941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should never become fully anonymous- don't fool yourself on: June 07, 2020, 03:58:52 PM
You say it is not anonymous but in a way it is, as long as you've never submitted KYC.
If I were to do a p2p transaction to get cash with BTC that I've acquired in 2014, that would pretty much be an anonymous transaction.
Say I wanted to take my BTC to a store that accepts such payments and bought a new computer. That would be an anonymous transaction.
I have anonymously exchanged Bitcoin for cash in the past. It's not very easy but it's possible.

Monero is being harder and harder to exchange every year. What if it becomes delisted from 90% of exchanges one day?

People might be exchange Bitcoin right now anonymously but just like Monero it will be harder to do it in the future once a full enforcement of regulation will happen which is inevitable. Majority of the governments who are willing to accept cryptocurrencies are always pointing about the regulations the industry will undergo in order for it to be accepted. Since the characteristic of it only digitally existing their KYC process and enforcement are always round the clock due to AML compliances, the enforcement might not be strict in your country now but once the crypto industry becomes popular in your country I would expect anonymous transactions happening in the internet would be less and less likely to happen.
942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoin Market Analysis - Monthly Close Edition on: June 07, 2020, 12:37:53 PM
We might say that it could be a bull trap indeed, because right after that $10++ climb, the price suddenly went down, to $9600 levels. So obviously the bears are not that quiet, as they take over the market again. And look at the weakening trading volumes, it sure do smells like bearish to me.

It's weekend though, we know that in this 2 days, the market is majority dry and trading is not that very active. Still a lot of room for the bulls to regain the market at the opening of the week, so let's see in the next 24 hours.

Don't you mean a correction rather than a bull trap? If this was indeed a bull trap we won't be staying in the 9,500$ for long and bull trap being bearish will just mean that Bitcoin supposed to be going down way beyond the 9,000 or even 8,000$ level just to prove that we are still in a bearish market and that is a clear indication of it. That's why the price drop we are seeing right now is just a correction and we might consolidate here for a while as it has been for Bitcoin in months now. And at this point we are neither bearish nor bullish since the market lacks action lately.
943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]:Kupidon ransomware on: June 06, 2020, 08:14:43 PM
The ransomware is unique based on the article provided it doesn't require any kind of user error for it to penetrate the system as the ransomware is able to control your pc if you are connected somehow to a remote desktop server which I don't think a lot of people have. But just like what the article bleepingcomputer created they still don't have a lot of information to go through on how or why this people are getting it so maybe not messing around with websites as well as emails is still a must before we found out how does this ransomware is able to get through with PCs.
944  Economy / Reputation / Re: 50 Merit left in 4 minutes! AltAccount - Bounty Cheater - Spammer on: June 06, 2020, 07:08:14 PM
I think the appropriate tag for them has been given already by the OP, if they are alt accounts cheating a bounty campaign then it is already proven that this person is abusing the merit system by sending merits to his other account. So you really don't need additional evidence beside this 50 sMerits sent to himself, I don't know if another DT member will be tagging them but I think it's already enough for others to see that this person really cheated the bounty campaign.
945  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tether and Bitfinex Denounce Amended Price Manipulation Lawsuit on: June 06, 2020, 05:34:39 PM
When will this kind of lawsuits end? I mean its always about disgruntled investors pointing fingers on to someone for their losses and I don't think they have the right to blame it on someone without substantial evidence. Right away if the court sided with the plaintiffs they are admitting partially that Bitcoin is a "bubble" with their claims as much as I hate USDT and Bitfinex I don't want this decision to be made in favor of the complainants since it will just damage the reputation of Bitcoin and maybe some other cryptocurrencies that the complainants have invest in. But if they have substantial proof that Bitfinex and Tether really just created USDT to pump the market during December 2017 I don't think this is a winnable case for them.
946  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-05-30] China: Parliament passes law allowing inheritance of Bitcoin on: June 06, 2020, 03:16:59 PM
I don't see any kind of new "law" here. We already know that there are only two kinds of assets here tangible and intangible assets simply if we can't touch it then it just falls in intangible assets such as stocks, bonds, as well as assets that only exists digitally like Bitcoin this isn't really a law but for me a confirmation of what we already know and I don't think it change since even intangible assets are inherited by their heirs without any kind of special laws like what is created by China.
947  Economy / Services / Re: Do you want an experienced Japanese market-advisor/manager/translator/trader?? on: June 05, 2020, 08:37:52 PM

thanks sir. but i dont use the kind of recruit service because i want to keep in anonymous. I can open my portfolio when the person in charge will contact pm.
Just i dont open it on the public sir.

