221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Asset Insurance on: August 22, 2020, 10:40:18 AM
It seems to me that insurance of cryptocurrency assets at the current stage of development of the cryptocurrency market is almost impossible, especially given the volatility, and all the statements of teams about new projects that will provide such services simply look like manipulations in order to attract as many investors and the attention of other cryptocurrency users as possible.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Brace yourselfs , the economic earthquake is coming ... on: August 21, 2020, 03:10:41 PM
Some of my friends change their jobs offline into an online business, but they still find what the jobs that can suit them are. But they still try to search for offline jobs because they still prefer to do offline jobs.

So the situation isn't that bad for them. When they're able to have a job while looking for a better one everything is as it should be. It would have been much worse if they had no job or no options to even look for a better one, like many people in poor countries. In the big picture, the availability of online jobs puts you in a decent situation. Imagine living in central Africa or South America where the lucky few have Internet access and a computer. We really shouldn't be so pessimistic and have some fun instead of constantly worrying about a crisis that may never come.
If a person is conservative enough and cannot adapt to the requirements of the modern world, then it will be very difficult for him to refuse offline work. First of all, this happens because a real job gives him certain guarantees of income, and if we talk about online employment, then there are certain risks. But since the world follows the current trend, the opportunities for a person have increased today and a person with the help of the Internet can earn much more in a month than an ordinary person in his permanent job for a year or more.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Migration of Millionaires. Can Bitcoin change this scenario? on: August 21, 2020, 02:50:03 PM
Interesting data, thanks. But much incomplete. They talk of London and NYC are prime cities to relocate, I'm used to see people from those 2 cities leaving for good...
I don't see many people changing citizenship. In Monaco or Switzerland, there are thousands of foreigners living there. They will never go back to their past home, but they don't need local citizenship. The people I see looking for another citizenship are those from a shitty African country. They want a better passport to travel.

Passports are expensive. So most of them opt for residence permits, which may come cheaply. For example, if you want EU citizenship then you can purchase passports from Cyprus (€2 million+), Bulgaria (€1 million) or Malta (€1.1 million). But a much cheaper option would be to get a residence permit. For example, Latvia will give you a residence permit, if you are ready to invest just €100,000. With this permit, you can travel freely in the Schengen area. Similar permits are available from dozens of nations, including Spain (€500,000), Switzerland (€1 million), Italy (€500,000).etc.

BTW, if you want the cheapest option, you can opt for the Thailand Elite Residence Visa. It will cost you THB 500,000 ($15,800). A 20-year visa is also available for around THB 2 million ($64,000).

Again, that's a huge waste of money.
You don't need a residence permit. I've helped people buying houses in the Schengen area, all they had was a tourist visa (3 months), and everything was fine. Those people travel all the time, they'll get another visa when they'll come back.

I suppose when it comes to millionaires, there are no questions of value for them. At least in my country, almost all millionaires have dual citizenship, while hiding basic information, since dual citizenship is prohibited in my country. Nevertheless, millionaires will never skimp for their safety, especially when buying citizenship in the Schengen area.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run Will Be ‘Dramatically Different’ on: August 20, 2020, 01:43:30 PM
Indeed, if we compare the circumstances of investments in 2016 and 2017 in cryptocurrency, they were due to the desire to get very large and quick profits, but today the situation has changed dramatically, since the economic crisis in the world is aggravating against the background of the current circumstances, including the coronavirus pandemic. national currencies are losing very much in value, and other valuable assets are also depreciating, and one of the best ways out of this situation is investing in cryptocurrency, especially in bitcoin, since Bitcoin is one of the most profitable investment assets.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you buy/use Bitcoin if you knew its price would not reach a new ATH? on: August 20, 2020, 01:11:07 PM
The question is really interesting, since all the options proposed by users will be clear examples of how you can use Bitcoin upon reaching a stable historical high, knowing that the price will no longer rise higher. Then Bitcoin, as always, can be used as a safe haven for your money, since Bitcoin is much more profitable than any national fiat currency, and you can also use it as a means of payment.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prediction 2020 - 2021 on: August 20, 2020, 12:54:02 PM
I am still on the right side until now who believe that history will repeat itself, I will look at this thread, if anyone still has the same thoughts as me now, oh yes I just added a poll to this thread
i already vote just to be optimistic i choose above $ 100k  Cheesy Cheesy
and can you share your new analyst  Grin  what is your best bet in 2021  Cool
I believe that there are quite a few optimists among us who expect very good changes in the cryptocurrency market in the near future. In addition, the past halving should still affect the performance of Bitcoin in the near future, as it was during the previous halving. But $ 100,000 is too high a price for such a short period as 2020 and 2021. Although, thanks to the current economic crisis, it is cryptocurrencies that will be most in demand.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: August 19, 2020, 04:04:44 PM
This time all the world market are in crises and also the crypto market but as my predictions that this time crypto market will make a great bull in the market becasue so many countries will soon legal the Bitcoin in their countries and the investment will start in this way in the crypto amrket so much fast.

Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020?
 25,000$
 33,000$
 50,000$
 100,000$

$25 k is likely $33 k is probably $50 k is unlikely, I based my prediction on the current movement of the price there is no candlestick only common sense I rely on news that's coming along daily and of course, the global economic situation which is not good, but any predictions are not 100% correct, but we have to be realistic.
I believe that you were right about common sense, since it is common sense that today largely guides investors and other users of cryptocurrency. There will no longer be such situations as in 2017, because in my opinion everyone will be guided by clear rules and arguments.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coin in 2020? on: August 14, 2020, 01:54:11 PM
You can go with the hype of DeFi but be careful, and don't invest on price that is too low, look for a coins or project that is undervalued regardless of the price. $2,000 is quite a good amount of capital already, aim for long term and learn how to diversify your investment if you are looking to minimize the riks.

Actually, I believe that major altcoins will be given more attention first, so look at the trading volume of the coins you are planning to invest, usually, a legit project are listed in different good exchanges, so that's the first thing to consider as that's vital, the rest is based on your research.

I won't give a specific coins to invest, but never forget Bitcoin on your investment, it should be the priority.
Today, DeFi projects are in high demand among investors, but it is worth considering the fact that many teams use only the DeFi abbreviation, and their project is very remotely reminiscent of decentralized finance. Therefore, even in this situation, you need to be careful so that the same situation does not happen as a few years ago, when you invested in ico even without the White Paper, wishing to make huge money.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: August 14, 2020, 01:26:24 PM
im no pro but seeing your post makes me say that you are doing verry good .  your good with and without stop loss although its risky but you have manage to beat the risk and  earn more .

we all have our strats and  you already figured out whats work best for you , i dont think that modifying that present config can improve your trades but im afraid that it will only make you earn slower and not earn at all
Many traders pay a lot of attention to trading, using all their free time for this, and that is why they do not use stop loss. But in order to save time and minimize your risks, stop loss is preferable and will only bring in with the right settings. In order to avoid certain mistakes, such as placing a stop in the liquidity zone, as there is a high probability that the market will pass through these values before changing direction.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: August 13, 2020, 03:08:27 PM
LoL, the title of the post got my attention. It is indeed working to those who are holding altcoins but not able to sell during the cryptocurency halving. It might be getting old now since it was being brought and still holding it waiting for when it comes that it could recover and sell again without losses. But holding them too long does not mean that one should hold it forever as what it was implied in the title of the topic. Do not hold altcoins forever and sell it when you can earn. But if that coin your holding is a shit coin like dead project then good luck. Surely you can marry it and hold forever.
In general, Life is very fleeting and in the modern world there are quite often various situations when a person cannot carry out all his plans. Based on this, I also think that a titmouse is better in hand than a pie in the sky. you need to learn to use what life gives you, and not expect to receive transparent mountains of gold. I am also of the opinion that most altcoins do not have their own final product and one cannot hope for good prospects in the future.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 13, 2020, 02:48:59 PM
The whole situation is greatly complicated by the increased demand for transactions on the Ethereum network and therefore the price for gas has increased greatly. I believe that developers are now very actively trying to solve this problem, because due to the high cost of transactions, the number of users will decrease. Vitalik Buterin has already voiced the idea of how to solve this problem, when, instead of Gwei, they will introduce the concepts of a base commission for an operation and a bonus tip to miners.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can IDENA price touch $1 ? on: August 12, 2020, 02:59:50 PM
the current price is still $ 0.1, and I see on coinmarketcap, IDENA still has no data,
if I may know, how much is the total supply of IDENA?

it says the total supply atm is about 56M, that is accdg to CMC and based on their explorer. and since they are only in hotbit market, they still have a lot to improve here. however, going to $1 price seems a very long journey for this coin. i dont think that will happen this year.

https://scan.idena.io/

if they will continue to have progress with their goals and can keep up with the game among its competitors, they have the chance to reach $1. but not possible this year imo

