people just send their identification documents to any ICO, Casino, Exchange and etc even without checking whether website is trustworthy or scam. Problem is love of easy money, this is where from everything begins and ends.
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus or No Bonus? That is the Question... on: June 05, 2019, 05:55:58 PM
Would love to directly answer to question that was asked on title: Reward. Yeah, prefer reward over bonuses which require a lot of wagering. For example let's takr cashback, this is a great option when playing. You know your chanses are low to zero to claim bonus % but can get guaranteed money back and stop when you wish.
Also wagering contests are great too but only agree with bonuses if there is wagering contests and bonus wagering requirement together.
2835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Little dip in bitcoin market, will it be recovered reach 10k on: June 04, 2019, 10:21:18 PM
Ups and down in bitcoin price is just normal because of the market demand. But we don't need to be worried that it will drop down again. No body knows when it will rise too much and reach $10k but i think it will happen soon...we just need to waiy more time. For now let's be happy that bitcoin market started to recover from a long period of dump.
Thats true, because bitcoin is volatile so do not surprised on its price if this is happening, accept or understand what makes happen. Think positive if you see that the price decreases. We have no idea if when did it increase again. But always believe and patiently waiting that it will recover soon. But we are still thankful that the price is already recover after a long months we experienced.
Noilee
His case (positive look through price decrease) is absolutely diffetent case to my mind. Current fall wasn't normal fall, it was 1000$ decrease in a moment when everything was going positively and even in one hour price fall was more than 300 usd.
It will recover in anyway, it had to recover, otherwise it's impossible but I think there is a game from big guys to earn a lot of money too.
2836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining low difficulty coins on: June 04, 2019, 09:32:20 PM
I just ordered a cuple GPUs to get back into mining and wanted to do speculative altcoin mining, is there a resource that would list me new or current supported low difficulty altcoins? i tried with coinwarz but not having much luck..

i need

- coin that is currently minable
- coin that is listed on known exchanges
- coin that has very low difficulty

i dont care what its worth im willing to take a risk by mining lots of it

thanks for info
Why don't you care? That's not a right step because for example you can mine on nicehash and earn more rather than mine low difficulty coins and earn small. To make clear everything, I mean following: Mine most profitable coin and then buy that low difficulty coin, this way you'll be in much profit and you'll collect more low difficulty coins rather than by mining them.
2837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins and how they affect market in a longterm? on: June 04, 2019, 08:31:02 PM
I'm trying to figure what's the effect of all lost coins in a longterm

I understand all lost BTC are in blockchain, they are not "lost", but people probably forgot them or lost the private keys to access
People only says it's good because of the scarcity, our "active" BTC will value more

But all energy and efforts to generate these BTC are for nothing to?
Is there any word of the devs about this?
Do you think someday devs will discuss about?
At first there was little energy/affort for generating bitcoin, all of these changed after long term so I think yeah, lost bitcoins will give more value to active ones.
Despite the fact that they are in Blockchain, they are lost like a lot of people who are in our memory but are gone. So this lost numbers of bitcoins still can affect pricr at some point but in overall, they are lost, aren't part of active coins and price fully comes on active ones.
2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Vote] Next coin to be added to Stake.com & Primedice on: June 04, 2019, 08:03:05 PM
Right now Stake/PD like most crypto casinos accept BTC,ETH,LTC,DOGE,BCH. While you can exchange any coin you want using a built in third-party tool, we want to consider adding native support for more coins.

This should be helpful for our site and others to see what other coins are hot in this scene. Something we've noticed is there isn't necessarily a direct correlation between market cap and usage of coins. If you don't see your coin listed, feel free to post below and I'll tally it.

Thank you!
Totally agree, there is no direct correlation between market cap and usage coins because for example we had huge demand on burstcoin while this coin doesn't seem popular according to coinmarketcap.
I voted for USDT and binance coin. To my mind adding of these two will be great because when btc price rises/falls, it usually affects of how much bankroll do gamblers consider while gambling and I choose binance coin because binance is popular exchange service and it will be more affordable to consider it too.
2839  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: June 04, 2019, 07:10:40 PM
Title made me to think something:
1. What is the real value of coin which promises anonimity, protecting of privacy and fast/cheap transactions and overall control on your own wallet.
2. What's the real value of coin which become victim of commercial guys and a lot of regulations?
First one has huge value and second one - none but bitcoin is in the middle. It doesn't answer to your question directly but here is some truth and answer.
2840  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoins Cash-in-person trades removed? on: June 04, 2019, 06:23:36 PM
wow, it's the end of an era. localbitcoins p2p cash trades were the bomb a few years ago. i can't say specifically what is triggering this, but it seems like localbitcoins is just getting increasingly rigid with the AML/KYC stuff.

p2p cash trades were a way to avoid the escrow system and therefore KYC so i'm not surprised they've been removed. sucks though. Undecided

My current analysis of the legality is that it is highly illegal to sell bitcoins as a business in the US, and anyone attempting to do so should be very cautious.

not true. you need to register as an MSB and carefully comply with AML/KYC and currency reporting regulations though.
Not the end because you know, there will be always different and difficult ways because there is demand and supply, this both works in synergy against difficulties which are set baffle them.
Btw if anyone knows, were there reports of some crime/murders and robbing when trading bitcoin cash-in-person? Will be interesting to know if this was the reason of removing this option.
