weekend dump ?
Halving dip? Wall Street is simply trying to tell everyone who is the boss and that we should pay no attention to halving, etc. They can succeed in a short time frame, but not in the long one. That and: strikes are reported... Dow and S&P futures are down, gold, oil and silver are up. politics vs btc dynamics

What is the L2 you are talking about?
Waves is planning to launch a L2 blockchain ecosystem sometime in the first or second quarter of this year. Sasha talked in one of his AMA's in past December about it. Here you can read the key points https://blog.waves.tech/ama-with-sasha-1-12-23There is hope it will fix a couple of things, but I don't think this is a gamechanger for Waves to find a way out of the current gloom. jerry0 early investors are being lost since a long time....even after reading... maybe a clear explanation will come ?

Following the news on the EU anti money laundering and anti terrorism financing laws, effectively in place from 30th dec. 2024, i have to say good bye to my Ledger Nano ...
Why? Will Ledger stop working for EU? I can't find such news. at last news, ledger live is not fully open source and ledger is an EU-based firm.

I agree with the points made by stoffu.
We should have additional people (at least one) with access to the github repos (the web site is also a repo, which is why I phrased it that way).
Further, I would also suggest that I should step down as maintainer and hand over administration of the project assets to someone else. I clearly don't have the time to continue usefully in this role. The community should reach consensus on who this should be.
good proposition open for discussion. in 2024 aeonix has not had any activity until now. https://github.com/aeonix

Months past and clealry this is still seen as an issue. And correct me if I were wrong but I don’t think Ordinals is doing that much of an impact to network congestion at this point, cause surprise surprise, NFTs are effectively dead. Now this either means that there’s something else afoot causing all this unnecessary traffic and high transaction fees over long wait times, or scalability is already becoming a more prevlanet problem in the bitcoin network than what we have expected. Perhaps this is the blocksize war biting our asses back with twice the PSI
Now what do we do in this situation? Do we just wait? Do we ban Ordinals so they can’t contribute to the traffic any longer? What’s in place to make sure that even temporarily we have this be taken care of?
interesting discussion. probably a mainstream cause as the extent of the problem appears important.
