841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ronaldinho launches NFT collection with Shirtum. on: November 20, 2021, 05:05:32 PM
To me it seems that many celebrities (long time after they were peaking) are now trying to cash in using NFTs. I have seen numerous NFT collections and mystery boxes in the last weeks and I don't think that this is a sustainable growth. In a few years probably nobody cares about those things anymore and they will become worthless  Roll Eyes
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy BNB at the right time? on: November 20, 2021, 05:03:30 PM
yes at this time the market conditions are experiencing a slight price increase after a few days ago the price of Bitcoin and some altcoins experienced a slight decline.
Now the price of BNB is around $581 and earlier on the 7th of this month the price of BNB has reached around $668, I think now is the right time to buy BNB. I often hear that in 2022 the price of Bitcoin and altcoins is likely to go up very high, I think now is the right time to buy BNB so that we can get very big profits in 2022.
If the wgole market rises and Binance operates as in the last years than BNB will surely rise higher. However, I don't think it is so sure that the market will continue to rise in 2022. There are some possible pitfalls with the upcoming regulation of Binance and possibly Stablecoins
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more long term bear market on: November 20, 2021, 04:09:19 PM
The bull market will never be eternal and that is a big mistake at the level of market speculation and investment, the market always has its stages that are always fulfilled, such as the Accumulation and Distribution stages, the market will obviously have to go down to again take a new stage of accumulation, what happens is that the times are difficult to determine, it may happen that another stage of Re-Accumulation occurs, which is very normal in the market, but bear market for now although it is seen that it is something difficult if it can happen, all possibilities are there and can happen.
I also think so. The bull market can't and won't last forever. It's a mistake to think that "this time it is different". Look at the past, in the future we will see similar movements in both directions (up and down)
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great coins to invest in? on: November 20, 2021, 08:26:01 AM
I have had ADA for about 6 months
But it has not yet become profitable
I like to focus more on new coins
This sounds more like you are looking for some gambling instead of doing a serious (long-term) investment. 6 months isn't a very long time. There will always be cryptos (or other assets) that will outperform you, but it's not always worthy to run after all possibilites. Do your research and focus on a small number of projects
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Popular Cryptocurrencies Of 2021 on: November 20, 2021, 08:22:42 AM
For me without a doubt I would put them in this order:

1.-Solana
2.-DOT
3.-UNI
4.-BNB

and there are some more that I have skipped, but there are other options that are infallible, but above all Solana there are even articles dedicated only to Solana as the coin that is the most winning in 2 months, and probably the most winning of the year, this wants say that those who have invested here have everything they need to keep winning.

And BNB that made a huge leap from 340USD to over 650USD, this is something impressive.

I agree with Solana on that list. BNB also surprised me, keep in mind that BNB was at $30 1 year ago. Now DOT ant UNI also had an excellent performance, but for me personally their impact was lower. Of course, one should not forget that UNI kicked off the whole DeFi department.

I would add some NFT and GameFi coins to the list. For instance AXIE had an increadible year.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A real alternative to Chia Coin? on: November 19, 2021, 08:18:02 AM
Did you hear about Chia Coin?

It is a hype green coin, which is now becoming a leader in the cryptocurrency mining market. Despite the hype, Chia Coin is still not as green as Crypton — the internal cryptocurrency of the Utopia ecosystem. The first has some drawbacks in technical terms. Although Crypton does not position itself as a green cryptocurrency for mining, it is a privacy coin. But the technical data suggests otherwise.
Funny to read these lines now. For some reason Chia was in the news a lot in spring (even non-crypto news pages) but now has disappeared completely. I just checked it's price development and it doesn't seem to be one of the big winners this year...
I read about Crypton and Chives (the latter is not even on CMC?)... so are those the hype coins for the next season?  Cheesy Grin

As "green" as harddisk mining seems in terms of electricity consumption, it consumes resources just like GPU mining or similar and won't be a good long term solution as a "green" method
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to invest in cryptocurrency in the second half of 2021? on: November 18, 2021, 07:20:37 PM
If you want to make money quick then play the lottery, or do the next best thing and invest in some sh*tcoins  Cheesy Grin

No but seriously, you should bring a bit of patience. Pick a couple of promising projects and then hold it (and don't touch it) for a few years. It's a gamble anyway as nobody knows the future, so do your research!
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the end of crypto? on: November 18, 2021, 07:14:05 PM
ALL Crypto is crashing. What happened to crypto? Is it the end of crypto?
Sounds like it's your first months (or year) in crypto. The prices are not on a one-way only up. Just have a look at the charts from the last years, there are many days with >10% downwards movement of the whole market.

