61  Economy / Gambling / 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com -- Your Trusted Bitcoin Gambling Wallet (Upgraded Speeds!) on: June 06, 2016, 01:03:31 AM
Hi DogeDigital, & UniBTC,

I wanted to personally thank & congratulate your impressive continued effort @ improving the GUI & functionality / feature set of MoneyPot (..not to mention *security* !!!! Which always comes before anything else - else those little hackers get a field day Wink) - Especially since ~Feb-March this year, seems every few weeks the site gets better!

I appreciate RanLo's team taking over from RHavar because otherwise he would've probably given up and we gamblers would not have this incredible platform, along w/ of course the excellent BetterBets site, to use..

So hopefully this won't be construed as trolling or post-padding - I noticed today you removed the old references to BustaBit from moneypot.com/FAQ, that's good ; I read every page on the site to scout for other blemishes & now it seems only a few typo's & time errors remain, which I've documented here :

Hello,

Regarding Bi-Weekly Lotto that ran from ~Apr 30 to "~May 13/Never" :

I also spent 0.02 for 2 bi-weekly lotto tickets on BetterBets back around early May, and while the BTC was debited from my account, and I was given those tickets, this drawing never actually was resolved & therefore the randomly winning account was never announced on betterbets.io/app/content/raffle/, nor were, to anyone's knowledge, the winning prize disbursed to anyone. There were ~40+ tickets showing as purchased for that Lotto, until ~May 13, I remember seeing.

The account used to buy the tickets then was moneypot.com/users/evil.

Could this be looked into please, tyvm! ^^
63  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: May 30, 2016, 10:43:43 AM
Governments & Large institutions aren't stupid.

They can simply create their own controlled blockchains, they've 0 need whatsoever to opt in to some already distributed decentralized token ledger system.

So without their stamp of approval, no, trustless decentralized publicly-distributed 'libertarian' cryptocurrencies such as BTC cannot get 'legal tender' status[recognized officially as money for all payments of debts, goods, services, by the State itself]. Meaning they don't replace money.

But.

For a decentralized cryptocurrency w/ a well-established network effect, such as BTC, to achieve one or two major orders of magnitude of mass adoption, can happen without government support &/or 'officially approved as legal tender' status.

How?

Simple :

1] [Demand] Create a zeitgeist movement convincing/marketing to the mainstream public that banks are not safe, not your friend, they control your funds and you have little recourse, whereas trustless crypto like Bitcoin allows you to have full control, be your own bank.

2] [Security] Make wallets & payment gateways/crypto website GUI's a lot safer to use, idiot-proof, insured, and user-friendly/less technical-inclined.

3] [Access] Last but not least, exploit most people's laziness by paying them in BTC instead of fiat. Now that you have tens, possibly hundreds of millions of employees being paid in Bitcoin for their regular job's income, as long as there is even more merchant adoption for them to freely, easily spend their BTC at - Will they bother switching their 'crypto paycheck' every 2 weeks, back into fiat..? Of course not. They don't buy BTC right now because their main sources of income come in fiat. The minute you switch this around - they receive payment in BTC instead, on a regular basis - then they don't bother swapping it to fiat. Boom. You just created a self-reinforcing Bitcoin mass adoption feedback loop.

You spent more than $1M USD on that ?

You got ripped off.

Yea it..just doesn't please the eye ;/  Sorry Theymos. Prefer the classic forum theme by far. It's got such rustic charm to it.

And I'm typically an avid adopter of #new sh*t - particularly clean / 'polished chrome white'-looking interfaces..
65  Other / Meta / Re: It's Time For Theymos To Kill The Alt Section on: May 30, 2016, 09:36:26 AM
Alt coin section of this forum can not be removed. EVER. So you can close this thread.

Sure it can

Code:
mv altcoin/* /dev/null

Whether it should is another question.

The absolute majority of the many Global Mods, Mods, Staff and Users that wanted the Altcoin Section gone.

With the impending launch of the new forum maybe this is a subject that needs to be re-visited.

It's time for the Altcoins to be kicked to the curb and establish their own community.

~BCX~

Lol. Necro from Beyond Uranus.

