821  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would be the effect in price of Bitcoin if Mid. East will adopt it ? on: April 17, 2018, 01:50:00 PM
If Bitcoin will be used for trading oil what price do you expect?
If it happen,i think that it will be easy to reach 100.000 usd because the price will affect on oil price, and everybody want it to be stable; and it is more trusted, it's value will go up.

823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: China May Legalize ICO Soon on: April 17, 2018, 12:29:20 PM
According to https://t.me/oneminute_crypto_news which translated the source from Sina, a Chinese media website, that in a conference held by Chinese official web media, People's Web, a famous scholar Dong Yang released that Chinese SEC is conducting the legal research to legalize the ICO and the ICO will become a legit tool of crowdfunding soon.

I agreed that Dong Yang is not a high-level official and he is a professor at Renmin University who is active in the crypto space. I think the focus of the news should be:

1. The Chinese SEC is revisiting the crowdfunding tool;
2. The so-call legit ICO may actually become a tool with heavy regulation in the cryptocurrency space.

So, please wait and see.

Wow if this is real, it must be a good new for crypto world. Hope they will welcome crypto so the price will go up soon.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: April 17, 2018, 11:12:16 AM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

I think not yet, Bitcoin has became popular, many people use it for different purposes but we still see some disadvantage: hacking, banned by some country.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning BITCOIN Scam... Be Cautious! on: April 16, 2018, 11:18:06 AM
One of the Major Reasons why some Government sees Bitcoin as a threat to their country is because people might use it as an opportunity against some other people who wanted to earn and make a living. Just recently in the Philippines a couple was arrested because of scam, they uses a pyramid scheme and baited people to invest via electronic money. It started when Bitcoin is at its hype, giving them the chance to use it as front.

For our safety and security, please read this article and be aware. https://www.rappler.com/nation/199915-filipino-couple-amasses-millions-bitcoin-scam

Hope this could help everyone and let us be cautious. Earning money is not that easy as what other think of it. It requires patience, dedication, determination and focus to reach your goal.

It depends on how people use it. We can use it to trade, send payment, exchange for real money and many people use it to make ponzi/ scam website to steal other people's money.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why people think that bitcoin is buble coin ? on: April 16, 2018, 05:58:48 AM
after 10 years has been past of bitcoin but still people think bitcoin is bublecoin , why ?
Because sometime, the price pump too much and go down fast, like previous time, it reached 20000 usd and now it is 7000 usd.
Wait for the time when market is stabler.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you own 1 Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2018, 05:42:55 AM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

EDIT2018:
In 2017 it was 51% YES / 49% NO.
I'll leave voting open and since we are no longer in 2017 I'll change the subject to "Do you own 1 Bitcoin?"

Luckily, i bought 1 bitcoin when it was 2000 usd and now i still trying to earn more because i believe that it will pump again soon.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Coinbase and other Wallet services take all of our coins and run away? on: April 15, 2018, 11:04:04 AM
In the future there will be billions of dollars stored in Wallets, what if one day they decide to stop and shut down their services and transfer all the money to their own wallet and confirm the transactions and convert all of their coins(Bitcoin and any other Altcoins) to USD and disappear?
How can we get our money back? whom can we sue? how can we prove how much coins we had in their wallet?
They are registered company, mostly based in US, Canada so it like a bank scam your money, i think that it is impossible.
Anyway, if you are still worry about them, you should use blockchain wallet.
829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: has trading become difficult? on: April 10, 2018, 04:28:14 PM
These days the bitcoin prices are rising and falling over 1000$ in just minutes and have become highly unpredictable way more than before.
Does this make trading more difficult right now?
It would be more difficult and dangerous for newbie, but for me, this is a good chance to earn profit. Short trade is a good option now to reduce risk.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Governments Kill Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 12:40:00 PM
The latest news is that the US government is look closely at Bitcoin. A number of governments such as Russia and China are also planning to issue their own digital currencies. They clearly see a financial threat from Bitcoin.

