881  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Manipulation in Binance Futures Trading on: July 26, 2021, 08:44:10 PM
Probably someone or a group of whales made huge long (buy) orders, wiping off the sell orders in the order book to up to 48K. I don't think it's manipulation.
A group of whales made long orders? Do you really think so? Then they should be in loss right now because price is 10K lower. This is pure manipulation from the Binance and it's sad that no one is responsible for this crime/rob.

Okay, see this too. I hugely doubt any group of whales would buy 1 GBP for 1.80 USDT, there was a 36% change that day and consider that you can trade here with 5x leverage, so, in any way, those who used 4x or 5x leverage of their capital, would get liquidated.

882  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: July 25, 2021, 06:43:18 PM
The only benefit I see from covid is that if forced world economy to restart. Weak, useless, ineffective business and services has died, while those who wanted, evolved and survived. Those who wanted, managed to adapt their work to current realities. The bad thing about all this - humankind paid a really high price for all that.
Weak, useless and ineffective businesses always die and Covid has nothing to do with it, this process happens simply because of demand and supply correlation. The problem here is that Covid caused to shut down businesses because people weren't able to use their service.
Let's take GYMs for example, a lot of GYMs were closed because of the Covid pandemic and that happened because the government forced them to stop work for six months and then secondly for three months pretty quickly.

When the government forces you to stop your business activity for a long time and doesn't subsidise anything, then it's not really your fault or weakness to finally close.

What covid did is that it pushed the world to become more digital and personally I think it's not good. Everyday zoom calls, less social activities, staying at home all day, this is very boring and unhealthy, nothing to talk about the other side effects.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 25, 2021, 06:11:04 PM
In crypto, there is another "House" and that's an exchange when it comes to futures trading. In overall, when it comes to margin trading, the exchange and the liquidity providers are the houses because it doesn't matter what's going on around you, there is no way for them to lose. Even when you lose, they profit because they liquidate your funds once you reach some limits.

And when it comes to just crypto trading, I think that houses are the wholes and the ones who have a huge influence over the traders, like Elon Musk for example.

The house edge of the game and the trading market is very different. In gambling, you play against the house that always wins but in trading, you have to follow the "house" in order to win and achieve success.
884  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do you believe on signals? on: July 24, 2021, 09:08:42 AM
First of all, remember rule number one!
No one will do anything in your favor. If someone is announcing the signals, that's because it's more beneficial for them than for you and they can even use you in their manipulative trading, make money from you and at max, apologize at the end of the day for your losses or incorrect signals.

Btw you should follow the news from Twitter because this is one of the fastest ways where crypto-related news are spread. I don't mean trading signals but for example, if you follow the Musk, you can get rid of unwanted crypto market movements. Just one tweet from this person crashed the whole market, so...

Just be updated about crypto-related news and decide yourself, what to do!

885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 21, 2021, 10:34:01 PM
Gamblers don't realize they are addicted to gambling until it's worse which they've done unthinkable already like breaking the piggybank of his kid just so he could gamble again. But you as a gambler can also notice it to yourself before you get to the worse situation like selling valuables like jewelry so you could play again.

Is seeking a new strategy or thinking of betting while you are sleeping signs of addiction? If not, what are little signs that unfold you are becoming a gambling addict?
There isn't any single sign or criteria but usually, person is addicted if he/she:
1. Spends more money in gambling than he can afford to.
2. Can't get fun from gambling, instead, he/she is getting nervous/anxious and agitated.
3. Person talks about gambling very often (It doesn't directly mean that he/she is addicted but usually, people talk about things that they are interested in and are captivated)
4. He/She prioritizes gambling more than necessary.
5. He gambles and his quality of life is declining.

Those are the main signs to my mind. If a person thinks about betting when there is a time of sleep, then sure he has very deep problems and it's not a typical addiction.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to Trust, Fiat Banks or BTC? on: July 21, 2021, 09:46:57 PM
Trust what? A currency? Which one? The one who is under the government's control or the one who was 60K yesterday and is 30K today. You can't trust any currency that's valued in USD. If you trust Bitcoin, then it automatically means that you trust USD/fiat because bitocoin's value is determined in USD and every time you have to pay for something, you always pay the BTC amount equal of a certain USD.

I would just say that Bitcoin or most of the cryptocurrencies are just safer alternative to store money in case there is something wrong happening around you. Government, etc, can seize your bank's account and your home but they can't seize the Bitcoins that you have stored in online or offline wallet, somewhere.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 20, 2021, 10:44:13 PM
They say that Vaccination is mandatory but at the same time do everything to push you to vaccinate. It's not right, isn't it discrimination when the taxes are collected from everyone and you only make free lottery for those who vaccinate? It's not really fair. Now some countries push the society to vaccinate by pushing business/companies to do everything to make work impossible for unvaccinated people. What a shame!

