So instead of making a profit in 5K$, they could make a profit with 3K$? Also, the 7nm asic developed for Bitmain... is like having two s9 with the same electricity consumption so maybe it's 50% more profitable?

So after the release of the asic to the public, the price went down quickly and it will until 3k$-4k$ as the sending day approach?
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2018, 12:34:46 AM
Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh

First of all what's normal for you 20k? if you have Bitcoin since... 600$ or 500$ you would be worried? So.. I don't think you're long-time hodler if you were you would't asking this.

There always has been FUD in this ecosystem since it beginning, Just imagine those people who bought at 10$,20$,30$. they didn't worry itself when bitcoin declined from 1200$ to 100$.

But man to be honest what's normal for you?  that it's the question don't feel bad for the price of bitcoin, Feel bad for you by don't understanding the game of speculation.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why does the Bitcoin price keeps nose diving? on: November 21, 2018, 12:27:11 AM
Because Bitcoin price isn't ready to start pumping it yet, and.. Bakkt has been delayed to January so there are not good news for anyone.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

Ahí veremos
Quote
Trust depth (max 4):

665  Local / Servicios / Re: Empresas Argentinas que aceptan Bitcoin o Ethereum, directa o indirectamente on: November 19, 2018, 10:38:07 PM

Smiley Smiley Smiley
If Sec accept Bitcoin ETF , we can expect the huge bull run for the market .
What do you think ? Will Sec accept bitcoin ETF ?

I don't think we gonna get an ETF of bitcoin accepted anytime soon, even the SEC doesn't know what to say about bitcoin ETF and they're trying to extend.

Just check this..

667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2013 and 2018 on: November 13, 2018, 10:36:28 PM
in 2013, the bitcoin condition that affected the value of bitcoin was very good, Germany legalized bitcoin and considered "private money", zipzap services increased the volume of bitcoin for 2014, 12000 restaurants in US received transactions using bitcoin, and ebay also received services for bitcoin transactions.

and that is a positive condition that can make bitcoin have a higher value, and in reality, bitcoin creates graphics better than in 2012.

and today, we see that many positive conditions, but do not affect bitcoin to create bullish, what happens with bitcoin?

What happens now is that Bitcoin market it's more mature, to make an example I would choose the last two ETF denials or extensions. The expectancy of an approval it was pretty low so its reflected in the price because is what everybody knows, same happens with the altcoin market. We are going in a maturation stage, so until we see the biggest capitals joining and accepting their stakes of bitcoin the price will not move so much.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 13, 2018, 10:29:05 PM
Democracy is truly a very broad term which could be used in a thousand of ways to support or refute what Bitcoin is promoting. However, as for me, I would prefer to stick to the fact that democracy represents the majority. And the majority is a representation of a desire to emancipate themselves from the claws of the rich and the powerful few. Bitcoin is on their side.

Bitcoin It's a great example of democracy but I don't think everybody opinions are always right. You should take in mind that worlds wars happened because a majority of people in some countries agreed with an idea.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you most interested in learning about? on: November 13, 2018, 10:19:16 PM
In the world of bitcoin, I wanted to see what people are most interested in learning about. Here we have presented a few options to get a better feel for the community here on BitcoinTalk. Please select which topic you would like to learn more about as we continue to develop bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

For me it's how to get verified in the Bitcoin industry, that's how I want to proceed despite making money with bitcoin directly.

It's a meaningless measure for most of the coins, I don't know why so many people care about this instead of looking to Metcalfe’s Law, NTV, Unique addresses, Transaction value, Mining cost... etc.

If any of you are interested in what I have said before, there's a masterpiece post of introduction in Medium
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when bitcoin becomes stable? on: November 13, 2018, 09:58:30 PM
Many businessmen and investors will invest in bitcoin. Our government will reduce their profit coming from banking services.many of us will benefit the stability of bitcoin. Many businesses will use bitcoin as a prime medium for any transactions like money transfers and they can also use it for accommodating flights, hotel reservations and many more that we can benefit and make it more convenient for us to transact.

They wont invest, why would they? If bitcoin is stable no one will invest. You invest when you are expecting the price to go up, otherwise, why invest? If everyone expects the price to be the same, they wont invest.

There are many things that can happen when you're selling, maybe because you want to take a vacation, you have an emergency o maybe you're too anxious and can't wait for a price increase.

There's only one reason to buy when you expect the price to increase.

Hello ICOBench, you should investigate your experts.

here is another example of many.

Someone warned this expert this ICO was a scam on July 31st 2018.
The Expert gave a review/rating on August 2nd and ICOBench continue with the publication/promotion of this scammer.

Also you should read this forum daily and remove the scams from your website. There are +25 proved scams listed there

Thanks for revealing all of these scams, I used to trust on those websites you have published but now I have lost the faith in all of them.

If these "advisors" accept payments to make a fake rating there's no way I would ever come back to check their websites to check its ICO's.

This is a bullish o bearish news? I know there were some issues with IOHK, but this is the right patch to a renew of Cardano's foundation?

eTracker Web.