And who knows, maybe the bubble bursts and it'll go 80% downwards soon  Grin Wink
849  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS 0.1 Casascius silver 2013, loaded, ungraded on: November 17, 2021, 07:48:01 PM
They were selling with quite a high premium, but aren't often offered here. If I remember correctly, there was a graded one sold a couple of months back for about 0.4BTC? Maybe somebody is better with the forum search than I am and can actually find the thread  Wink

For an ungraded one you could get about 0.2BTC if I had to guess..  Huh

Was mich sehr freut!  Smiley

Transferring the BTC today -  Wink

The campaign is going to run for another week.
Oh sehr gute Nachrichten  Smiley
852  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Kucoin - Riesen Potenzial - Was denkt ihr? on: November 16, 2021, 07:03:17 AM

853  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Binance Exchange & Binance Coin (BNB) & DEX on: November 16, 2021, 06:57:34 AM

854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is best and safest STABLE coin? on: November 15, 2021, 04:47:19 PM
One should have an eye on the possible future regulation of stablecoins and their issuing parties. USDT is already under investigation and I would avoid holding large amounts of it from now on. But also other stablecoins could move into the focus. Never forget that all funds can be frozen or become worthless in the worst case!
855  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Kucoin - Riesen Potenzial - Was denkt ihr? on: November 14, 2021, 04:02:21 PM

Grin
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Much of the NFTs in the cryptospace will die on: November 14, 2021, 03:40:15 PM
Announced Tuesday, the award-winning director and writer is auctioning off seven uncut scenes from “Pulp Fiction” as nonfungible tokens, also including original handwritten scripts from the film and exclusive audio commentary from Tarantino himself. The collectibles will be auctioned on NFT marketplace OpenSea.[/i]
Oh wow, it seems like NFTs really got popular this year, also with "ordinary" artists and content creators. I am still sceptical how this will be sustainable in the long run, but I agree with you that most of the projects will disappear and become worthless.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will checking the code of blockchain projects help? on: November 14, 2021, 03:38:15 PM
Have you heard about the CheckDot platform? They will audit the code of various blockchain projects and tokens and identify fraudsters. Do you think this can make the blockchain truly open and transparent?
I haven't heard about the project, but it sounds very promising. It is impossible to get rid of 100% of bugs and loopholes in code, but the more people read and understand a piece of code and then also fix bugs, the better it's quality will be in the long run.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Baby Shiba Inu on: November 14, 2021, 01:57:31 PM
What kind of thread is this to be in "Altcoin discussion"? This looks like a (pretty bad) announcement thread, but no "discussion" material. Maybe you should take some time to introduce the coin. What is it for? What are its unique features? From what I read, I guess it doesn't have any real use and innovation but is just a Hypecoin to rip off newbie investors.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 14, 2021, 01:55:18 PM
Holding USDT long term might not be the best idea. Stablecoin regulation is coming and USDT could be the first one to go bust.
If you need to sell for Fiat, then do that, but hold proper $, € or whatever is the most convenient for you. Alterantively you could go into BTC and sit the bear market out.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 14, 2021, 01:51:27 PM
The potential is still huge for football coins, the huge increase in interest shows how is demand going upwards. The Porto football club coin will also have the same interest by the same group of gem hunters and price can go the highest point, in my opinion.
Yea I think so too. I would never hold those football coins long term, but there are many fans and if the clubs put the tokens to a good use they can be very successful. BNB will profit a lot from that and might reach new highs this year.
