141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: May 21, 2019, 06:00:09 AM
Gambling is the way to loss when one doesn't have the patience. Whenever there is some form of loss we'll suddenly go out of control and try to recover back the lost fund within a short on the further rolls. This mentality will surely lead to loss than getting back the funds. I'm one of the victims who has experienced it most of the time I gamble.
Even if we play with much caution the chances of making is not in our hand so its simply not for making money.

Let it for entertainment and we have to work hard if we want to gamble for fun when we have spare time.

It is luck that may change your fate whether you will win it or lose it will depend upon it. Not much things works like strategy or anything in many games as those are purely luck that decides whether you will win or not.

Very well said, but many gamblers are having a great time with the games they play daily in which they are well-experienced players. Experienced players know that they can win and lead the game to the final stages if they play strategically without any pressure and hurry. However, there are games in which luck and strategy both are involved so the winning chances are almost equal for both the opponents.

I would say poker is the one with some luck and skill based Smiley But if we speak about Slots / Roulette and sports betting then its really gambling and ofter people lose alot and start to chase loses . Thats called gambling i guess . The gamblers usually are the people with low income trying to chase dreams Smiley Ofcourse there is Rich People who gamble aswell , but they don't gamble to win , they gamble for emotions ...
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: May 21, 2019, 05:53:05 AM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
That's ridiculous, man. Sorry for your loss.
I also had faced the same issue back in 2018 but I was lucky that ny investment was approx 0.05 BTC there, I was not aware about the swap.

Thats why i always for 100% follow the projects i hold coins/tokens for . Don't know how you guys manage Crypto holdings , but thats wrong not to follow the ones you holding . There is always a big chance project will swap contract or tokens for new ones . Always join telegram , discord , twitter or whatever they are using . And never miss a swap again Smiley
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: May 21, 2019, 05:41:36 AM
Currently had no good rewards as all the projects cut the bounty at the end of the day . I did few for 8-10 months and at the end they just make new rules not to pay out . Quite sad , but thats the life i guess .... Would be really nice if Bounty managers would take tokens/coins before Bounty starts with escrow . There is projects that says that unsold tokens will be burned , but at the end they say it was misscommunication lol =D How can you believe projects now ?
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: May 14, 2019, 09:43:00 AM
True , thats why i really try to hold most of them and don't sell . I really don't care if value of my tokens goes from 100$ to 5$ , as long as i trust the project then hopefully it will recover and go even higher than that Smiley

146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: April 28, 2019, 10:32:40 AM
What about all the ATM's , Banks , Bank storages , transfers of FIAT money does that not consume big energy like electricity to run all of that . I think Miners consume just like 5-10% of the energy that Banks consume . Technology is addapting really fast and im 100% sure that not far from now somebody will come up with something better to run hardwares and things that runs currently on electricity =] New form of energy i mean =D
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's value after being more recognized and accepted globally. on: April 28, 2019, 03:57:00 AM
Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency in general are slowly been accepted and recognized by some financial institutions in some countries in the last few years. And there are well-known personalities that promotes the use of cryptocurrency around the globe.

But the questions is how come its value decreases after it has reached the highest in the last quarter of 2017. Was it being more accepted affected its value? What are your thoughts?

