Around 700 and something like 666 or 733.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: August 05, 2013, 06:49:47 AM
Imho it counts BTC incorrectly.

If you compare your site with http://bitcoindetailedcalculator.appspot.com/
this sites counts 2x more Bitcoins per day than yours.

I checked it with my real performance and it fits with http://bitcoindetailedcalculator.appspot.com/
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens when the bitcoin-bigplayers sell theire coins? on: June 02, 2013, 04:05:44 PM
Nearly half of existing today bitcoins (5 mlns) was released before end of 2011, before bitcoin became known to publicity (as first news was publicly released during first "bubble"). I think 6% in hands of biggest bitcoin players is huge understatement. Imho biggest players are virtualy unable to sell it all, even if they wanted to.

Why are you not placing bad news on the list? If price falls I'm looking for information why and nothing is on your list (it makes me suspicious that it's biased and not trustworthy because of that).

Read the rest of the thread (jesus, just read this page) to understand why there isnt more bearish info there.

If you are looking for info on why the fall happened yesterday, you just need to know that manipulators are going to manipulate (and sometimes get burned because they failed... like yesterday).

I don't get it
Why freezing mtgox bank account is less important than rumors that maybe some unknown hedge will give possibility to hold bitcoins.
Or if there is good news about Coinlab deal why it is not followed by news that it didn't work out and there will be no Coinlab but lawsuit instead. At least be consequent.

(I knew price was going to fall now, either in triangle or zigzag scenario, but it was quite fast, like some news showed up.)

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day trading on: May 16, 2013, 06:07:45 AM
I have a sure-fire way to make money day-trading. I go onto a public Internet forum and ask other people for their strategies, because if it works really well I'm sure they'll give the knowledge away for free! The other thing I like to do is when I'm about to put millions of dollars into a stock or Bitcoins, I tell everyone that in a few hours I'm going to spend millions of dollars to drive up stock XYZ (or BTC), and then I wait for everyone else to buy first so that I can buy at a higher price. Then, just before I sell, I do the same thing so that I can make sure to redistribute the wealth.

In other words, I'm pretty sure that 99% of the people on the speculation forum are like me: no clue whatsoever as to what we're doing. We guess, we lose money, sometimes we get lucky and make money and then pat ourselves on the back. And most of us are long Bitcoin, so the only time people are saying the price is going to crash is when they've sold (shorted) and want to buy in lower.

Welcome to the Internet! All the bad free advice you could want -- unless someone is making money off of advertising, in which case they have a reason to try to be useful. Or if they're egotistical and want to show others how smart they are. Good luck spotting the difference!  Grin

This forum is like BTCE Trollbox. Forum topics are chat messages, than you click them and see elaboration... it's actually worse than Trollbox, people here do more sophisticated stuff.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: One day.. like gold.. the price of bitcoin will be manipulated by banks on: April 30, 2013, 07:31:31 PM
Bitcoin price manipulation is a complex topic.
1. There are around 0.1BTC and less trades to shift prices up, change SMA etc.
2. Gox had sell lag to decrease price fall.
3. Gox limits money withdrawals to increase BTC price.
4. Biggest sharks swim in biggest ocean - Gox - to control market. Thats why although Gox sucked so epically it is still having 80% market share.

Market is contolled by those who has the most BTC or the most money.
We see on market about 1mln BTC and buying or selling 100000 BTC would call new "bubble" run or panic sell of.
At the same time we have 10 mln Bitcoins in existance (already half of cap, while it is still beta...).
Countires to protected their currencies store gold reserve and are able to buy or sell excessive amount of currency to stabilize the price - they are main player.
In BTC main player is unknown and stabilization of price is not main goal as BTC is paradise for speculation, thats why we see such sudden price jumpes like never before in history.

BTC is Japan, Gox is Japan, i suspect those milions of BTC are in Japan hands too (we have 10 milions released while still in Beta, isn't it strange?). They can't sell it cause the market is to small...

I didn't use word on P. Interesting how many BTC fanatics will put me on ignore list anyway... Smiley

On Twitter they wrote opposite to FB info, that they are under attack.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitstamp down? on: April 22, 2013, 11:28:00 AM
"Information" is on their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/Bitstamp.
If they don't even know if its outside or inside problem... heh hm.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 17, 2013, 08:41:06 PM

You have very bad time distance difference on same wave level.

For example, your I has time period of 2 years and II suddenly few days. This is not right.

It should be visible on daily chart and it is. There are no other time restirctions?
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 17, 2013, 08:16:25 PM
I've counted wave 5 go from 80-81 to 128.5, if breaks through 100 resistance.
On below picture (thx to firstcrypto!) B is counted as 129.59 - it's very close numbers.
Only wave B should be a zigzag upwards and against the falling trend, not 5 wave uptrend.
So 2 things doesn't makes sense - 5 wave and 100 resistance - i'm afraid people will start dumping on 95 and we will fall, making double top btw...

How many hours last in our crazy-volatile market short and long patterns (flags/penants vs triangles/wedges)?
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 13, 2013, 06:12:07 PM

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 13, 2013, 05:33:45 PM
Daily SAR look really bad.
MACD, RSI look bad too.

Also it so far looks like repetition from last time.
(Not saying it will repeat)
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst :) on: April 12, 2013, 01:48:32 PM
After first bubble we had 6 months of price falling. We are not going to experience long time fall here too?
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013 survivors club on: April 12, 2013, 11:59:53 AM
I realized crash is imminent at night before crash, like 16 hours before. But i didn't knew when exactly, hoped the price will double again till this saturday. Was totally uprepared, BTC was in cold storage. At work i had unusally busy hours, couldnt prepare anything. Went home and bum - price started to drop, my market (Bitcurex) went down completely with few bitcoins burried there. In next hour I opened few accounts on markets (BUT NOT ON f... GOX) learnt interfaces, transfered BTC with 11x minimal provision. It turned out that BTCDE is totally bad but i luckily transfered just 1,5BTC over their withdrawal limit. Bitstamp crashed both price and itself, i had to move BTC from there too. All sooner or later landed on BTCE - Russians made amazing market, it trades all stuff at once, can even exchange fiat, and there was few minimal lags overall. Start sell from 220, than BTC from Bitstamp for 180, last came from BTCDE and sold for 140, but last sell was bad move.
Felt bad after all but now feel like a bladerunner, happy when look how much others lost.
2BTC left. Will not buy anytime soon.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: MTGOX reopens - Reported LAG on bitcoinity, still several seconds! Incorrigible on: April 12, 2013, 02:14:22 AM
They had hardware failure and "quickly" replaced it with some shit?
Nah, probably don't optimized new stuff.
