1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 31, 2019, 09:50:32 AM
What happened with them? As I remember they promised new project for business, and even said that they have some partnerships before New Year... And now after 6 month they have nothing?

If you too lazy or thick to check Waves Platform News & Announcements on Twitter, Facebook, Telegram or Discord, but can find the time to come here and bleat, that tells us more about you than the activity at Waves.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES PLATFORM VS ETH PLATFORM on: January 07, 2019, 04:02:45 PM
Both are good and platform based token. I think wave is a platform where you can issue a token in hour and it's very easy and the idea is very good. But unfortunately we don't see many use cases of waves. And where ethereum is the biggest platform based token. Most of the ico till now are based on ethereum. It is the most used and most popular platform ecosystem in this crypto market. If I have to choose I will always go for ethereum.

Where are all these ETH ICO's now?

A whitepaper and hyped non-compliant ICO doesn't make a use-case. Do you know anybody outside cryptocurrencies who has ever heard of a product or service built on Ethereum?

If a real use-case mass product really took off - the Ethereum network could not cope. In this regard, Waves Platform, with the Worlds fastest decentralised public blockchain has the advantage.

Ethereum should (and I think will) address the scalability issues as well as the toxic media issue of POW energy wastage. I guess Constantinople is a first step. Until that happens - ETH is most definitely playing catch-up. These other stupid forks, on the other hand, are not helping ETH at all.

Looks like the waves have not gone up this year.
2018 will be possible with increasing volume of transactions in the market ...

That was quite prescient. Waves Daily transaction count is regularly in the top5 range.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / According to Yahoo Finance, Waves is fastest public blockchain in World. on: December 26, 2018, 02:47:46 PM
Is this true?

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/enterprise-blockchain-gets-boost-investors-110000262.html

Apparently, since December 2017 (WavesNG) - I would have thought Waves would be top 3 platform.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES has come A LONG WAY in the last two and half years! on: December 13, 2018, 04:48:49 PM
Waves still need more time to develop.
People will eventually get into waves and its platform.
They will rise in the market and i think this one could make it to top 20 or higher!

It will carry on developing, ceaselessly. Check out Blocktivity https://www.blocktivity.info/ Waves is always in Top 10.

However it is probably in top 3, maybe top, technically advanced blockchains currently.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES has come A LONG WAY in the last two and half years! on: December 13, 2018, 11:45:26 AM
I notice it's gone from 50 to 25 place in CoinMarketCap and, apart from fiatcoins, is just about only thing pumping.

Any big news?

Last week they released the mobile 2 app - I checked it out and in my view is the most polished professional crypto app I have yet seen.

This week I think they make some big announcement about their Vostok project - Vostok is the consulting wing of Waves methinks.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum - Peak Desperation! on: August 28, 2018, 08:41:56 AM
no need to go down to 10 $, I keep buying it if ethereum arrives at a price of 50 $, although I'm not sure Ethereum will get to that price, but this is the crypto world, anything can happen here, even very small coins can experience bullrun in just an instant

Yes, I agree. I think $30 is more likely as a stabilisation point. That's not to say that another bubble isn't possible if they solve their network problems and manage to hold on as the No. 1 ICO platform. That's a big if though.

It's interesting to note that a lot of people, now here, do not remember the time when other coins enjoyed similar levels of relative success as Ethereum - I am thinking NXT & Quark - and, unfortunately they still languish at very low levels of capitalisation.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum - Peak Desperation! on: August 28, 2018, 08:31:37 AM
The tone of the shills attempting to keep the Ethereum bubble inflated has changed markedly since the price of Ethereum fell under $300.

They still swamp BitcoinTalk Alt forums with their passive-aggressive threads and posts - predominantly in their own version of weird and poor English - but the tone has become a sort of desperate, pleading wishful thinking.

Get ready for $10 Etherium!

$10 is a bit harsh. I see Ethereum stabilising at around $30 - $3 Billion market cap seems like a fair market valuation for it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: August 27, 2018, 08:34:08 PM
there is no possible scenario for eth to go that price.. thousands of people buy immiedieatly very higher than 50$

Oh Dear!

Alts have bubbled high, stayed there for quite some time and then deflated - never to reach their ATH ever again!

Eth is no different.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: August 10, 2018, 02:03:10 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

For me, ETH is platform with smart contracts, waves is only tokens.

