..which is fun Well i earn and lose a couple of bucks trading. But unlike normal forex-trading, where normally there is not that kind of margin between days, i learned, that people trading on poloniex are nervous people. Yeah, people seem to aim in getting profits in BTC rather then fiat. |

I think there are allot of crazy things to buy with the bitcoin and that is not strange because you can almost buy everything with bitcoins if you pay enough everyone wants your coins.
Just like you can buy anything with offline currency. As long as you got the connections. |

My vouch copy is still processing. I had sent the OP an encrypted rar containing a textfile via mail yesterday, but his email provider rejected it because of the rar attachment (i used a disposable email, so i did not receive a message that my mail wasn't sent). Today, at 7:22 i sent him a pm with a link to filedropper containing the same encrypted textfile. At the moment it's 01:05:54 PM. I'll report back if he succeeds in cracking it. I know it should be virus free (unless my workpc is infected), but if you don't trust me: don't download the file  You can't scan an encrypted file for virusses. Anyway, I doubt there is a way other then brute forcing to crack a RAR file. A 128bit password will never be brute forced. |

If you don't want to wait for sync you could switch to an SPV wallet like Multibit or Electrum.

You're mixing up different things now as Tails is a Linux distribution and Trezor is a hardware Bitcoin wallet.
They are two completely different things.

The way I see this method is by removing the password code from the RAR file, which then obviously shows you an error message when you open the RAR file, and then he probably uses a file recovery software to scan for lost or broken files. Any thoughts?  Uhm, that's not really how encryption works... |
