sure will. I plan on working on it with raistlinthewiz. we're starting off with basic getwork support and then expanding as we go further. hopefully we can get merge mining support added to it aswell

that wont happen. if he comes back its 1) his right to say as he wished, its up to the commnity who they follow (obvs zack as weve seen since literally the beginning of here) 2) he wouldnt lead it to a bad fate.

@Tommo no merged mining support in stratum this far. only software i know capable of it is eloipool. i know theres a WIP on merged mining but i tried it and it fails completely for me.

Aah ok, I was wondering if that was the case, seems like something that would be more widely publicised if stratum natively supported it. I found a guide for setting up merged mining using poolserverj, but its a complete change of architecture compared to my current pool setup. Not to mention merged mining seems to consist of a Bitcoin/Namecoin combination, both of which have very high difficulty, far too high for TomPool.

yup. hopefully one of us can get the job done but I don't know when since its possible i'll be moving away from stratum to a custom pool server (fork of coinium (WIP that im contributing to and may be able to add Merged Mining to there)) so far the only merge mineable coins are:

namecoin(high diff)
devcoin (high diff)
i0coin (high diff)
ixcoin (high diff)
groupcoin(high diff?)
coiledcoin (killed in 51% attack)

ok i agree jag is very poor communication wise. but at the end of the day even zack came to a dead end with every option even mullick in the end. jag's solution was to wait on mullick which im sure many people would have done including me. Yes, zack's work got adt v2 going but thats besides the case that adt v1 is jag's coin and if he doesnt want it closed then it cant be. if adt v2 is supposed to be the new community run coin im guessing u guys want it to be. then everyone should stop bumping this thread and let it get buried.

gotta argue here though. i've known jag before zack and 1/2 the guys here. i've also followed this thread closely. my personal opinion is the community has followed zack no matter what jag has said. so you cant blame him for not replying and not getting involved anymore. as many have said, they put zack in charge so zack should run adt with what he has the ability to do. end of story
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: !Urgent! MMC POOL SET UP NEEDED - 0.20 BTC reward on: February 26, 2014, 04:07:04 PM
quarkbar is a standard algo. mmc however isn't. I built quark support into stratum so anyone can do it. I however haven't done the same to mmc since It requires a more specialised software and its libs aren't available in pure python or C

Not mined here but seeing a pool close is sad. (i'm an altcoin pool op myself)

Maybe this would help you to open a mini pool piggybacking off the p2pool net?

Maged does have a point. You were on the dev team but made yourself lead dev when jag dissapeared?

if it not normal for the person 2nd in command to take over when whoever is 1st in command is out of the picture ?

He's not said he's out of the picture has he?

Gutted.
being ddos'd right now we'll be back soon dw