2 years+ & counting and OP was *still* sore & raw from having cluelessly lost money on an altcoin pump in 2013 ;]]

..Speaking of industrial chemicals, could it be practical to load up a SuperSquirter type watergun with chemical toxins or even acid..? Ceramic doesn't melt to most / all(?) acids so one could tinker up a ceramic-coated liquid container to plug in the water gun instead of the factory-standard plastic container..? How would one go about doing this exactly?

Goal being as a custom, cool weapon, obviously - without the explosive risks brought by messing w/ the notorious homebuilt flamethrower squirt gun adaption (add lighter + gasoline instead of water.. boom..) Alongside the more conventional tasers, pepper sprays, baseball bats, machetes & katanas of course Wink

What do you think about this.Huh they claim that satan is the real god and jesus is the  traitor.

But in almost every movie book aand other stuff they claim jesus is the real god , are we getting fooled.?? Is satan the one that must have ruled the earth he depicts greediness which is so humanlike.

He was the one that induced desire in eve to make her go for the apple, if he was that bad we wouldn't even exist we would have been dumba nd in bliss forever but now we are a civilization.

I am not asking you to support satan , but the darkness surrounding satan is so very attractive and unignorable ,so many powerful leaders have been satanists.

Tell me about your thoughts advices and everything about satan .

This is certainly a good off topic !!!!!.

"THERE IS NO GOD BUT MYSELF" "KNOWING THIS, WHO DARES WORSHIP THE FALSE GODS OF THE KORAN AND BIBLE?"
-SATAN
FROM THE QU'RET AL-YEZID

Some believe that Lucifer was a heavenly or angelic name that was taken from Satan when he rebelled. The Bible doesn't explicitly state this, though Satan is nowhere else referred to as Lucifer but instead is called other names like the devil, Satan, etc.

LaVeyan Satanism, as codified in The Satanic Bible, is a religious philosophy founded in 1966 by Anton LaVey. Its core beliefs and philosophies are based on individualism, epicureanism, secularism, egoism, and self-deification, and propagates a worldview of naturalism, materialism, Social Darwinism, and Lex Talionis.

It appears you have been tempted by vile darkness my son..!

Quickly now, repent for your blasphemous transgressions by dousing your body in a bath of Holy Water, pray for forgiveness to purge the beastly heresies from your impure thoughts, & flagellate yourself in stern penitence.

Do not tarry..! Else the Infinite Serpent's depraved whispers shall defile your soul beyond any redemption, and you will be lost to the blackest abyss of Pandemonium..

it should be male domination in usual life and female in sex
it should be female domination in life and male in sex

There are more divisions to 'general life' than that^

From evolutionary genetic drives, most males feel more empowered, fulfilled, purposeful when in a role of leader & protector for broader issues, outside threats, direction/vision, etc, affairs which are external to the couple itself. Females in turn, tend to feel more satisfied, peaceful, happier when in a complementary, following role to a leading man.

Peering at inside the couple's domestic dynamics however, the reverse becomes true. Women will naturally tend to micromanage and direct this aspect of life, and the men with them will find it decidedly smooth, easy & simpler to just follow the woman's whims to wherever they may lead ; they'll find a great tolerance & adaptiveness to the female's antics.

As for during sexual episodes themselves, which gender feels more fulfilled & natural at leading will vary based on the individual.

So, as can be discerned^, the biological truth is that realistically, men & women are not meant to be equal.

They are different, and always will be - that's the point. They are equivalent. Complementary.

Indeed, totalitarian enforced equality is boring, and leads to inefficient distribution of roles that proves dissatisfactory & unfulfilling to both genders. Thus the widespread modern malaise of the emasculated male - confused, aimless, powerless ; and the feminist wonderwoman - distraught, frustrated, unfulfilled ; these are symptoms caused by a pervasive culture of delusionally impractical concepts of 'equality'.

73  Other / Off-topic / What do you like, trading or gambling? on: May 30, 2016, 06:58:50 AM
Well duh of course trading offers slightly more control over the outcome, on average. You're against humans' [bot-executed, nowadays, but still human-programmed] market price decisions - it's feasible to come out on top on a regular basis, there are limits to how severe &/or prolonged a single movement/streak/direction can be allowed (by market participants) to go on un-corrected. Contrast that with gambling, where you're fighting to overcome a relentless house edge %..

Regardless, when putting in thousands of hours into both venues, one soon discovers trading & casino gambling have many more similarities than they have differences..

