141  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Solana Mobile on: March 10, 2024, 04:47:03 PM

142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 01:12:43 PM
....... But it’s still better to hide your victories from others. I've seen many clear examples.

The advantage outweighs the disadvantages if you keep your winnings to yourself, people will not envy you relatives will not flock to borrow money from you, and you will have peace of mind because of envy.
I have two experiences both when I won huge money and everybody in my work and my neighborhood, It is depressing many friends are borrowing money some without even returning, others hold a drinking spree and I took all the cost.
The second time I won I did not mention it to anyone and I had peace of mind I could do whatever I wanted with the money, and there were no quarrels or enemies, sometimes it's better to be secretive.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 10, 2024, 10:16:54 AM

Possessing the correct information in the world of gambling is an advanced and useful step, as it makes the player play more comfortably without pressure from other players, which can change the course of the game at any time, increase the percentage of chances of profit, and reduce the percentage of losses on the other hand.

-Do you apply  this strategy while gambling?
-How do you benefit from it ?

Even if it is a game of chance you should stock yourself with knowledge on what you're betting, if it is a game of luck it will only take you a few minutes to fully understand the game so why skip understanding the games that you're playing if it's a sports betting you should at least understand how the game works and just get additional tips from the experts, you should also understand the rules and terms of the casinos you're playing so you will not get into any trouble.
You always have an edge if you fully understand how things work on something you will put time, effort, and money.

145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 09, 2024, 04:01:58 PM
Quite a number of gamblers are nursing an addictive gambling habit without knowing and for them their gambling life is normal but if they should  genuinely scrutinize or put their habit to test it is possible they could find varied errors to correct and be right on track again.

But will they? All that's playing in their heads is how to beat the house or what's the next strategy to employ, they are preoccupied with these thoughts that they don't care about their addiction and how to correct these errors.

I've seen gamblers denying that they are addicted to gambling and I at one point denied that I am addicted to color games in our fiesta even though I was early by one hour before the betting table opened up.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 09, 2024, 03:02:48 PM
Drake thought Francis Ngannou would win but Anthony Joshua knocked out Ngannou in the second round of the match of the heavyweight showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Drake lost $615000.

He's not the only one so many people take the risk of betting on Ngannou, I just found out through a friend that my office mate lost his two months' salary for betting Ngannou that he would knock out Joshua, now he has to take a loan to cover his bills and expenses at home.

Drake has a run of huge losses in main events it seems he is not lucky in gambling but this is nothing for Drake he can always get that amount with endorsement and concerts.
Drake is one example that there is no guarantee in gambling and if you bet be sure to bet what you can afford to lose.

148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 08, 2024, 03:42:03 PM
Damn this is going to be huge if Ngannou wins and wins by knockout. The media would explode with boxer is being knocked out by mma fighter. The price of Ngannou would skyrocket and he would never return to mma anymore. Somehow I feel sorry for AJ if he looses. For me it seems that people either have lost trust in him, or somehow dont like him. If he looses, other fighters are going to make fun of him. And I cant even imagine what would Ngannou do next. Definitely not going to retire, but who would he fight next. Fury again? Usyk? Or like he planned previously - Wilder?

I'm hoping that it'll happen, Ngannou is a special fighter I have followed his stint in the UFC and he owns some of the nastiest knockouts in UFC history, I watched him say that without these boxing rules, these guys or boxers are nothing to me, because if the likes of Joshua and Tyson or Usyk goes in MMA Ngannou will just maul these boxers.
Win or lose I read Ngannou will return to MMA but if he beats Joshua decisively he should go on and fight for the heavyweight title, he already made a lot of money in the Tyson fight and even here in the Joshua fight, he should strike it while the iron is hot.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 08, 2024, 02:48:04 PM
You mentioned in your thread that there is an 80% chance of winning, so why would I not lose the chance to make money, it's not easy to make money in gambling so I can ignore racism and manipulation if I have a chance to win a game, so many sports have their share of racism and manipulations, it's up to the commissions and the organizations to resolve these issues they will lose their reputation if they will not resolve those issues.
As a bettor, if there is a chance to make money then you have to go for it.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Even as a sport fan be careful! on: March 08, 2024, 01:09:28 PM
Two Brighton supporters were stabbed in Rome last night ahead of tonight's Europa League round of 16 first leg tie against Roma.

Rumors says they were away supporters, and the showoff was immense. I feel there is a need that if a Fan goes on a vacation to watch a game in a foreign country. They should be security conscious, observant and stay out of unnecessary banters that could lead them to troubles or death. It a game for fun and merriment not something we should take too personally to heart to cause trouble.

Football is one of the sports where they have blind supporters who hate everything that relates to their opponent, I have seen so many incidents like this, like riots, stabbings, and mauling from people coming from the country that beat their favorite team, I agree with your suggestion if you're a tourist or a visitor you should know your limitation and get to know the people on the place you're visiting.
Get updates on police warnings and locations where tourists are restricted.

151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 07, 2024, 04:04:35 PM
It's been posted on all social media Tyson still attracts a lot of attention, this is an interesting and exciting fight Tyson is still at the peak of his health even though he is already 60 years old but age is always a factor when it comes to boxing, Tyson may be good in the first two rounds but old age will catch with him and the fresh legs of Jake Paul will take over.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 07, 2024, 03:28:37 PM
Munguia will be KO. Looks like he doesn't even know what he got himself into. Canelo chooses his next victim since he's been fighting the fight when he wants to give ground to his opponent, he does it; when the opponent messes with him by talking too much, that's when he acts. I feel like Munguia will be knocked out if he says bad things before the fight. By the way, do you think Canelo will  fight David Benavidez in the future?