What do you think? Can governments kill Bitcoin and replace it with their own digital/crypto currency?
They won't and can not kill bitcoin but they can make bitcoin less effectively or do something to control it.
They ban ICO, exchanger, trading,...
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ONECOIN ponzi scheme! on: April 10, 2018, 12:30:04 PM
The Central Bank of Samoa has launched an investigation into the notorious OneCoin cryptocurrency investment scheme, which is a Bulgaria based pyramid scheme. OneCoin has been subject to numerous investigations by multiple countries like Italy, Finland and India.

This pyramid scheme has already been fined with 2.59 million euros by Italy in 2017. Now, the Samoan officials are investigating if the country’s people have been defrauded.

Last week, the governor of Samoa Central Bank, Maiava Atalina Ainu’u-Enari told the Samoa Observer, “[OneCoin] is a snare that is used to catch people’s money.” It has also been reported by the local media that Samoan church ministers might be a part of this scheme as well though there is no clarity on the same.
Onecoin has been a famous pyramid schemes for a long time. In my country, many people invested in this coin and lost their money.

Many greedy user join scam Ico, hyip and got scammed. Then the news appear on Tv, News paper. Bad news appear more than good news, so the goverments don't see too much advantages of bitcoin.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Twitter account @bitcoin has been suspended!!!!!!!!! on: April 10, 2018, 12:19:38 PM
Finally, Rodger is taking a good rest and we are not being annoyed. Thanks to What's on Crypto for sharing this amazing news for Bitcoin fans

Twitter has suspended @Bitcoin account for violating its rules (perhaps: trademark abuse, impersonation, etc.) reports https://t.me/whatsoncrypto

Twitter, Facebook, Google and other social media seem to trying to ban Bitcoin. They ban advertisements that related to cryptocurrency.
This might effect on Bitcoin price.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: April 10, 2018, 12:13:40 PM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
In my country, i haven't seen any bitcoin advertisement too but saw so much news about scam ICO, hackers that related to bitcoin and crytocurrency.
But it's a good idea, let people see advantage of bitcoin.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: April 10, 2018, 06:09:37 AM
Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks

836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country you want to rule over crypto industry? on: April 10, 2018, 05:59:59 AM
The G20 or the 20 strongest countries in the world recently had a meeting about cryptocurrency. If ever Bitcoin and altcoins will be legalized worldwide and will be highly accepted, which country would you like to lead it? I mean, the country wherein the main office about cryoto regulations will be built and the major country which will usually hosts events and meetings about cryptocurrency.
1 vote for Switzerland. I think they will welcome crytocurrency and it will be accepted quickly.
There will be more people join crytocurrency world.
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $50,000 this year?? on: April 10, 2018, 05:42:43 AM
Solid bitcoiners what do you think about this. What would be the possibility that this will happen. https://smartereum.com/2404/bitcoin-price-prediction-2018-can-cryptocurrency-hit-50000-sat-apr-7/
20.000-30.000 usd is a good price for bitcoin. 50.000 usd make people think that it's a balloon. but it need to recover the price soon, so the market will be more stable.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction by December 2018 on: April 10, 2018, 05:32:03 AM
As We all know, the crypto market has been on a downward trend since the second week of january.
Bitcoin market is still below the $10k mark which it was at the 1st week of February .
What do you guys think would be the price of BTC by December
Do you think bitcoin has the capability to hit the $30,000 mark before the end of 2018 or go below $6000?

I beleive that the price will hit 30.000 usd or more. Last year, it dropped too then pump to 20.000 usd. There is very less chance to drop bellow 6000 usd.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: April 09, 2018, 05:20:59 PM
What will happen??

No one will have the BTC address. Hence will them isolated?

In FIAT, people can handover money to someone.. So, i predict BTC will be disappeared gradually.
I made a paper wallet in put it in a place in my house with instruction how to sell bitcoin for real money. It's for my parents.
If not, the coin wil die with me because it will be in the network and nobody can use it forever.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we can do to make legal bitcoin in our country? on: April 09, 2018, 11:23:04 AM
As we all see is very difficult with the corporate ,government and bitcoin. do you think we can do something to bring any change on it so we can make legal bitcoin in our country?
I think it is possible to make legal bitcoin in all over the world, but now there are so much problem with bitcoin: scam projects, hackers,...
If we can solve, bitcoin will have a brightest future.
