125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 12, 2017, 09:31:14 PM
Cagliari will be having a though game as they will be facing Juventus and they are with a lot of missing players and not in the best form right now it's true that they perform better at home but they will be facing juventus whom in great form after 5 wins in a row so they will be looking for their 6 win in row so i belleive we will see Juventus win with both teams not scoring.

Juventus look well priced to win away at caliagri. they are in excellent form and clear at the top of the table. the opposition do not look likely to be taking points off the old lady, and a low scoring away win is expected.

Exactly. I totally agree with you. I see either a 0-1 or a 0-2 victory for Juventus, so they can keep their advantage of points over Roma.

I'm watching the game right now, and as much as I think Juve will win this, I won't be surprised if Cagliari will manage to score a goal. That already had some opportunities, and now that Chielini is out it will be easier for them.

Damn, Cagliari get red card while I was placing bets for them +2.5
I doubt they can withstand the attack of Juventus within 20 minutes remaining

The match doesn't interesting for anyone in Juve right now, they only want it to end.
The only one who still want to score is Higuiain, that with a hat-trick will be the best scorer in serie A.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 12, 2017, 09:27:36 PM
In my opinion all it is, is pure fun. The Gambler has the choice to decide if it is responsible or irresponsible gambling. Brings entertainment and gives people the risk they feel they need in life. In this case the saying of don't hate the player hate the game would be switched for gambling.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: February 12, 2017, 09:23:20 PM
It's a zero sum game where the total pay-offs are the same for all possible combinations of players' strategies. This means that each player can only gain at the expense of others; any player's loss is balanced by an equal gain (or gains) made by other players.
A real life example of a zero sum game is gambling. If one player wins, other players (including the house) must have lost the same amount.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you beat the house edge on: February 12, 2017, 09:11:27 PM
Not only do betting systems fail to beat casino games with a house advantage, they can’t even dent it. Roulette balls and dice simply have no memory. Every spin in roulette and every toss in craps is independent of all past events. In the short run you can fool yourself into thinking a betting system works, by risking a lot to win a little. However, in the long run no betting system can withstand the test of time. The longer you play, the ratio of money lost to money bet will get closer to the expectation for that game.

Bitcoin is growing in popularity and women are using this to their advantage by showing themselves for BTC. Seems like an idea that is interesting and I myself don't mind looking at women. If you haven't heard yet Girls Gone Bitcoin is a channel on Reddit.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: February 12, 2017, 08:23:09 PM
I heard about bitcoin four years ago, through an article in a local tech site. I then started to learn about it, any gain some satoshis by faucets.
Then I found this forum and it changed everything. Now I know I can find here answers to any question related to bitcoin.

132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: February 12, 2017, 08:11:59 PM
Most adult sites that accept bitcoin are tiny and dwarfed.
The advantages of using bitcoin to pay for adult content are more or less obvious. People are not too keen to share their credit card data with small adult websites and they have perfectly good reasons aside from anonymity.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: February 12, 2017, 08:06:46 PM
Bitcoin is a relatively private currency. On the one hand, it is transparent – thanks to the blockchain, everyone knows how much a particular bitcoin address holds in transactions. They know where those transactions came from, and where they’re sent. On the other hand, unlike conventional bank accounts, no one knows who holds a particular bitcoin address. It’s like having a clear plastic wallet with no visible owner. Everyone can look inside it, but no one knows whose it is.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: February 12, 2017, 08:00:03 PM
I mostly do sports betting. Some mistakenly believe that mathematics and statistics are insignificant in sports betting. The truth is that just like in casino games, the effectiveness of a sports betting system to generate profits depends strictly on mathematics.
Even when there is no obvious system, as if a player bets blindly, the bettor may inadvertently wager using math correctly! Even in the case when betting decisions are influenced by the news, predictions and rumors, a player’s profitability is directly depended on math.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: February 12, 2017, 05:33:30 PM
One of the great results would be that we would likely receive a little more financial freedom with global bitcoin acceptance and legalization.
We would also likely witness more ease in the way we use money and how we work in finance in general. With the entire world using the same kind of currency, international business overseas would probably become much simpler than it is right now.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best platform for day to day trading? on: February 12, 2017, 05:27:19 PM

137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: February 12, 2017, 01:14:50 PM
Also, there are no chargebacks
Once bitcoins have been sent, they’re gone. A person who has sent bitcoins cannot try to retrieve them without the recipient’s consent. This makes it difficult to commit the kind of fraud that we often see with credit cards, in which people make a purchase and then contact the credit card company to make a chargeback, effectively reversing the transaction.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Is Capable To Prevent All Types Of Fraud on: February 11, 2017, 05:08:35 PM
With Blockchain there would be no human interaction involved in the escrow process. By employing smart contracts, data-driven computer algorithms will verify the authenticity of any transaction, and wait for confirmation from both parties before releasing the funds. As this is all based on a computer making the decision, there is no element of corruption involved
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: February 11, 2017, 09:42:06 AM
The important thing to know about Martingale is that it doesn’t increase your odds of winning. Your long-term expected return is still the same. You can’t escape from that.
What the strategy does do is delay losses. Under the right conditions, losses can be delayed by so much that it seems a sure thing.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Will Supersede The Eintire Financial System ? on: February 11, 2017, 09:39:23 AM
Some of the banks have publicly admitted they see Bitcoin and other digital currencies as a threat. There is a fear that they will be made redundant and that consumers and businesses will prefer a system that supersedes having to deal with currency exchange based on global location.
