I downloaded the tos pdf on my phone, works fine! i've uploaded the pdf on docdro, if anyone wants to view the pdf contents.(http://docdro.id/CR7bPQo)

Thanks for the link  probably the issue is on my browser.

Alex, do you have limitations about the countries your users are comming from ?
It should be mentioned in their terms and conditions isn't it ? I tried opening the page https://www.bitdice.me/tos.pdf but unable to load/download the PDF.Mind checking if it's working for you ?

,I'm assuming they follow the same guidelines.Anyway, the terms and conditions PDF should answer your question.

I had no problem to access the TOS, i am using Firefox, maybe you should try.

The reason why i ask, is that the TOS can be amended to enable such usage, and it may even be possible without breaking it.

I tried it on firefox  and i can confirm that the pdf open meaning the page is fine, seems it has an issue with google chrome browser or I am missing some plug-ins.

I check with chrome and here is the error :

tos.pdf:1 Refused to load plugin data from 'https://www.bitdice.me/tos.pdf' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "object-src 'none'".

Alex should check that.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum classic vs Ethereum on: May 17, 2017, 12:59:49 PM
Still amazed at how many people think ETC - Ethereum Classic - is the fork and copied!

You can easily look this up for yourself. ETH - Ethereum - decided to fork to return the investors money that was hacked and taken during the DOA period. ETC decided to keep the chain and move on with the loss, as would any sane person operating a blockchain.

If you want to compare it to something, it would be like the MtGox incident. Imagine the BITCOIN chain was reversed to allow people to retrieve their money and in turn remove the immutability aspect principles of Bitcoin. While this would satisfy the people who lost a lot of money as a result. It would also mean you have reversed the actions that took place. In such a case, ETC would be the chain that decided to honour the principles and keep going on the same chain while ETH - ETHEREUM - decided to fork the chain and return peoples money.

I am still surprised people have not looked into this and believe that ETC is a fork.

You can read about it on their website:
https://ethereumclassic.com/

From my side, i know that ETH is actually a fork of itself, and that the original chain is ETC.
The problem is that, when you compare the development of each chain, you will find huge differences. ETH's API is by far the most developed one, while ETC may be the most "sane" chain.

My problem regarding Ethereum (ETH+ETC) is, these guys should work together regardless of their differences. I also noted how the support is hardly provided by ETC guys, and how it kind of doesnt exists for ETH guys, unless you want to run a smart contract. And this a general fail for both of them.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Macron supporting bitcoin? what does it mean for us? on: May 17, 2017, 12:25:58 PM
Typo error? Sorry, but there's no excuse. Don't they have proofreaders? Don't they check the correct spelling of a word if they're not familiar with it? I do. I know France has low standards, but failing to write correctly bitcoin on a government's document where it's very precisely the subject is telling a lot.

Let me remind you that you are telling us firstly France doesn't know anything about Bitcoin and is a loser because there is a typo in a PDF document. How silly is such argument? You are just ridiculous and not a credible person. Yet you make yourself typos as well, so according to you, you'are a loser as well. Ironic. And no, France doesn't have "low standards", I can see you don't know anything. I guess Google is available in your country ? Use it wisely

I don't make typo errors. I can't afford it. I would lose my job if I did, so I'm paying proofreaders, people who check and correct my words if necessary. Besides, when I wrote about "low standards", I wasn't only thinking about typography. I've been in France 4 times so far this year (I'm also going to Paris next Friday, but it will be a quick trip, I'll arrive in the morning, and leave in the afternoon), 3 times before going to Italy, and Italy is cleaner, with more polite people. Believe me, I know France, all the neighboring countries, and I'm very good when it comes to comparing countries.

Back to Macron, I'm still waiting for a tangible proof of his supposed support.

Oh Paris ?  oh yeah, man you're so funny. What a great representation of France, you make my day seriously Cheesy Cheesy

Like most French, I'm afraid you're plain stupid, believing to know everything without actually knowing anything. Sorry to point it out, my apologies, but you should not suppose things about me without knowing me. I've lived in Paris, Cannes and Nice. I've hired and fired French people (loved that last part). I owned an apartment on the Riviera, and a house in Brioude (bought in 2008, sold in 2012). Are you familiar with Brioude? I was, and I'm sure there are many places in France I know and you don't. And I've also been living in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain, so I repeat myself, I know France very well, and my knowledge of other countries enables me to make valid comparisons.

I've seen the news about the new prime minister from Le Havre, I've been swimming there once. He has a lot to do with Macron, and I believe they will fail, because French people are viscerally opposed to change.

You are totally right about this point because french people are the most complaining in the world. It is not that i have something against them, it is just their nature, and Marcon said that his challenge will be to change this, so he knows about that, and that's why i will follow him closely.

Now regarding Bitcoin, i think that we should try to get informations about what happened regarding the law he changed to enable to the usage of Bitcoins, if it had been beneficial or not. This may be the best answer we will get regarding the support of Macron.

