As a newbie on this forum, for some days now I have been going through threads, reading and trying to understand and getting better knowledge on every single one of them
In a thread someone said "Bitcoin is not all about happiness" can a little more light be thrown on this?
Well just imagine if bitcoin brings all the happiness that we want, then there will be no fiat user left as everyone will rush into bitcoin. At least there should be balance though. Bitcoin may somehow brings the best of joy, but at some point it could also give us the worst loss we could never imagined having. However, if you are just here to create shortcuts for profits, then believe me, there’s no shortcuts to success even in the most volatile investment like bitcoin. Everything should be done with patience and hardwork. |

I’m definitely one of those who believe that the next bitcoin bull run will only happen right after bitcoin halving has taken its place. But of course, the possible price increase effect will only happen several months after bitcoin halving because that’s what I’ve been observed from those previous bull runs. Although this is still a prediction as no one holds what the future will bring, but looking back it’s history and if there are chances that history repeats, then the same old pattern will set to happen again.

I don’t see it wrong to explore day trading at some point, but what makes it wrong is to expect daily profits like $50 or $100 as you’ll find it hard to make it happen especially if you are not used in doing high risk day trading. Even successful day traders cannot guarantee profits daily, so how much more for a beginner day trader like you.
You know my suggestion is, you can try to do day trying but never set a fixed amount for your profits. Otherwise, you’ll end up in frustration. Also, know that day trading requires bigger capital, at least you’re aware about it.

Because of greed, I was able to make hasty decisions that made me regretting in the end. That was the time when I never realized that bitcoin is only for patient people, aside from the fact that it’s a long term investment due to its highly volatile and unstable market condition. That time, I end up losing consistently until I realized I have to take a different perspective about bitcoin. Perhaps that was happening too because what I invest is never a small amount, but I jump on investing big that is obviously not an amount I can easily afford to lose. Now I’ve learned my lesson to take one step at a time, and to never expect too much from bitcoin especially if you are just a beginner investor in the market.

I always believe bitcoin is for everyone but after witnessing a lot of people end up failing and losing big time from investing in bitcoin, now I can say that bitcoin is definitely not for weak and easily fainted individuals. And those who have been highly spirited and well motivated to invest in bitcoin despite of its high and inevitable losses, those were the ones brave enough to establish their faith in bitcoin.

It has always been the core roster management for any team that Lebron has played so far give or take. You get one guy who would be great at rebounding, you get one guy who would be great at defending, and bunch of shooters all around, including bench. That way Lebron can drive inside and either dunk or layup or just pass outside to an open shooter, or Lebron could just straight up shoot when the defense goes deep to defend the drive, he shoots very well at three point line on his later years, and the rebounder will get the rebounds whenever someone misses. The system is always built like this and they have what they need right now. I think they won't be the best team, but if they play right and do not get injured like they always do, they will be fine.
As far as I can remember that core roster was too good during their reign on the 2020 championship but has always me wondering why they easily dissolved most of the players around him. Well, I think Austin Reaves was really the dark horse now on the team good thing he got the advices from Lebron, that kid has confidence and with him, LBJ and Davis I guess that's a fine squad. They extension with Russel and Hachimura and the addition of Vincent, they are likely in a fine tune. They already show how fine they are for their last season performance and I guess when can see more better from them since they are really now comfortable with recent success they got. The only problem now is how their new addition could blend with their old roster since if they show that they can work with those big guys like lebron and David then can play with their roles we can say that Lakers is a monster team to bet this season. They need to work that out because Hayes is not that well experienced when it comes to defending the paint and its rim, yes he got the size and height but that will not be enough if he cannot secure their defense properly and AD will be forced to work that out again leaving Lebron instead of having the freedom to chase anyone and contribute to the team's offense being a PF. They don't have that much option as well because sooner or later, the Lakers will have to find somebody that is much younger, who also got the right height to man their defense in the center because AD is not getting any younger and healthier. His situation will always be the same and that his vulnerability will give the team another weakness if ever he will catch another injury again, which is very likely. Hayes is a good candidate for that and I can see why the Lakers chose him. |