He may get knocked out he is not that ripe to fight a veteran fighter like Canelo, the only fighter that can beat Canelo is Benavidez, and Canelo knows it so they settle for Munguia instead of another Charlo fight, it's a Mexican against Mexican in front of the Mexicans, it may not look good for Mexican boxing fights but a Charlo will not bring profit for PBC while guaranteeing payment for Canelo.

But who knows Munguia is undefeated and an aggressive fighter who knows he might score an upset unless Canelo shows carelessness.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you had this gambling experience? on: March 07, 2024, 01:01:06 PM

There have been times I just out of no serious interest or enthusiasm just decide to try a few predictions on football games and due to the lack of interest in the games just decides to stake with a very low amount and boom, the games played, and you just realized the money won is nothing to be glad about.

But on certain day's i take the game seriously and put my mind into it and as a result had to stake in a good tangible amount of money to have the potential money to be won big but the games don't usual play despite all of the seriousness and analysis exerted into putting up the games.

That's how unpredictable gambling is I have experienced this so many times, especially on luck-based games there were times that I was not mindful of what I was betting and it turned out to be a winning roll and there were times that I was trying to win or thinking of a way to win by looking on patterns and but whatever I do or whatever strategy I keep losing.
Its so depressing and sometimes funny that these two things happen, you really never know how things will turn out so its better for us to just enjoy the game and just hope for the best.

155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 07, 2024, 08:57:47 AM
No doubt that among boxers AJ is more popular than Ngannou Cheesy But in general, for people who are just spectators, give them google and they would found that Ngannou is way better than AJ, because he knockout people cold.

Similar to what I have argued before, this certainly is because of Francis Ngannou's shocking performance against Tyson Fury who is a big name in boxing. Before this, no one has heard of Francis Ngannou's name or has cared for him being a champion in MMA. Also, another reason for this support might be because Ngannou is the underdog for this fight hehehe. The supporters also like Ngannou's story about being a poor child working in the sandmines where he developed a very strong warrior's body hehehe.
Francis Ngannou story can be considered a Rocky story and it will eventually happen if he beats Joshua, some people are still underestimating Ngannou just because he only has one fight but it is different if you win against a regular heavyweight and loses but scores a knockdown against a boxer considered to be a lineal and one of the generations greatest boxer, I have seen the face-off and both fighters are very cordial, both fighters did not engage in any thrash talks and but I don't want to make a mistake that it's a friendly match I expect both fighters to go to for a knock out as this is a very important fight for both fighters, this is a survival fight for both fighters.

157  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 06, 2024, 02:26:18 PM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?
This a trap that every gambler should avoid whether you are new or a veteran you must control yourself in wanting to recover your losses, it's not going to work and you will lose more money trying to recover your losses and you will feel depressed for trying because it's not going to work, on all my past experiences trying to recover my losses the more I chase my losses the more money that I kept spending I always end up out of control and I neglect my bankroll, I exhaust my allocation for a week in just 2 to 3 days of trying to recover my losses.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 06, 2024, 01:36:05 PM
As with any addiction, the effects of addiction to games of chance and betting do not fall on the gambler alone. It affects the family, friends, relatives, and everyone around him, and may lead to the deterioration of their conditions.

Of course, there are many indirect victims of gambling addiction. Can you add more?

One of the indirect victims is work or the company, it is hard to be productive if your mind wanders on gambling, and the company will suffer because of low productivity brought by people who cannot handle their gambling activity, just imagine if there are 5 gambling addicts within a company, the company will breakdown and they will have to fire these people and train new people to replace these people especially if the affected workers are those from upper rank.
These are indirect parties that will suffer from people who are addicted to gambling.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 06, 2024, 12:24:17 PM
AI has impacted almost all online businesses to major extent. Do you feel that there will be major impact of AI technology on online gambling industry as well ?

There's a lot of AI right now, but there's no AI dedicated to luck-based games they can only offer suggestions, but on sports betting, there are a lot of AIs created to help sports bettors and bookmakers like Zcodesystem, Rebel betting, and many others, its up to the bettors on how to use these tools wisely, but gambling is still gambling and you cannot be sure on every bet, because there are circumstances that's beyond the scope of AI's and this is something every gamblers should understand while using these AI's.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jermall Charlo 4th May 2024 in Las Vegas on: March 05, 2024, 04:49:11 PM
^^ But what happens to Canelo saying that he doesn't want to fight another Mexican, and so it includes Munguia and David Benavidez. However, you saying that he will be fighting Munguia as I thought that it will be Berlanga a Puerto Rican as his next opponent. And if by chance he chooses Munguia, then it's a clear duck and avoiding Benavidez like a plague. Even Mike Tyson is now going in public and questioning Canelo's choice of opponent as Canelo is turning down Benavidez although there is huge money in the table  as he is guaranteed to the tune of $50 million++. So it looks like Canelo is cherry picking soft opponents and he doesn't want to lose again just like what Bivol did to him.

His promoter PBC is in dilemma Canelo wants to pick a lesser or a fighter that he thinks he can dominate to the tune of $30 million, but PBS is not going to make money from the fighters he is picking both of them have their interest, which is why we are reading rumors that he is parting ways with PBC, I don't know if there are promoters who will grant Canelo's wishes of fighting weak opponents at a big price, no promoters would like to gamble on that, so we will see in the coming days who will Canelo face, either he gives in or his promoter
