Cnt was a coin developed by other devs with a great reputation and the fact we use the same nick is to give continuity to the project. My trust is perfect in the sphere of people that are wise and clean.

Guys, our Algo is not easy. We're improving mining and create an Asic resistant coin even to new Antminer was not an easy task but we did. That's why you can't mine it using regular nhequiminer.

There's also a penalization Algo depending from the total power. If you want to maximize it, uses at 75% of the total power and you get the maximum result. If you use all cores it's easy you get fewer results.

Also, the difference in mining using Cpu and Gpu is not so high using Equihash. It is not more than 30-35%, so is less relevant despite other algorithms.

Can't be other pools at the moment. Our algorithm does not allow to mine using other protocols.

We are the only one coin worldwide using Equihash with poS and poW. We expect some period of fixing small issues, this is normal when you do something that no one did before.

Nice thing is that we're fixing almost everything and we're probably one of the 3 coins really mineable by anyone in the market.

YES. YOU ARE RIGHT. There's a maintenance of a couple of services but you're still getting coins in the pool main wallet. It should be unblocked in 6-8 hour time. Don't worry you will get everything you are mining.

Yes if you use max 75% of your cores.

If you work with graphics, you must use max 50%.

So if you have 8 cores, use 5-6 and can use normally your pc.

Regualr equihash miners do not work with our protocol. Asics can't mine Cntf. And by the way, It will be always much better that most of other available coins around:)

We don't judge people on their experience. Our main dev was Verge creator. I think he has enough experience to create a winning coin.

Total power to mine cnt is high right now. As it is an x11 you should use baikal or if you want to mine using your pc, you should work mining his "brother" that uses equihash algorithm, cntf.

INSTRUCTIONS TO USE WINDOWS CNTEQUIMINER

To let the cnt windows miner to work with your Os you must download Cuda toolkit 8.0, just the main version for your Os without patch.

After you install Cuda on your Os, let's follow these steps:

1. Unpack the archive in a folder example in C with cntequiminer foldername
2. you will find 4 files in the folder (pluse read me instruction): cpu_tromp_SSE2.dll; cuda_tromp_75.dll; cudart64_80.dll; nheqminer.exe
2. Launch Run application (Win+r)
3. Click Browse
4. Find and select nheqminer.exe from the archive
5. at the end of the line in the Run window add the following:

-t 2 -l 88.99.194.16:3232 -u C.................................................... ( add your cnt wallet instead of the default address)

-t 2 is the number of CPU cores that will be used. Best effects are achieved at using 75% of your CPU cores. If you want to know how many cores has your pc, watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6UqjEU7V0E. So depending on core numbers use max 75% of your pc cpu cores.

-l 88.99.194.167:3232 is the address of the mining pool. Don't change that.

-u C........................... is the address to which the rewards will be going. Specify your address here instead of this one.

6. Click OK in the Run window. A console window with the running miner will open. You can see the progress there.
