1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinpaprika - Your Advanced Cryptocurrency Research Platform [OFFICIAL] on: December 04, 2022, 12:00:01 PM
We don't have apk on the site, just the one in the Google Play Store.
We don't know, if those apk on third party sites are malicious or not, we will consider, to post installation package onto the website.

From the time I last posted, we have introduced many new features including Sentiments Analysis, Blockchain Analysis, Liquidity all over website, Confidence Score.
There is also new API with paid options now: https://coinpaprika.com/api/ (but free option is still there too - just for commercial usage you need to buy at least Starter plan).

Well, as @gjhiggins mentioned in 2019, I spent a lot of of time on SLM previously (May 2017 - June 2019), and was disappointed with Barrystyles responses (or lack of them), although Graham have made some improvements to SLM code based on what Barry have done. @gavarillo77 is the one that made contributions, you can ask him.

I was immersed with other project, where I'm currently a lead research analyst (coinpaprika) and ending my education, so due to no time, and other things I almost, almost forgot about Slim, but I always have wallets on my PC, so I just wouldn't forget ofc.

I will try to support network with some minimal effort, cuz I don't have more time, and also - I agree with with what @gjhiggins said in 2019.

Dunno, as I know he just didn't do it.
Maybe he refunded people, but I didn't see it.

Hi @gjhiggins long time no see. I saw that you pasted paprika link on telegram. Still doing something around SLM?

It looks like it's working ok.

300 kh/s with Ryzen 3900 Cheesy almost doubled performance of my old Ryzen 1700...

That's great!

I've heard SLM is one of the most profitable coins to mine currently.

By the way, weren't it you who was thinking to set up a pool? Or I've got it wrong?

I was trying to get pool with some guy, but I think he scammed some btc from community unfortunately, and didn't do anything (like it was working for a few days only, and was unstable).
Solo mining should easy enough for now.

Well as I was here from 2017, I know a lot of quirks of SLM from way back.
I will update Slimcoin AIO package for Windows. As I see my old package doesn't work anymore, probably due to new version of client.
Still those synchronization is pain in the ... Ah, if it would really get an update to anything newer than this 0.5 btc codebase, it could at least be somehow functioning without hiccups.

I think you'll need to compile v0.6 if not I should have a compiled version (I can send it to you if you need me to).

An upgrade is indeed needed, that's the key issue we have to solve.

I have 0.6 version from compiled by Graham.
Besides is there still problem with mining on 0.6 version? I had such problems when I tried it 2 years.

Will look later into it, cuz I'm after work.

I'm trying to synchronize my wallet, even tho I had several upgrades and even NVMe drive now - it's still working like it used to work xD

Sorry for such long time being away.
I was too much hard worked up with other projects and education (still I am... but finishing it off).
I see that you have salvaged site and placed on different domain.
Good, I forgot to do it completely.
I have changed data a bit on coinpaprika to have new data about domain and discord server: https://coinpaprika.com/coin/slm-slimcoin/ - it has all up-to-date now.

The intention of this thread is to speculatively forecast the price of Bitcoin via subjectively using the Elliott Wave principle.

Analysis is purely guesswork with an endeavour to provide sporadic fortnightly updates.

Previous thread: 2018 Cryptocurrency Crash (Elliott Wave)

in fact it is also true of the Dow theory. Anything that grows too fast will fall down quickly. It takes place anywhere in your life. The internet has also once dominated the stock market for a time when businesses were overpriced. But when the bubble burst, everything was reset. so do not invest in things that have been fomo too much, the risk is very high while the profit is very low.

Actually after 20 years - Internet and tech ones again dominate the world.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Historical trade data on: May 22, 2020, 10:16:08 AM
Thanks. I know these sources already, I was more digging into the internet archives, if somebody have trade data (or even average or close daily data) from BTC-E, where LTC have started trading on LTC/USD and LTC/BTC markets. For BTC/USD there is BraveNewCoin Liquid Index for Bitcoin - so it's much easier to see the charts (from Mt.gox).

But with LTC it's much, much harder, as I see.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Historical trade data on: May 22, 2020, 08:23:48 AM
Hello.

I wanted to ask, if anyone of you have historical trade data for Bitcoin (from 2009-2010), Litecoin (from 2011) or any other old cryptocurrency.
It can be in the form of CSV, best if it could OHLCV (daily). Maybe some old API endpoint(s) that are still working and reporting old trade data?
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beat CoinMarketCap on: February 27, 2020, 06:19:42 PM
I would disagree. I think Coinpaprika is having much more information, and it has curated content.
It's much more in-depth, then CMC. Dunno, if anything beats it at level of details + number of coins described.

I'll try today to update some contents of site, there are a few things to update.

@d5000 - would you review it later?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: August 20, 2019, 09:09:32 PM
Yeah, it worked once and now again a problem. Strange really strange.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: August 20, 2019, 08:52:57 PM
Remember 0.6 had BDB 6.1 updated, so you need all version of wallet or import privkey from old wallet.dat - it's not backward compatible, only from 4.8 (old versions) to 6.1 (0.6 version).

Edit: after restart of client it started to send properly coins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: August 20, 2019, 08:48:55 PM
Oh, ok I have this version and it seems I have a problem too...
Strange, because it worked last time I sent funds. But I can confirm there is a problem sometimes with sending...
Will have to check on other vers.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: August 20, 2019, 08:21:17 PM
There are actually 2 versions of 0.6 - one is working ok, and second is broken. Give checksums of your client to see, if we have the same.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: August 20, 2019, 07:02:46 PM
Restart client? Or try other version of 0.6, I will see.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: August 20, 2019, 08:50:31 AM
Network stabilized, exchanges are back as I see. Also I see more connections lately.