I believe that the team should think about the future prospects and a listing on Binance could greatly influence the situation by increasing trading volumes. If trading was carried out on binance, then it would be quite possible to reach $ 1. Of course, I also doubt it, but still there would be chances.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why we look for a new project for investment purpose? on: August 12, 2020, 02:33:04 PM
of course, for most investors in the cryptocurrency market, the main goal is to make a profit, and not to be interested in a specific product of a specific project. nevertheless, among the new projects there are quite good projects that may have good prospects in the future. But the most important thing is understanding that there is a long way from generating a business idea to its implementation, and practice shows that many startups do not go through it. Therefore, it is not so much a matter of capital as of a team that will work on the implementation of the plan. Therefore, it is entirely possible to conclude that investors are the most investing in the team.
234  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Putin signed a law on the regulation of cryptocurrencies from 2021 on: August 07, 2020, 11:48:54 AM
Dear ladies and gentlemen, since at the referendum the people of the Russian Federation "made a positive decision" in favor of the current head of state, the power in the country will be concentrated in the hands of Putin and beyond. Thus, there is no reason to believe that the attitude towards cryptocurrency will change in the next few years.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and some metals HAVE intrinsic value! Paper does not on: August 07, 2020, 11:26:09 AM
Over the entire period of the pandemic, the entire world economy has been very hard hit and every investor is concerned about the safety of their capital. it is thanks to this situation that precious metals such as gold and silver, as well as Bitcoin, have become more in demand as valuable assets for investment. In addition, given the high rate of inflation in almost every country, cryptocurrencies are increasingly becoming a more profitable storage facility for their funds.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: August 07, 2020, 11:05:58 AM
Guys, I'm sorry, but I understand that among us there are a lot of gamblers who love these entertainments and can even earn a certain income from gambling. But I cannot share this affection, since I have never won so much that it would help me at least buy something. But if we talk about investments, then this is due to the investment of funds. I receive my main income. Of course, I understand that it is very difficult to choose a project for investment and the necessary good enough knowledge, But even with my level of knowledge in the cryptocurrency market, investments bring me much more than gambling.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: August 06, 2020, 12:00:17 PM
(I am a Filipino citizen)

We have the worst Government in this time of Pandemic, It's not all about the President but the Government as a whole.

what can you say about our situation for being the worst and also as the leading country on ASEAN that has a high  number of Covid Cases. It's been months already and yet, jnstead of recoveries we are getting most of it, and our economy is already falling. Or in other words, how will you react if you're one of us staying on the same country...

My friend, I frankly Sympathize with you. I live in Ukraine and have always admired the development of the Philippines economy and the standard of living of the citizens of your country. Our economic situation is much worse, but the only thing that does not require explanation is that the blame for the poor state of the country lies with the not professional government, not the head of state. The head of state is not always able to influence various spheres of the country's leadership. Your problems due to coronavirus are compounded as your country is densely populated and therefore the spread of the virus is so high. In my opinion, in order to avoid problems for citizens and for the economy, it is necessary to introduce adaptive quarantine, where people could continue to work, but at the same time made minimal contact with each other. In addition, I am confident that your economy will return to its previous indicators thanks to the tough work of Rodrigo Duterte. If the president has allowed the army and police to shoot quarantine violators, he will be able to shoot corruptionists or non-professional officials who harm the citizens and the economy of the country in the same way.
238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 100 milj in btc? on: August 06, 2020, 11:34:47 AM
100 mil in btc

Would You Still sleep well?  Or You check btc Price Every hour or so?

Nah,I would just invest in real estate and generate income from the rentals. Grin
Nobody with a brain would ever invest 100 million in such a volatile asset.
Many entrepreneurs and businessmen like taking risks, but this would be just pure gambling, unless they are some crypto whales that know how to manipulate the market.
I've reached a point in my life, where I can't imagine having even 100K USD,so there's no point of dreaming about having 100 million USD.
The fact is that a simple cryptocurrency user cannot afford to invest such a large amount of money in cryptocurrency. But the fact is that today Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are very often beginning to be considered as profitable investments by large investors, as well as large companies. An example is MicroStrategy, which plans to invest up to $ 250 million in alternative investments, among which Bitcoin appears.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do when Bitcoin reach$20k? on: August 05, 2020, 11:22:13 AM
As of now I've got very small amount of bitcoin that's been bought for the purpose of trading. The same is being used on regular buying and selling. Possibly I'll sell what's available with me when the price reaches $20000. The price has reached the peak years back, and people are expecting the same to happen in the near days. While the price reaches $20000, I'll convert everything to USDT and further will buyback when the price drops again.
I believe Bitcoin will hit a higher high than in 2017. In 2013, after the 2012 halving, the value of the coin increased by 12,000%, and in 2017 - by 13,000%. Therefore, there is a very high hope that this time Bitcoin will adhere to the same tradition.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run Will Be ‘Dramatically Different’ on: August 05, 2020, 10:51:17 AM
Considering how the crypto market is growing, the bull run of Bitcoin will not be as the same as 2017. Personally, I don't really see a bull run of Bitcoin like 2017. Looking at the Bitcoin market from 2018 to now, the bull run will be like a 10% increase in the previous market value of Bitcoin and the market might drop in few days after the rise.  I don't think there will be any dramatic different as stated by Winklevoss Twin in as much that there are more capital, infrastructure and better projects.  People have learnt to understand the bitcoin market. Due to that, the next bull run of  Bitcoin will not be significantly huge as before.

I agree too

Bitcoin Bull run will be completely different this time. Like 2017 it won't shoot to a new all time high straight away but this time it will go step by step. I accept it to reach till 25k by the end of this year or early next year.
In fact, in 2017, the rise in prices for cryptocurrency was due to completely different reasons and therefore the current period is very different from the past. Recently, the fact that cryptocurrency prices are more stable and at the same time are steadily rising has been very noticeable. And if you take into account last year's halving, then according to historical indicators, you need to expect at least a year before Bitcoin actively begins to rise in price after halving 2020, that is, somewhere in July 2021.
