4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Reason BTC must be so slow? on: May 03, 2021, 01:34:58 PM
Bitcoin needs a lot of working to do in the future, no doubt about that, but it is still the best investment, if you look at it as an investment and not a currency, for a currency it is terrible. high fees etc.

7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it the virus or the treatment that affects mental health? on: February 14, 2021, 12:24:27 AM
I don't know if it's real and true, but I have heard that most of the people who died from the virus were in hospitals, most of the survivors were actually in their homes. one can say that being in a hospital affects your mental health by itself alone, of course the treatment in the hospital is another thing entirely.
However, I do think that when you are ill, your body doesn't work properly, including your emotions, the brain doesn't function very well when you are sick.

Now add all the drama related to this virus, all the negative news, the mere knowledge about the pandemic, and seeing how this virus is killing people all over the world is enough to affect your mental health. though having hope that you are going to be OK works too, but what they give you as medicine in the hospital is another factor in getting better sooner.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Valentines Day on: February 14, 2021, 12:08:16 AM
Happy Valentine's day! of course, anyone would appreciate gifts, but receiving them in Bitcoin would be another thing to appreciate. hopefully in the future you learn not to gamble your coins. one thing to remember, there is no point in gambling when you can simply appreciate what you have and enjoy your life. gambling would only bring you regrets.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: February 13, 2021, 10:06:01 PM
But why not buy ETH? I think eth is way better than dogecoin though, maybe his next step is going to be eth, if he does that the price of eth would go up, a shame I sold my eth Huh

12  Other / Meta / Re: Do you click on signatures? on: February 13, 2021, 07:58:18 PM
Well, if I need a service and if I find a good and legitimate service provider, why not? when you actually need a service related to crypto, this is the place to come and search for what you need. I have used a few services advertised in signatures, so yes, signatures are good if they provide a good and useful service, they are bad if they are advertising scam coins and shit coins.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Destroying Bitcoin on: February 10, 2021, 08:17:01 PM
Bitcoin is a free market, some big investors come to get their share of the profit and will continue to do so, after they are gone, others will come and do the same, whilst we the people could always keep using crypto and make sure to benefit from it, there is no destruction when there are billions of people in the world. of course, there will be major dumps, they just want to exit and cash out, that doesn't mean crypto is going to crash entirely.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About people that bought too early [and lost them] on: January 28, 2021, 06:53:20 PM
Even now there are people who don't believe in Bitcoin but are waiting for the market to see if it's profitable to enter or not. many people bought or mined in the first years, now they don't have any coins left. even if you sell your coins now, you will have no coins in the future. the secret of Bitcoin is in holding for long long time. the legend of HODLING.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did the bitcoin fall? on: January 26, 2021, 08:20:44 AM
There will be more price drop in the future, it's the nature of Bitcoin, or let me say the free market with a decentralized coin. when you realize the nature of Bitcoin, you will see that price changes, volatility is a part of the system. it actually sweetens the whole thing for investors and especially day traders.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 25, 2021, 11:16:37 AM
It is actually possible to happen, did you know that the internet is under the US's control and they can shut it down any time they want?
I think an admiral is the manager in charge of the internet, they can do whatever they want, whenever they want if things go bad, things will go bad for Bitcoin too, Bitcoin will not be the only thing affected by that though.
Don't know if the Starlink project is also under the control of the US government or not, if it's not, then Bitcoin could use that internet.
17  Other / Meta / Re: Public request to Theymos for a name change on: January 25, 2021, 10:50:57 AM

Give this man his change of user name please.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point did you realise that Bitcoin was a failed project? on: January 24, 2021, 04:50:48 AM
I knew from the start that Bitcoin is not enough for everybody's daily use, it has high fees, slow network in terms of confirming transactions and has small block size, Bitcoin could be used for big players, it's not really enough for mass adoption. there could be things done to fix it, such as increasing the block size and using the lightning network, but I doubt that all the people adopt that idea.
Though Bitcoin is not a failed project at all.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011? on: January 23, 2021, 03:56:06 AM
Well, for myself, I regret I didn't buy Bitcoin in 2016 when I first started to know about it. I'm sure that many people regret not buying before 2018. in 2011 not many people knew about Bitcoin.