To bring price up there should be no sellers willing to sell at 5k range Smiley Lets say if somebody would like to buy BTC on 20 Million usd , he could do that , but he possible will incrase price on that exchange and probably other sellers will follow that price and price will increase on other exchanges aswell . But usually big buys like 5 or even more Million usd happens on OTC ( OTC stands as over the counter )
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which new token has good potential for the future? on: April 28, 2019, 02:50:39 AM
I better would not suggest people tokens as the ones i suggested got rekt by price pretty badly , but as projects its really good ones in my opinion . Check out hiveterminal , vouchforme , menapay and there few more in my list .
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This might be ridiculous, but let answer this question on: April 27, 2019, 09:46:43 PM
Bitcointalk for me is like hobby , i read news , make some posts/discussions . I got real time job aswell , sometimes do some tasks for extra money as im really interested in crypto and keep buying / earning to hold some for quite long time
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: April 27, 2019, 09:08:54 PM
As i see there is projects that still struggle to raise enough funds or even quite little with IEO . Im not talking about binance launchpad . There is alot more exchanges that do IEO , but unfortunately , they don't have enough customers / volume .
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will Hit 6000$ Before april last date ? on: April 27, 2019, 08:51:34 PM
Its only few days left till end of april . Its really possible for bitcoin to hit 6k and even more , but its really high chance it will not . So either its called ''gambling'' as nobody knows where it will go Smiley If you really believe BTC will hit new all time highs , then just grab some or keep holding Smiley
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gab wants to make a browser rewarding you in BTC on: April 26, 2019, 10:03:00 AM
Gab is creating its own web browser using Brave’s open-source code replacing the BAT token with Bitcoin Lightning Network integration :

https://decryptmedia.com/6719/gab-forking-brave

"The company has built its own web browser—a forked version of the open-source Brave browser—and will be releasing it within the next few weeks"

Can i ask whats the point of browser like Brave ? I know it blocks adds and offers to watch some adds with rewards . But i think anyone can create plugin for lets say Chrome and it will do same thing :/
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin went from $5420 to $5117 in 2 minutes! Bubble? on: April 26, 2019, 10:00:09 AM
I dont think its bubble , best that comes to mind is the Bitfinex and USDT Court Fillings news , its around everywhere now , will find it on BTC news sites definetly . I guess its best time to grab some before it's not too late =D
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 25, 2019, 09:04:59 AM
I believe one of the major setbacks of the present crypto space is a lot of new projects are focused on providing the fastest easiest crypto coin to be used for payment purposes and transactions however considerably lower effort is placed on the vendors who are actually going to be accepting payment in form of cryptocurrencies because what is the use of having a crypto payment card full of money that you cannot spend.

Whitmore payment gateways a inform of PayPal and the likes accepting crypto payments from multiple coins without necessarily issuing their own coin then there will be better adoption of cryptocurrencies by both business owners and customers.

I think somebody will create (as there already is in market ) easy plugins for merchants / POS terminals and stuff like that to accept crypto . And it will not matter with what crypto you pay ERC / BITCOIN or any other coin/token . As long as it will have value , it will be accepted .
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins meeting regulations on: April 25, 2019, 09:01:36 AM
Probably they will stay out of regulations , but still run behind the scenes . There is alot of people that use them , im not one of them as i don't use privacy coins , because got nothing to hide . Atleast for now =D
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Binance Coin a good choice to HOLD? on: April 25, 2019, 09:00:12 AM
At the start of the binance launch i remember i didn't believe they can compete with Bittrex , poloniex and any other top exchanges at that time . But look where are they now , one of the best exchanges out there with great support , airdrops , lotteries , competitions and IOE's for new projects Smiley Now Bittrex and other exchanges can't compare to binance . But for the coin to hold i would say that it have use case as token Smiley Thats how you create projects and run them smoothly

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone + 3 years trading or investing? on: April 21, 2019, 01:45:55 PM
Im in crypto more than 3 years , but never traded anything for profit . Just did try to trade some , but failed like many other people . Didn't make really good profit with holding aswell , but made some extra money as i did cash out some last year . Still got something to hold . If i didn't cash out probably would have alot of money now . But well , i think everybody still got a chance to make really nice profits if you buy now Smiley Its just a start
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: April 21, 2019, 12:52:42 PM

160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Everyone loses money when the market is down right? on: April 21, 2019, 12:25:51 PM
Actually there is people who make alot of money by shorting Bitcoin Smiley You can even short with x50 / x100 leverage and make loads of money if btc drops by 100-200 USD . But leverage is really risky , you short and btc goes up 100$ then you lose all your balance probably Smiley