Being "anonymous" is irrelevant here as literally if you go in the marketplace section right now you won't see any people revealing their names or anything about their identity but all of them are posting their sample works, accomplished works, as well as vouches from other people just to prove that their service is legit not only their words are backing them up but actual produced work from previous jobs. I mean can posting your work may lead you to being identified here in the forum? If it does and you are problem about that then I don't think BCT is a place for you or rather to put it simply nobody will be trusting you in the first place.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 05, 2020, 05:23:06 PM
juve, inter, fiorentina, napoli or fc barcelona - which club is the next in his (Sandro Tonali) young career?

Basing it on the calcio news I have seen Tonali from Brescia's president said that he already declined a move happening from Barcelona as he already knows that he will be covered in depth of the squad. He will likely stay in Serie A where you already mentioned the likely clubs he will go. As for the Brescia club I know that Serie A clubs won't be able to match the offer of Barcelona but the thing is if the player denies the contract the transfer won't even push through so Tonali here is the one who really has the choice of where he would go next.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earning ERC 20 from non fungible tokens on: June 05, 2020, 04:02:58 PM
Bro I can't believe that you posted the same topic/question twice in different boards, your second post from what I remembered originally was posted in the project development section and is now moved in the gaming development section. My answer is still the same and I don't think there is really money to be earned here since it sound more like a in-game currency rather than a cryptocurrency.
950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THINGS THAT CAN'T BE TAUGHT IN TRADING on: June 05, 2020, 02:42:59 PM
One major thing I know can't be taught is the psychological aspect of trading.

It can be taught as how I view things since we do have some psychologist and human behavioral science who can teach you this things. I think the better thing to say here is even if you teach/reminds them to control their emotions while trading it will still really depend on him/her doing his part. And for newbies being carried around their emotions I don't blame them since the crypto market is really a volatile market for any newbies to enter in their first time around, I know that the price action is much faster for others to have a proper decision that's why the best thing to handle this is to have an entry and exit strategy as well as a cut loss strategy at place and be set in stone so no matter what will happen as long as he/she is contended with his plan he/she can keep his emotions intact.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Be aware of a possible new exchange SCAM - I need your opinion on: June 03, 2020, 03:30:12 PM
Generally if someone is offering you crypto directly even if the ICO hasn't even ended yet chances are you are holding a shitcoin/scamcoin, if there is even an ICO you wouldn't even receive the crypto earlier. Aside from that you even have searched for any background information for the cryptocurrency exchange, I don't even know why you have continued to make that transaction even though you failed to receive any kind of information with that crypto exchange. The good thing here is you did your due diligence on searching everything about this crypto and the crypto exchange but the wrong thing you did is you still continued to go with that deal even if you have seen a lot of red flags as a warning.

A big mistakes always happening on newbies side which is not properly researching on the platform introduced to them and they are always late when they are in trouble that's why next time people should research first since for sure they will find more information posted on internet regarding on the platform or any similar to that.

Hopefully OP learn a lesson from that loss and better move on to the next chapter also stay away on the ICO's

There are more valuable things than investing on ICO's, Learn trading OP since that is more legit than anything offered investment opportunities to you by the people who know you.

He did research on it but the problem here is even if the OP have seen a lot of red flags prior to the deal he still push through with the deal which for me is a bad decision making on his side. He didn't really lack on doing research as proven by how he have found out a lot of things after as proven what he had posted in the OP the problem here is why he had agreed with the transaction. To be honest this mistake is one of those where you will learn the most as anyone who will fall for this even though they have seen a lot of red flags beforehand will really learn from this mistake.
952  Other / Meta / Re: giveaway marked as bad report? on: June 03, 2020, 02:32:24 PM
This is the statement for Altcoin's Marketplace Section:
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

This is the statement for Bitcoin's Marketplace Section:
To be specific, I'm referring to "Post in this thread for free x". That belongs in Games and Rounds. Though it isn't limited to that, in general you shouldn't be giving people incentives to post in your thread, it's disruptive to actual discussion.

Rizzrack is right although I think that posting giveaway threads in the games and round section is still in a case-by-case basis. The mod reviewing this thread might have given them a free past as some of the process in their giveaway are done externally and is not mostly about incentivizing the post itself.
953  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: June 03, 2020, 01:09:46 PM
However, according to the CEO of Sino Global Capital Matthew Graham, digital yuan could encourage other countries and people overseas to get on board with China’s technology and currency.