Waves smart contracts are easier to use and safer than ETH ERC20.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: July 10, 2018, 10:11:53 PM
I don't think there is anything on a market that can beat Ethereum. Ethereum has many unique features and has its own niche, plus there are much more projects that are based off Ethereum.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Fifa world cup will show any impact over BTC? on: June 16, 2018, 06:29:54 PM
Fifa world cup being held at Russia will reveal any impact over bitcoin market or will be nil...

No, it won't affect BTC but it might make Waves pump!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is going to accept crypto! on: June 11, 2018, 10:50:00 AM
Japan has legalized cryptocurrency, is it Russia next?Russia has a lot of cryptocurrency development agencies, and there are a lot of cryptocurrency followers, I think Russia will sooner or later legalize cryptocurrencies.

I agree. The main beneficiary will be Waves Platform via Vostok integration services.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 21, 2018, 10:03:38 AM
I think Waves are hidden gem. Many people don't even know how good it is or they don't know team's work well. Waves platform is at least as good as NEO which is excessively advertised and hyped. Is there any list of ICO's which will have Waves platform?

I agree with you on the hidden gem part and that most people do not know how good the tech of Waves is. Waves lacks under a good application which proves its mass capableness as so many projects do (also NEO). To shine out of such competitors like NEO or Ethereum there must be at least one good implementation.

I take it you haven't checked ot the RewardMob app on Android or IOS for mobile game tournaments where you can win prizes & crypto. They are mainstream ready now! They have plenty of users and there is always a tournament coming up soon.

In fact, most of the people on here, earning a few pittance coins for shilling or bounties could be making much more on RewardMob!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: May 20, 2018, 12:49:25 PM
I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!
I would say to split in 2 for 1. Invest more into ETH to get fast profit and less in Waves for long term. Both coins are promising and proved themself on market. So it is safe to say you will get great profit from both of them.

Keep 1 ETH

Sell 2 ETH and buy 240 WAVES approx.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: May 17, 2018, 09:46:25 AM
maybe waves will add more features on their platform and if that good it will definitely make increased value of waves

Waves already has the fastest established, distributed blockchain in the world.

Since Smart Contracts, It has all the features of all other blockchains put together.

New and interesting partnerships, collaborations and ICO's are happening frequently so, unlike the majority of other platforms/coins out there that mainly rely on a toxic mixture of hype, ignorance, manipulated volumes and little operating funds, the future for Waves is bright indeed.  Cheesy
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: May 15, 2018, 03:42:45 PM
Waves isn't getting much traction, I truly dont understand why. I was all-in before NG network release, but diversified after because nothing was happening prise wise. I still hold a chunk and will continue to hold. I think you will get burned if you sell everything and try to buy back later.

Sell, and regret, my friends.

Sell, and regret! Grin
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / **Crypto goes MAINSTREAM!-only WAVES PLATFORM has the POWER to DO IT?** on: May 15, 2018, 03:40:28 PM
Many coins/platforms make promises but most are vapour, hype or poorly executed.

Ethereum has many interesting capabilities but, even now, with little Tx volume on network, struggles to cope and is congested and expensive.

Other projects see centralisation as the best way to scale - the question with them is; Why not just invest in Ripple or MasterCard?

Only Waves has the blockchain, ready and established for some time, to capture and service a mainstream application.

With bulk transfer - 10000Tx/s are happening right now and the platform is ready to increase capacity by up to 10x if and when needed.

Many projects with eye on mass uptake are starting new applications or at least considering Waves as the default platform of choice.

You could say that the first mainstream application on the Waves Platform is the decentralised exchange - £2,000,000 daily volume and growing each and every day!

The days when you could say, "I was into crypto when Waves were only $7 - I bought a bag and now I have a lambo and a beachfront apartment" are rapidly coming to an end, my friends! Don't pass this by, or you will regret for a long, long time!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 15, 2018, 03:19:28 PM
I just tried RewardMob - it's so cool!

Thousands and thousands of users all competing on their mobiles! I will definitely look out for the ICO.

It's not very often, in crypto, you get the chance of ICO for an established, working and cool product like this.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 14, 2018, 11:09:50 AM
Waves it is a very promising platform, which allows you to create your own token, make fast transactions and trade on decentralized DEX exchange.

Yes. And the Waves distributed exchange is growing in volume every day. Waves DEX is regularly posting daily volumes in the millions of $.

This is already pushing the Waves blockchain daily transactions count up to the level of top 3 in market cap. Something that the WavesNG protocol, which is unique amongst blockchains, can easily and smoothly handle.

It's unstoppable. It is also inevitable the market will wake up to this reality sooner rather than later.
