1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker games that are providing free plays to earn real money on: July 30, 2020, 01:03:04 PM
pokerstars and everestpoker also have tournaments forfree where you can play and earn money and start scalating tournaments little by little, I have a friend who earns a couple thousand dollars each money and lives only out of poker

though it's quite stressfull life, he smokes a lot and plays 9 tables at once.
Lol, you really think we are going to believe you? There is no way he is earning thousands of dollars from playing free tournaments. Others are saying they give like 1k sat to 20k sat maximum, which is no way near thousands of dollars.
Or probably your friend is abusing the free offer and probably breaking their tos by using multiple accounts to abuse their free tournament.

It seems to me that this 'friend' could once have started his career with free tournaments, but I also agree with you and will never believe that someone earns a couple of thousand $ without playing for real money.
His friend seems to have done something he doesn't know how he did and won $1000 by just playing poker.

Then take note, you said it's a free tournament, how in a free tournament can he gain a lot? It's absolutely unbeilavable. And if you have a winning streak on poker, there's no easy way to gain big cash on free tournaments. But if it's true then, that's really amazing 'cause he's very lucky.

Totally agree. Mission is imposible. At all.

They often say so (read 'lie') to attract a lot of people to a particular casino. After all, you will ask exactly where he won such big money.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 16, 2020, 12:45:35 PM

There is a call to resume and there is a call to suspend this year season, there are so many teams in the NBA compared to other sports so the infection is very likely and besides these players are transient, they go from one location to another, the risk is too high in NBA compared to other contact sports like Boxing and UFC and Wrestling, but they have experts who will study this, let's just hope, that they will consider safety over profit.

What I wanted to see in this season is, they will end it as soon as possible without them getting infected. They already discussed this things many times in their meetings. They will need this season to end even if it's not the usual NBA season ending we know. They don't need to think what they might loss in this season because there are always next season if God's will. there, they can always give it all they're best without worrying on getting infected. I hope that time will come next season.

I also hope that they will make the right decision taking care of the health of the players in the first place.

But I missed NBA game so much that of course I will wait for a positive decision about the season this year.

4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think eSport gambling will become more popular than normal Sport betting? on: June 29, 2020, 11:22:21 AM
It seems to me that it all depends on the fact when the sport will resume its activities to the full, if at all possible in the near future due to global epidemic.

Betting on e-sports has its own audience, which was before quarantine, now it has increased because many drew attention to it for lack of alternatives.

What can I say? Let's wait for July and NBA season, friends  Cheesy

The main clarification: will there be any problems with the withdrawal of real money from these sites? Has anyone encountered this already?

I have withdrawn from Swcpoker without depositing anything. No questions asked. The minimum payout is also very low. I haven't been able to withdraw from any other sites yet. Maybe ones that have reached the minimum threshold would share their experience with other sites.

Thanks for your answer. Then it is credible and I can make a try here

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 17, 2020, 10:03:29 AM
Yes, there are always such people. I know that people gather privately in closed online poker rooms and play poker for money there.

Others started betting on eSports. In principle, this is everyone’s business, the main thing is to take care of yourself. You cannot tell others what to do.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 23, 2020, 12:09:08 PM
You are absolutely right, most people tolerate coronavirus without serious complications at all. I read that different varieties of it are now appearing in different countries of the world. But people are recovering and remain the same, everything is okay.
People are recovering but in overall, the number of infected is really huge.
It would be alright if some would not die, but they die also while some recovers, we are talking of almost 2 million people that are already infected all over the world, this is a serious threat although some have recovered.

Didn’t understand the phrase: "players who went through corona will never be the same as a player"? Today everything and everybody are on the verge of stress, try not to sow panic, but be calm and follow recommendations.
We will never know until they will start playing again, that's just a speculation or theory for now.

Well, yes, but you know this is very strange to me. People spend a really huge sum of money for casinos, bets, sports, space flights, politics, and when humanity was confronted with a virus, it became a worldwide catastrophe. I am sure that we need to take care of the immune system of our body, make up for the deficits. And I am very sorry that people are dying, I hope this will end soon.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 14, 2020, 02:13:16 PM
It is not just that. Some doctors say players who went through corona will never be the same as a player.
Will never be the same as a player? Are you saying that the players ability will be affected by this corona virus that is why they will never be the same player? How it will happen ? They can get their healthy body back if they just make their immune system strong so that it can fight against the disease. After that, they are the same person, but a healthier one.