- Why the prize pool is only limited to Pfizer vaccine? So if someone got another vaccine like moderna or spotnick he won't be eligible for win ?
As I know it's hard for countries to get the Pfizer vaccine and I don't think they have a surplus of it (idk to be fair) but I also don't know whats wrong with Moderna? I understand that Sputnik V is a Russian vaccine and Poland people don't like Russia but what's wrong with other vaccines for them?

888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Don't Want To Hear Anybody Crying When BTC Will Reach 1M Per Coin! on: July 20, 2021, 09:50:12 PM
You had your chance to buy at $1.
You had your chance to buy at $10.
You had your chance to buy at $100.
You had your chance to buy at $1,000.
You had your chance to buy at $10,000

You still have the chance to buy NOW.

If you've failed all these times you deserve staying poor. No offence, but I think you had all the chances in the world. We can't make you rich by force.
I am against this kind of exhortation. So, let's everyone buy bitcoin, sit at home and do nothing and the world will succeed. Personally, I even think that it's very wrong that bitcoin is so volatile. Trading can't build the world, trading can't improve the world, trading can't heal you from your sickness.

Let's doctors trade instead of spending hours and nights in studying to become surgeons, pediatrics, etc. If they would invest that University tution fees in bitcoin some years ago, they would be very, very rich. If it's possible to earn money that easily, if we would buy $1000 bitcoin at $1 price, then life, all the effort we put in works, etc, has no meaning.

Who bought and waited, congrats to them but money doesn't grow on a tree. Let's wait and see what will happen Smiley
889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Spend your bitcoins with a 3rd party on Alixpress on: July 20, 2021, 08:55:30 PM
If KYC wasn't an issue for you, I would've suggested paying with WebMoney on Aliexpress...
- Without going through the KYC process, you're quite limited.

Notes:
- It might take a while before you get used to all of its terms and how everything works but it's worth it.
- Personally, I haven't used Aliexpress but up until a few months ago, I was using WebMoney regularly and the only reason why I stopped was because of the fact that I found a better alternative to transfer my funds locally.

There's also "DashBargain [I can't vouch]" that orders the items from their own account with your shipping address.

Directly to the buyer  Smiley We purchase the items with your shipping address and forward you the tracking number after the purchase.

Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress and many more.
I think it's not hard to buy WebMoney account. This provider is very popular in not only Russia but in poor countries where people don't care about their identities and would be more than willing to sell their KYC verified account for some bucks. It's not the right advice but just saying...

Also, there is a list from LuckyBtc of VCC providers that doesn't ask you for KYC documents - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DRbTeMCzb4UeXI0YlAzBxMc2u2i0cN_17Ql6eMngK6E/edit?usp=drivesdk

Also, Coinsbee can be a good option for you, here is their ANN thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182163.0

Yandex money can be a webmoney's alternative but idk if they ask you for KYC. At past they weren't asking.
890  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mechanics of Crypto Exchanges on: July 20, 2021, 04:09:11 PM
This is the question that can't be answered by one person, it's a very, very complex task and there are multiple people involved in it.

Overall, their work principle is simple, exchanges connect the people who want to buy and who want to sell. Exchanges also have reserves and offer you to buy/sell instantly but in a different rate. This is the basic, then comes the Futures Trading, Margin Trading, Staking, etc. For example, Binance lets you to become a liquidity provider and you earn money from those people who lose in Futures trading.

There is an AMM Formula explained: https://www.binance.com/en/support/faq/33f38db8c23e4a0f949b5433cdc7193a

You can also find a lot of useful information in their FAQ question that should answer some of your questions: https://www.binance.com/en/support/faq/c-5?navId=5
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people who ban Bitcoin in some countries give up Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2021, 01:11:49 PM
It's meaningless to ban something, even a lot of countries try to mitigate the laws that they have on drugs, etc. Even in case some countries ban Bitcoin, it just means that the demand will lessen, they can't abandon the crypto business / trading / gambling for some people who know how to use VPN, Tor, Tails and etc.
For average non-tech people, it may be very difficult and they may give up but the major players will always stay in game. We talk about Crypto that isn't cash and exist in virtual life. At the moment, it's impossible to control the virtual world the way it's possible to control real life.
892  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance ceasing support for stock tokens on: July 20, 2021, 12:41:41 PM
Binance is really trying to do a lot. They acquired Coinmarketcap, they created BUSD, an analogue of USDT and they pushed BNB to enormously grow in price from scratch. Then they added stocks trading without fees, a lot of "Safe High-Yield" stakings. Oh, they also have Binance Card, Binance Pay, they even have their own casino (which is meh but maybe in near future they'll seriously work on it).

Binance risked and violated securities rules by launching stock trading in that form. Their CEO and overall the company is very hyperactive. It will be better for them to know their limit and know when to start and when to stop.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 18, 2021, 09:05:49 PM
I was thinking that many countries are reluctant to legalise certain activities such as gambling, prostitution, smoking, ... and, apart from countries that have strong social and religious restrictions (I refer to those as the death-by-boredom countries) others simply consider than the state should not profit or allow activities that are considered diminishing for the workers or that may harm their health and personal relations (it must be difficult to be an addict to gambling or a prostitute and have a normal life).