Yes, using gambling as fun, it will serve as a surprise and great gift when a big jackpot is won. so it is always better to use gambling as fun with small amounts. Gambling with a fresh mind can lead to better gambling outcomes as a fresh mind will always help us a potential prediction . So gambling with a fresh mind will have more winning chances than gambling with panic or emotions
But in reality, gamblers who are too enthusiastic make gambling a place to make a lot of money, even though they don't know what the risks will be. The gambler who wants to get rich overnight places a lot of bets hoping to hit the jackpot, but in the end he loses all his money. this will be dangerous and become addictive. mindset like this will make gamblers always panic and get emotional. I stay away from that mindset and think of gambling more as entertainment. Relying on gambling just to make rich would be a big risk. It's fine to see it as a way to getting huge profit but we can't rely our success on it because if we put too much effort in gaining our target profit here just to get rich, we might end up losing everything. We can have it as a source of entertainment or try our luck on it but we should still find a stable source of income aside from it if our goal is to get rich. It is still important that we know how to put limitations in gambling despite our goal of winning. Perhaps it was on a lottery that everyone thinks that they can be rich very quickly through gambling. And if that happens then they made their dreams come true. But if we go back to what the OP posted, it is still the mindset that makes the difference here. And even if we won big, but we have poor mindset, then in just matter of years, those winnings will be gone for good. But if you have a positive mindset that after winning, you know what to do with your money then you will not get broke again, or even you can continue to gamble and enjoy for the rest of your life. Well, the good news for that is everything can be learned for free so that you will have the right mindset when the time will come to you that you will get rich. I know it's hard to get rich but that's just the tip of the iceberg because the situation will be a lot more difficult than what it is as when the situation is already there, you will have to maintain that wealth and be more stable in life without losing any as much as possible. |

^^ Lol, I thought it is Jake Paul, but his younger who is going to fight. And same as what his brothers is doing, fighting another MMA artist in a stand up fight in boxing, so that they will have the advantage and most likely will win.
It's interesting that DAZN is carrying this fight, they will have to ride on the Paul brothers hype train in this exhibitions because this is business and there are a lot of money that is going to be made here.

Excitement is what makes someone forget that he has to secure his profit upon winning those bets. And also being confident that he'll never lose on that day is what stops him from doing it too. Probably we're mentally strong when we're able to cash out and take the profit but I wouldn't say that those that didn't are mentally weak. But it's true that they need to control themselves and forget not that they're gambling for the money and just having fun is just next to it. I think when he was with the Lakers, Lebron has a bunch of good 3 point shooters. And even after they have traded most of the championship rosters they have in 2019, they still keep that blue print. However, those outside shooters and defenders didn't click with them and so they have to rebuild everything starting last year with their new coach. And now it seems their focus is trying to get help on AD, that's why they got Hayes or even trying to give Christian Wood a try, if I read it correctly. The Lakers had their best roster when they secured a championship. Regrettably, they had to disband that team and bring in new players for assistance. However, the new lineup hasn't been able to match the previous team's performance. During their championship run, Dwight Howard and Rondo proved to be valuable teammates, and their playoff experience played a crucial role in achieving that victory. While we can offer our observations and opinions, it's likely that the management saw specific changes that were necessary. On the contrary, I haven't come across many changes within the Nuggets, who were the champions of the last NBA finals. Dubai is not a country mate, it's just an emirate or a state which belongs to the country of United Arab Emirates (UAE). Also, I said that it's either of the two things because of the struggles that a non-Muslim visitor could experience if a world cup will again be hosted by another Muslim country, financial power wasn't even discussed because there is no need for that as it is quite evident that these countries are rich. Lastly, I haven't said anything that the Qatari government should change their religion for one month  I only said something about their rules so that it will be friendly enough to a non-Muslim visitor as it's almost safe to assume that 80% of people that will watch the event is non even a Muslim. No one asked the Qataris to change their religion or to dance as per the whims and fancies of the tourists. All we asked as to keep the promises that the Qataris gave, when they won the rights to host FIFA World Cup. Qataris used the tournament as a venue to splash their wealth. They spend anywhere from $250 billion to $300 billion on hosting this tournament (and at the same time refusing to provide a penny as compensation to the 6,000+ dead construction workers). They broke their own word by imposing a total ban on beer, just two days before the tournament. Beer was available only to those with the top-tier ticket. Also, there was a lot of discrimination towards unmarried and LGBT couples. Yes, that simple but seeing the things as they seem now, it's like it will be too much to ask because they are really not that inclined to make their rules flexible enough to make the visitors enjoy their time in their country and be entertained. This must be changed and should be given a time by the FIFA council specially if Saudi Arabia is also looking forward to host a world cup soon. Nobody is arguing about Qatar's capabilities to host a world cup nor their religion, it's not what people wanted, it's just a big misunderstanding because when it comes to rules, people tend to involve religion and beliefs in it too. |