Coronavirus is a new strain of pneumonia. If you get sick with it without complications (which happens to most people who get sick), there will be no harm to your health in the future!
That's why I'm sure that the players will be all right!

casinos are shutting down...so I'm looking for online alternatives

It remains only an online casino, but it will never replace the atmosphere of live casino. But nothing can be done yet..

I agree with you! I'm newbies and write a simple message and it was deleted. Why? there was no ads, nothing strange. I'm just new there.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new policy on miner's fee? on: April 24, 2017, 08:51:37 AM
Oh!  Okay,  I'm getting the whole idea in one piece now. I've been receiving from faucets a lot and I'll have to set limits for those i haven't. I've also been doing a lot of minute transactions and i guess i should have taken time to work out something practical.  Thanks so much for breaking this down practically
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new policy on miner's fee? on: April 24, 2017, 08:27:58 AM
I tried to send once a higher number of transactions (+30) in a few minutes to different addreses, and the starting recommended fees were about $0.15 for the first one. I sent the first and having that number in my head, I kept sending to other addresses without ever looking again at the fees.. only to find out at the 11th transaction that the fees just kept getting higher and higher, so the last one did cost $0.94 in terms of fees. Looking at all the transactions in a row the fees were like $0.15 for the first, $0.19 for the second, $0.24 for the third and so on until I reached that sum. Then I sent the next ones by choosing my own wanted transaction fee, which was $0.20 for each. They got confirmed in a few dozens of minutes..

Whenever you send a transaction, double check the fees. $4 for your small transaction is too much.. just put $0.2 like I always do, and you should be doing fine.
Thanks,  i didn't want to tamper with the transaction fees since it appears I'm doing that at my own risk.  I couldn't afford the money being lost in the blockchain or not confirmed as i didn't have extra at that time.  I still want to know how one manages to gather 'dust' in the process of transaction. I've been using the wallet for about 2 years now and i still intend to have these bits of bitcoin transactions here and there from time to time. I want to avoid the  'dust' that leads to issues as this

Thanks everyone,  at least I'm receiving answers that doesn't seem automated.  Here's the transaction id

It's not clear to me what additional answers you are looking for, but given the size of your transaction, a $4 fee is not unexpected.

One of the drawbacks of the 1 MB limit, and the rise in transaction fees that it has caused, is that a large portion of the bitcoin supply is now effectively unspendable. When looking at your transaction, I see several outputs whose values are less than the cost to spend them.

I still don't understand,  how can i limit the size of data generated or size of transaction,  prevent future occurrence or anything that I'll understand in simple terms. You're assuming i can interpret the figures and terminologies. How do i raise the limits from 1Mb? (i wasn't even aware there's a limit).  I'm thinking of having another wallet entirely if this one will continue to generate high fees in the course of usage

I wanted to send $9 worth of bitcoin through my blockchain wallet and was shocked to be charged a $4 miner fee.  I adjusted it a bit using advanced send but was sceptical when the familiar message that it might not be confirmed popped up. I didn't want to risk that so i sent it.  It still took 21 hours to be confirmed and i raised a ticket when i discovered $0.04 was displayed  as miner fee while $13 was deducted for the whole transaction, meaning $4 was charged. Then why the display of $0.04?
I got an apology as reply and explanation that miner's fee are based on file size of the transaction among other factors and not on the actual value of transfer and the appropriate
miner's fee are automatically included based on dynamic fee calculation.
I wasn't satisfied with the explanation and still could not figure out what went wrong. I have never encountered that since I've been sending through blockchain. I wish someone could really explain this.
I don't think there's any new fee or policy being implemented, so I'm surprised that you're experiencing something like this. I'm not entirely sure what it is that could have gone wrong. As for $0.04 being a miner's fee, that would explain the 21 hours it took to confirm the transaction, but I can't figure out how it would deduct $13 and list the miners fee as low as it was.
Blockchain is good about this kind of stuff, could it have been a user setting that you changed that ended up breaking the whole system or something?
Other than my Security settings, i don't really fiddle with any other thing. I'm not that savvy.  Even the advanced option i use it with much caution