Not to mention - none of the ^above matters for people in certain circumstances Shocked

Such as, for instance, in my case - I need a '500-bagger'.

..This year.

Last time you could trade any asset & make 500x like that was if being insider-with-dev-type-of-lucky, and *in 2014* back in the last year of the altcoin frenzy wild west early days. Ain't gonna be no 500x, or even 40x, from now on, not in timeframes measured in less than several years.

Now if I made roughly 9x per year on average trading forex like this decently skilled average trader manages based on his compounded quarterly returns, I'd exponentiate to 6500x in ~4 years. That's a pretty ridiculously short amount of time for such a spectacular gain. Except - I don't have 4 years.

So, I dice.

My favorite shows are Dexter, The Mentalist, Suits, House, Californacation and Breaking bad, looking for something like these shows! I love shows that is somewhat about the mind, like Dexter and Mentalist.
have you seen Limitless? If you have not, watch the movie first.

The movie is good, while the Limitless series is a tediously popculture-pandering vapid disappointment. Many on IMDb forums attest to this.

75  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: May 30, 2016, 06:18:14 AM
Is belief in a god necessary in order to explain the origin on the universe?
This is not so. Science has very convincingly explained how the universe came into being without having to introduce the god-idea.

Is belief in god necessary to have a happy, meaningful life?
Again we can see that this is not so. There are millions of atheists and free-thinkers, not to mention many Buddhists, who live useful, happy and meaningful lives without belief in a god.

Some claim that belief in god’s power is necessary because humans, being weak, do not have the strength to help themselves.
Once again, the evidence indicates the opposite. One often hears of people who have overcome great disabilities and handicaps, enormous odds and difficulties, through their own inner resources, through their own efforts and without belief in a god.

Some claim that god is necessary in order to give man salvation.
But this argument only holds good if you accept the theological concept of salvation and Buddhists do not accept such a concept. Based on his own experience, the Buddha saw that each human being had the capacity to purify the mind, develop infinite love and compassion and perfect understanding.

Understandings of god differ for each culture and person in the world. As similar as some views may be, building a relationship with god is a quest an individual must take for oneself. This personal quest does not necessarily mean Christianity, any of the Abrahamic faiths, or any other particular religion. Believing in god simply means believing in a higher power.

God is necessary to pacify and control large societies. Without the self controlling ability of religions, police and military forces would need to be several magnitudes larger than they are with gods. The ancients new it and created their own gods to keep people in line. The Church of England is the perfect example.

Henry VIII wanted an annulment of his marriage to Catherine of Aragon so he literally created his own church to do it. It also gave the government complete control of their people instead of having them controlled by a foreign government. Religions and whatever god is behind them are nothing more than political tools used to pacify ridiculously stupid people (the average person).

Lol! This guy.. ^_

Anyway, it's extremely obvious some men created religion purely to control others ; that being said, once we delve deeper, and try to give faith itself the benefit of the doubt, as a value proposition on its own merit, we find that logically, scientifically, secularly even - there is benefit to the individual who believes.

This benefit is personal. Like a crutch, but also a bulwark, a support. The entire purpose of the exercise is to believe, have faith, like a gamble, in something that CANNOT be proven.

Proving it scientifically, whether via mathematics, physics, or otherwise ; is an act of complete, exhaustive, utter futility which misses the entire objective of having faith in the first place.

Want to be happy - stop needing, desiring things like your typical shallow mainstream plebian [that an abhorrently, negligently-designed, arbitrary universe like ours was never meant to provide to fulfill its sentient beings therein in the first place anyway].

You no longer need, desire, yearn - you stop aching, and become content.

It's too much money, anyone w/ the slightest brain can see that - but! There is a glimmer of good news about things like this.

It shows virtual world economies, lifestyles, the concept of earning a living exclusively via work in virtual worlds ; as well as, by consequent, more in-depth virtual realities, eventually leading to full-immersion VR, are well in progress!

This is the dream. The sacred vision of the future all us cyberpunks/gamers/anime fans/many other circles have longed for since the '80's.

Acquiring material items made on a conveyer belt in some factory does not bring you anything else than shallow temporary thrills and maintenance/storage costs.

To reach any sense of lasting fulfillment &/or happiness, you must do something that makes you feel accomplished.

Driving a Lambo or sailing a yacht, is not an accomplishment.
