781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Come Back? on: April 24, 2018, 03:32:46 PM
Cry Cry I lost a lot from Ponzi Hyip and ICO lending. I am currently holding some top 20 coin. The amount of money I owed is so great, I had to mortgage my house, I did not know what to do anymore, please help me advice if I should  continue in the Crytopia this or not?
You should research carefully before investing. Try to find some good ICO or wait for the market to be green again. I hope you can recover your money soon.
782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My first day of trading on: April 24, 2018, 03:27:24 PM
A couple days ago I transfered enough from my bank account to buy 1 Bit coin.  While waiting for the $ to make it from the bank to the exchange I had $75.00 invested so could use it to practice with.  Keep in mind that I had no experience with bit coin trading and my past day trading did not go well.

Today I saw that SC (Siacoin) was above 10% and volume was above 10,000.  It was also very active pumping up and down.  I did four buy and sell trades, not aiming for much more than 5% profit on each one and increased my $75.00 to $91.00.  It was a great leaning experience.  Also very humbling because on the first trade I made a mistake and lucked out.

Scott
My first day was 2 years ago with Monero, earned 20$. I was so happy, that was the first time i earned up to 20$ per day.
783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: April 24, 2018, 03:21:14 PM
I’ve been wanting and taking my time to enter the trade game. But before I do, just wanting to know the prod and cons of having a lot of new traders coming in.

Trading is much more safer and easy to learn. I’ve been preparing myself for months now and wanted to start my journey here in bitcointalk. But like me? New Traders are comming in fast. Will it be a good sign to our world of crypocurrency? Or will it affect the competition inside?
As we can see, when Bitcoin price pumps, there were many new traders joined. Then when the price went down, they were scared and sell their bitcoin, make the price drop so much.
784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How helpful do you think it would be trading on a multiple exchanges... on: April 24, 2018, 03:14:34 PM
How helpful do you think it would be trading on a multiple exchanges from a single app or platform powered by AI?
I prefer trading on multiple exchanges than a single app because i can choose exchange which has better price. AI sounds interesting but i don't believe it.
785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader Future life? on: April 24, 2018, 03:11:08 PM
How is trader life in the future?A trader is the country's wealth?
I don't think someone will be a trader forever because trading is not good for old people. I am going to stop trading at age of 30, at that time i will have enough money to start my own business.

787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will destroy the bitcoin? on: April 24, 2018, 02:56:53 PM
Bitcoin appeared in 2009, eight years, the total value of the circulation of bitcoins up and down 200 billion US dollars. Bitcoin was declared "dead" by the media countless times. However, it is undeniable that the media has a huge influence. Therefore, with each media claim that "bitcoin is dead", the price of bitcoin will drop sharply. The magic is that every time Bitcoin is alive, its price has hit a new high all the way. In other words, in the face of so-called drug poisoning amateur media reports, bitcoin gradually developed "resistance", negative media coverage for the impact of bitcoin prices getting smaller and smaller. What will eventually destroy bitcoin? If there is a force that can destroy bitcoin, it must be human greed.
I think that governments rules can destroy Bitcoin if they decide to ban bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Hacking is threatening too.

789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: April 24, 2018, 02:51:16 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I don't think so, not matter what are they using bitcoin for, but it help attract more and more people about bitcoin. It will be more like a currency in future.

792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoins goal to end governments? on: April 24, 2018, 11:03:13 AM
I have seen many people say that Bitcoin will end governments.

But do we really want that?

And if yes how would things like infrastructure be provided without a government? (This is just an example, you can discuss any issue you see fit for this topic)
I think not yet, it still can be affected by goverments and there are many things to do to make it better: transaction speed, fees, security,...
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: April 24, 2018, 10:58:18 AM
Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?
Yes, because internet can be accessed from space and you can control your bitcoin with internet access but it could be harder because of slow connection.
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you encourage friends and family to invest in crypto? on: April 24, 2018, 06:11:29 AM
I'm someone who loves to share.  When I discovered blockchain technology a while ago, I wanted to tell everyone.  I didn't stop with my friends and family.  I told colleagues at work, my doctor, and just about anyone who would listen.  Some who got in early made money and were very happy.  But others waited until after seeing the massive bull run to invest, and bought at the top.  Now I keep my mouth shut because I can't control how people invest.  Even though blockchain will change the world, there are still good and bad investments.  How about you?  Do you encourage others to invest in crypto?
Yes i often do it but i teach them basic knowledge before they join. It's good for crypto when there are more people join it.
795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader or Gamblers. on: April 24, 2018, 06:07:57 AM
In coin trading, you are your only enemy. There are no rules in this arena, only you facing you, and you are both winner and loser.
People may think that they are fighting with the market, other investors, or those scammers shark that always have their eyes on your money. In fact, you are fighting against yourself. You are the one who made the decision. You can decide yourself to lose or win, trust me.

As human nature, we all want to make a bunches and make it fast; too much temptation that incites us to gamble with our account.
In the end, only you can chase off the temptation to follow the plan.
I prefer trading than gambling because if you have good knowledge of market, you will have more chance to win than a good strange.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buying and Holding the only way? on: April 24, 2018, 05:53:55 AM
i tried to calculate how much would i make from bitcoin mining using an antminer s9, and i don't think it's worth it for me as the cost of electricity is high where i live, which is in the UK (it's 20 cents approx), i make like $300 profit a year. and obviously i can't use faucets as that will take years to get one bitcoin. so is the only way to even get any value from bitcoin is to buy it and hold it on for another few years? but it is a risky investment due to the price. or should i invest in new currencies that are cheap right now and have potential to grow to $4k a coin?  Huh
You can earn bitcoin by mining, earn from ptc/gpt/offers website. I am earning bitcoin by doing signature campaigns, it is a good source.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still exist in your country? on: April 24, 2018, 05:39:53 AM
I wonder, that the other country didnt accept bitcoin.
My country doesn't accept Bitcoin but we can hold, buy sell bitcoin but we are not allowed to use it instead of fiat money.
I hope them will accept bitcoin soon.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Holding Bitcoin affect the stocks on: April 24, 2018, 05:27:52 AM
People nowadays used to hold bitcoin instead than to circulate it, how may if affect in the stock or volume of the bitcoins?
I don't think it will affect the stock or volume of bitcoin because many people trade while holding and it helps increase bitcoin's price.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency kills people on: April 23, 2018, 05:11:50 PM
Ive read an article about Bill Gates saying that cryptocurrencies kills people. He explained that crypto provokes people to hide thier financial transactions from the government, and revolutionizing terrorism, financial crime etc. Some people use crypto to buy drugs, bombs, guns that are use for drug dealing and terrorism that kills people 'in a fairly direct way'

I think Gates is somehow right about this. But i think it depends on the people who are using cryptocurrency, if they will use it in a good way or in a bad way. What do you think?

Yes Gates is somehow right about this but there are many advantages that bitcoin bring to us too.