This is where the premise of the whole article is and I doubt this will even happen. Remember how popular Libra was and how quickly a lot of countries have banned/denied it even before it will be launched? The same thing will happen to China's digital Yuan, if you think about it countries like Japan, Germany, US, and U.K are all blaming China because of the pandemic I doubt that they will even be on board when this cryptocurrency will launch especially now that their diplomatical skills are very bad as of the moment.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: June 03, 2020, 12:18:32 PM
That's the good thing of having a digital ledger where you can monitor every transaction happening from that address as you can always see what is coming and going from that address. However I would say that blockchain is a double-edged sword, I know that a lot of people now are already looking at the transaction history of addresses and sometimes this is used in a bad way from scams and fake projects, they will often send out Bitcoin or any other crypto to themselves to make it look like this project/scam is still active just to fool people, a lot of HYIP and Doublers do this as well either in the real blockchain or a fake one showing in their website.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Surge - What is happening? on: June 02, 2020, 11:22:58 PM
I've read Plan B's Bitcoin S2F model and all I can say is that even if his price prediction and explanation is very convincing the thought of his analysis only focusing on the supply and demand of Bitcoin made me feel that it is inaccurate. There are still a lot of external factors to consider when we are talking about the price forecasting of Bitcoin since it greatly affects it's price movement regardless of the current demand and supply of Bitcoin. External factors such as laws, macroeconomy, and adoption is something that the S2F hasn't taken into consideration which makes the price prediction purely based into it be inaccurate.
956  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Website RP9 Mining.com on: June 02, 2020, 09:00:24 PM
I don't know if this would help but last 3 days ago someone posted about RP9mining.com being a scam it never really got any attention since the OP of the thread wasn't really reliable on his accusations as he mainly post about scam mining hardware websites without any evidence of a transaction happening. So maybe posting those screenshots will help your case on other members believing you that this website is indeed a scam.
957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is bitcoin not anonymous? on: June 02, 2020, 07:30:23 PM
I always have two things in mind when someone ask this question.

1. Blockchain - How can Bitcoin be anonymous if literally all transactions made through blockchain can be shown to everyone along with dates, amount, and transaction fee? How can Bitcoin be Anonymous if Blockchain is also known as a "digital ledger" for Bitcoin's transaction? A lot of the authorities are already connecting addresses and linking them to illicit activities with the use of Blockchain so the blockchain alone eliminated the ability of Bitcoin to be anonymous.

2. Government - Can the government really allow a cryptocurrency who has been used in the dark web successfully be in some kind of no regulation? Of course when they see that Bitcoin has the potential to be used in illicit activities from money laundering to tax evasion you know the government won't allow this to have some kind of restraint towards on how it can be used freely.
958  Economy / Reputation / Re: theymos activity on Reddit - A collection of posts on: June 02, 2020, 03:50:25 PM
So theymos' last post in Reddit was 21 days ago I don't know if this is related but I think people should know that r/BTC is taken over by Roger Ver and his army of trolls. I'm just surprised that theymos is somehow not affected by them.

I believe the recent price increase is related to two different things:
1 - the smaller supply of btc to exchanges due to halving may already be affecting price.

2 - bitcoin is performing extremely well in this recessing, which is a huge one. So it is calling attention from many different investors all over the world.
I believe that traditional investors are facing a problem: negative interest rates in fixed income are forcing them to go to stock market, which is very risky as we saw now.  GOLD is the obvious alternative, however bitcoin is presenting itself as one as well.

I can say that I am agreeing to you observations. My first thought when the halving of block rewards happened miners as of that time would be more willing to hold their Bitcoin rather than sell it at the current price hoping for a more higher price since rewards now will be scarce their margin of error for each of their trades will be bigger that's why if they can still hold Bitcoin without incurring any losses they should hold it. And to be honest I am really surprised that Bitcoin was the fastest one to recover its price which just tells us that the recent dip was caused by FUD and not a decreased in demand.
959  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Kremlin vs bitcoiners. on: June 02, 2020, 03:14:29 PM
looks like you feel sad about it but we must be happy with it because they will only punish those illegal activities and not those who are known to operate in a legit way  .

this will not affect the poor bitcoiners  but this do also make them more secure because these poor guys will now have a lesser chance to get scammed  .

You didn't read the news I guess. This does not make already illegal activities illegal in Russia but the drafted bill contains making the user of crypto illegal overall. From the issuance of cryptocurrencyes, circulation of it, as well as using cryptocurrencies as means of payment will be illegal based on the drafted bill of Russia with punishments going to 7 years in prison. I mean can you believe that? You going to jail just because you have crypto assets in that country? I don't think that this kind of bill should be made into a law because first of all it isn't even gonna be equal to all parties I know the Russian government is strict when it comes to AML but simply banning cryptocurrencies isn't really the solution here as a big industry will be affected.
960  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-06-01] McAfee backs down from wild Bitcoin $1 million price prediction on: June 02, 2020, 02:20:31 PM
That's why it is important not to always believe on what other people are saying specially if they are a highly influential person in the industry like McAfee as they can always back down on what they are saying and make it like they were only joking that time or will say that they haven't guaranteed anything about it. For people still believing on the price predictions of McAfee in Twitter or in anywhere just remember that he himself have revealed that he is accepting payments for a paid tweet so yeah he himself know that his followers in Twitter are literally following on what he is saying so I'll be careful next time on what I'll be believing in the internet because in their eyes you are just fools following them.
