Thanks, bought a couple Steam cards this morning to pick up some games at the end of the summer sale. Received the codes before payment was fully confirmed on Bitmit. Will definitely look for you again the next time I need something.

Things seem like they're changing for the better now that the latest bubble popped. Companies like BitPay and Coinbase are improving themselves and the Bitcoin community as a hole.

Hey, I'm a Linux admin/developer. Saw a need for a simple, secure web app to send Bitcoin gifts to anyone with an email address. So I'm working on polishing up coinpony.com.

Casual miner since 2011. Working on a small site now that might help some people.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoind: Possible to remove accounts? on: April 12, 2013, 08:01:37 PM
I guess I could create a new wallet and import keys or just transfer the coins... But I've had this wallet for a long time and it has sentimental value!
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoind: Possible to remove accounts? on: April 12, 2013, 07:40:47 PM
Hey, I guess this is the only place I can post so let me ask here.

I've been using bitcoind on the command line in Linux for a while and recently figured out how to move balances around different accounts, but I don't see a way to remove accounts entirely. Is this possible and is there any negative side effect? I don't want to remove the addresses associated with the account, just transfer the address to my default account.

I have a number of accounts such as these I would like to remove:

Code:
    "mining" : 0.00000000,
    "miningbackup" : 0.00000000,
    "test" : 0.00000000,
    "tradehill" : 0.00000000,

Thanks!