Site is a scummy operation, my account magically doesn't work anymore and their "within 24 hours" support doesn't respond. Total scumbags, glad I only lost a little over .1 btc to these twats although I'd rather burn 5x that  amount to prevent these morons from getting any.

I'm not aware of any issues.

If you have sent an email or support request please resend it again to contact@bitdice.me.

Regards,
Alex.

Alex, do you have limitations about the countries your users are comming from ?

i am asking because it would be great to allow the users of NVO to play on Bitdice using the wallet, is it also possible to play remotely ? i mean, is it feasable from your side in both legal and development ?
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale] NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet on: May 17, 2017, 09:40:49 AM

There won't be signature campaign for the crowdsale. The team decided to keep these funds at the release of NVO, so there will be a signature campaign and a high marketing pressure on it.

In about 48 hours there will be a translation bounty posted in the thread, as an update, everyone will be notified.

waiting for this announcemenet in 48 hours,,
maybe there will be any others bounty, not only for translation  Wink

Seeing that there are many requests for the signature campaign, I will ask the team if they can launch one.
As long as it is your pleasure, I think that will please the team too.

finally another project with a name behind....to many projects behind a newbie account. someone that has a name in bitcointalk put it on the line for a project..i'll watch this one.good luck team

Thank you for your support, I would like the community to ask me questions about the project, about development, the feasibility of the project. More feedbacks.

It would be good for the people who will join later, and I will try to answer to as many questions as possible, with a real pleasure. I would like to ask you to find flaws in the project, at least the team could bring answers about them, because as of now, it seems that everything is fine, but I still would like to get more feedbacks from the developers in the community, especially because I want the investors to understand the project.

The questions will be added into the FAQ.

Thanks again.

Still no announcement about any bounty I think OP can make this clear whether it's on plan or not. I also agreed with you bounty campaign is attractive way to spread the words in crypto related people to raise the awareness for any upcoming project.

Yes it is planed, and they will be disclosed soon. Thank you for your patience.

Decentralized exchange just like DEX on wavesplatform ,,
depends on your explanation, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1917456.msg19018743#msg19018743
so there will be 2 token on this project ?

Let me explain to you why 2 tokens.
NVO Token will represent the market cap of the NVO project.
let's imagine a daily volume on the NVO exchange of : 500.000 USD.
Weekly it is : 3.500.000 USD
Let's say Bob exchanges Bitcoin for Alex's Ethereum.
NVO will take a fee of 0.2% at the moment of the transaction from Bob and from Alex which will result in a total of 0.4% on the transaction.
During a week of trading, NVO will collect 0.4% of the trading volume which is 3.500.000 USD resulting in 14.000 USD.
NVO will keep 7.000 USD, and share 7.000 USD among the  NVOT holders.
In order to get deeply in the details, and know how much an investor will get as a return, let's say that NVO collected 300.000 USD from the crowdsale from 200 investors or bakers.
The average investment by investor would be 1500 USD.
As the weekly collected fees would be 7.000 USD / 200 investors, it would return an average of 35 USD.
In this case, NVO won't have troubles regarding legal stuff as it will process tiny amounts, and won't be forced to be centralized by an authority.
But if NVO does a 5.000.000 USD  volume daily, which is reachable, it would bring 35.000.000 USD weekly volume, 140.000 USD fees collected, and 70.000 USD for the investors which will result in 350 USD weekly for each investor on average. Monthly it would be 1400 USD, and this would attract the attention of the authorities depending from which country the investors are using the wallet.
In order to protect NVO and the investors, the NVO team decided to create the NVOS who's value will be fixed at 0.99$. On the legal plan, as the price of NVOS will be lower then 1$, it's processing will be considered as a gift, which will keep it legal, like faucets.

If you have questions about the volumes, please visit this link : http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
You willfind a list of exchanges with their daily volume, you could then have an idea of the future volume of NVO.

What a long explanation,, now i'm understand about NVO and NVOS
and Good Luck for this project

At least my long post was usefull, thanks for the morale up.
I am here to help you, so if you have questions do not hesitate.

I would like to thank you for the questions you asked, and the awesome feedbacks, it is really good for the team's morale. Thanks

Much needed App.

SAFE is the biggest potential disruptor to the status quo in crypto (and data in general), so you can count me in if you're on that train Wink.

Exciting project... yay!

Thanks a lot for your support, welcome to the thread, just a question, haven't we met on the safe network forum ?
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale] NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet on: May 15, 2017, 05:22:50 PM
So this is a decentralized exchange project?

Yes it is a decentralized exchange with multi crypto, feature rich wallet.

This wallet supports BTC, ETH and XRP. XRP requires a deposit first as usual.

very nice wallet platform. however, the disadvantage is the presence of a limited number serve. good luck.  Cheesy

There will be a lot more, as this release is a demo with limited features. The plugin system will allow to add most of the cryptos in an "on demand" style.