I'm not sure Logan Paul can really get McGregor to fight him because it won't be up to par and McGregor will definitely just take what Logan Paul said as a joke. For Jake or Diaz it might be a Logan Paul fight but I think it will be a bit of a tough fight for Logan Paul when actually against one of them. What I still wonder is Logan Paul can earn so much more money from his income as a YouTuber and actor then why else does he care about a boxing career. But if Logan Paul can fight against one of them maybe this will be surprising and become quite a sensational fight.  You know what, I'm also trying to figure that out to get an answer on that question as I've been curious as well why he still fighting when he is already having profits on the sidelines by making stuffs like that was mentioned above. Tough to say though but I think boxing scene always guarantees them millions that is why they cannot get themselves out of it and it's just too hard for them specially after the fact that they are already so accustomed to be in a limelight so that they will be always relevant. |

These researchers found that if you work from home you will be less efficient and productive than people who from their office. Can we say the same about freelance workers? Do you think that if workers are given the chance to "own" a task like freelancers they'll be more productive because it is just like being self-employed where you treat it as your business and not with the mindset of another man's business? I think this depends on the dedication of the person who is working from home. I believe it became less productive because people who are working from home do not experience the same pressure when they are at the office where many people eyes are observing the employee. This make them get easy in doing their job. But to a person who prioritized integrity and credibility, I do not think that the result of working from home will make any difference when he is working at the office. Absolutely. Any person who finds high dedication to his work with or without the supervision of his heads, will always finish his work productively. Because he is matured enough to think that he’s been properly compensated of his work, so in return he should give back the trust and confidence that his company has entrusted him. So there’s no big difference with wfh and working on site, except if he is abusing his position at his own comfort. |

Copy trading can lead us into profits at some point, but it can never ultimately provide us a consistent flow of income. Nevertheless, even trading itself cannot ensure beginner traders to earn from it because of the high risks that are involved in trading. Furthermore, what makes it more dangerous to use is that you are copy trading from a very unreliable trading provider. You will not only lose your capital and future profits, but the time you put into it will only go into waste.

It did happen but obviously never at the beginning since learning bitcoin at first brings a lot of stress and confusion especially that it’s not an easy topic but a broad and complicated one. But when you get to be knowledgeable and even experienced in the end, that’s the time that you will appreciate the value of bitcoin, especially if it brings a lot of positive changes in your life.

Nice work there @OP on calming down your friend. There are always people who are hot-headed and gut infuriated when they received the one they are not expecting. In this case @OP's friend receive Bitcoin and since that is not in the option of the thing he thinks he will receive and with lacking knowledge, the guy throws a tantrum, lol. Due to being furious the guy lost the essense of reasoning and think that receiving Bitcoin(due to lack of understanding of what Bitcoin is) means he get nothing.
True. It’s a good thing too somehow that his friend is not aware about the value of bitcoin because if he knew it from the start, he must have sell it after he received it knowing all he want is money or a big property. But thanks to you OP as you were there to enlighten him and instead encourage him to educate about bitcoin. At least for now, hodling the bitcoin at a non-custodial wallet would be the best option. |

Who said that we are now in the verge of experiencing bull run? Because as far as I know, that will only happen if we are seeing consistent price hike not just for bitcoin but in majority of the crypto coins. And since it’s not happening yet, then we should be watchful not to absorb and rely information that are actually misleading. Bitcoin halving is set to happen by next year, so we should patiently wait for it while preparing our portfolio by maximizing our bitcoin accumulation.

In general, we should know from the start our goals why we are chasing for bitcoin. If we aim to grow and be as skilled like professionals, then we should acquire knowledge and never stop learning as long as we’re capable to learn. Bitcoin is not just limited to profits only, but also with bitcoin we are taught indirectly how to manage our finances and improve our current financial condition. So just stick to the goal and be consistent in everything that we do to acquire bitcoin, that way all our adversity will shift into bitcoin opportunities.