However, other countries simply set high taxes to these activities, which I think is a false morality, as if by paying these activities can be less questionable. (Note: I personally do not question regulated gambling).
Man, those persons who make decisions around the tasks that you stated, aren't really stupid. No one is stupid for themselves, they even succeed and become the part of the government, so... But there are a lot of reasons why they do this or that!

When you legalize gambling, prostitution and similar activities, it will cause massive protest in olders and the highest part of society aren't young people. So, in order to win elections, they have to say the things that the majority of people want to hear. If you say that you are going to legalise prostitution in an Orthodox countries, sure, you'll lose a lot of votes in an election. If you legalize gambling, elder people come and say that these casinos are killing new generations and are doing all the evil things for the society... bla bla bla...

When prostitution is illegal, that doesn't mean that the government or some related people aren't earning money. We all know that you'll find dozens of prostitutes in every country, in every place. But it's kept like a secret, prostitutes work secretly, these areas function secretly (in secretly, I mean not loudly). Business owners make the easy money + in some countries they pay police some $$ to keep quiet and ignore/protect them.

(1) I don't know much about Binance, but Binance scamming is exactly what I'm concerned with. I don't know them to be trustworthy, and there are plenty of operations that present a good game but turn out to be a mess, so I don't give someone the benefit of the doubt just because they talk a good game.  I'm wondering what actual security there is, since one of the few things I know about them is they relocate jurisdictions a lot to avoid regulatory oversight.  This is a major red flag to me.
Binance is a number 1 exchange according to almost every statistics and at the same time, this is the company that owns coinmarketcap. Binance scam in a crypto world would be like a scam from Deustche Bank in fiat world.

(2)  Yes, if the coins depreciate more than the interest you earn, you lose more overall.  That's a concern on the investor side though.  I'm wondering how Binance can afford to to pay such high interest yields on deposits (the denomination doesn't matter, anyone paying interest has to make more than the cost of deposits otherwise they lose money).  So from Binance's perspective, if they're paying 45% APY on deposits, they have to earn more than 45% APY equivalent on those deposits otherwise they're just giving money away.

I think that this is announced by Freebitco.in and they have backed this promotion by giving Binance the supply and the money to run it. There is no way Binance would do it on its own for freebitco, so, 45% APY is really guaranteed.

locked funds mean something like this: When there is a high demand on thing X and it's not available, the price on thing X increases.
I don't think it's as simple as that in reality. If you look at the FUN token price you'll see it didn't change since the beginning of this offer and is still at  49 satoshis. Usually this kind of investment is offered more to create a craze and to attract new investors than to deter previous ones from selling them.
Yes, it's done to attract new investors and increase the popularity of coin too. It's advertisement when millions of people see the banner on Binance App or website and it increases the awareness of the product.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: July 03, 2021, 05:26:34 PM

It’s the best financial advice, covid is the marketing keyword to remind you, if you don’t spend every last penny in the wallet, you can never have a chance to spend that again. Spend until you drop you plebs!
How it can be the best financial advice? If we follow that logic, then there shouldn't be a second for our wallet to be filled because no one knows what will happen in seconds, anytime... You can die anytime if something very bad or very unlucky happens around you. Instead, people shouldn't think about that and overall, people shouldn't think short-term. Always, long-term thinking is the best advice. Personally, I prefer tomorrow's chicken over today's egg.
I guess that kind of thoughts aren't considered mentally normal and healthy. You don't know when you'll be ill, when you'll have a need of money and I believe you aren't that selfish to only think about yourself in this world and just ignore the parents, friends, relatives, etc.
900  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: July 03, 2021, 05:01:59 PM
<<>> I believe a simple answer would be that a player is expected to use the casino as a place to gamble not as a wallet.

In fact guys, I will share with you, I play at bet365 and recently I didn't play there for like months so they took away some balance of mine and sent me an email about it. So if the best and biggest sites can do it, surely bitsler can too.

I understand some people might return after more than 6 months but they can just create a new account and the support can merge the account under the same affiliate, I guess.

Is the gambler not allowed to create a new account at bitsler if his account gets deleted/suspended for inactivity in few months? If he creates one and in future, bitsler comes to know that he's the same gambler who left the site for long time but didn't come back, so in that gambler's safety, will bitsler use the "multi-account" term to stop that gambler from making a new account?
A simple way for a gambler is to withdraw their funds immediately once played at the casino, which prevents them from losing their funds some time in future if they forget about having kept them on that casino.

If your account is deleted, then it means that all the information about you is deleted and generally, you don't have account on Bitsler. Since you don't have account on Bitsler at this point, you can feel free to create a new one. Every casino welcomes if old users return to them, so, without doubt, there shouldn't be a that kind of "barrier" that you say.

And overall, user shouldn't leave their funds on another casino, the wise people have said - not your keys, not your coins. This doesn't mean that it's not safe to leave funds with Bitsler, they give you six month to withdraw but just saying, if you are going to leave the casino forever or for months and years, then just withdraw money and say goodbye!
