LOL 25k premine for a 50k supply coin.

Don't waste your time boys and girls. Just another "DMD" pump and dump coin by the devs hoping to make a quick few BTC.

0 innovation, 0 use, 0 future.

Stratis is still undervalued in comparison to ethereum. we are still only 1% of Eth Valuation.
Stratis should be more like 10-30% of Eth

Its amazing how coins like Dash and LTC are even going up in price. Both of them literally offer 0 in terms of real work value BESIDES the fact you can mine them and sell them at a high price.

In terms of usefulness Stratis should be #3. BTC, ETH, Strat in that order for real world actual "value".

Hopefully investors will see that and stop wasting time on those 2 coins and invest heavily in Stratis. All we need is a company/angel investor to buy in $1 million right now and watch the stratis price triple overnight...

All this talk of new miners and people going crazy is strangely similar to the grid seed fiasco right before LTC crashed.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I wouldn't always assume it is "weak hands" dumping all their stash. Very reasonable to just be prudent traders following the curves.

Say you have 2k strat to start with. You watch the charts and see that strat is very overbought at $0.83, so you sell your horde. Now you have $1666. After a while the price luls alittle and you see that stratis is starting to enter a short term over-sold period, and what do you know the price is down to $0.80 so you buy back in. Now you have 2,075 stratis.

Sure it is risky to play the short term like this, but do these kinds of trades a few times and you can end up with some nice gains in your amount of stratis even tho the price has not fluctuated alot.

Too risky for my taste tho, I just prefer to HODL the coins I got for $0.03  Cool

409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Powered by my stream... Can it be done?? on: March 24, 2017, 10:10:25 PM
Napkin math here.

433 liters per second is 433 kilograms. KE is 0.5*mass*velocity^2 = 0.5*433*1.6^2 = 554 Joules of Energy.

1 Joule = 1 Watt so your stream will produce 544 Watt of energy if you captured it 100%. Figure 75% effeciency, you are looking at 400 Watt of energy.

Basically you might be able to power 4 lightbulbs if you built a very complex system.

Not worth it. There is a reason why dams are built to house MILLIONS of tons of water and have it fall hundreds of feet before it hits turbines.

There are LITERALLY 100's if not 1000's of replies to threads and comments that literally explain in exhausting detail how to do this.

Use the search function for 5 seconds and find them. Stop clogging the forums with questions that have been answered 5000000000 times

Not to be that guy, but according to the IRS BTC/ETH etc is taxed as INCOME and not claiming it is tax evasion...

Not saying to claim it, just saying.... Especially since you seem to be making quite a pretty penny per day.

My family consists of the wife and I. We live in a very modest 2 bed 2 bath apt, have 0 debt and make over 100k a year.

We spend 1k USD a MONTH ( 250 a week) on groceries at walmart.

People who say you can live in the US just fine on 500 a month are:

Farmers or completely self reliant
Living with Mom and Dad
Free loaders getting full benefits from the government ( and they dont count that as income)
Lying internet trolls

Trademark, while you are a legendary member so automatically everything you say is true and valid and it would be ridiculous for a lowly member such as me to question you, the facts of my statement still stand. Hence since the facts pass the validity test they cannot be considered ridiculous.

I just spend the last 15 minutes browsing through the top 100 wallets on the Strais Block explorer, thinking maybe I was wrong in my assesment. However, the #100 wallet is roughly 189k coins, so we can assume that the 200k wallets are the top 100.

If you look at them, there are lots and lots that are staking, which is great for the network. However, as my previous statement stands, there are very few wallets that are consistently adding more stratis to their wallet besides the staking rewards. I would put the number at less than 5 wallets that were consistently adding stratis to their wallet every so often.

The volume we see on the exchanges is just stratis being traded back and forth. Sorry to break it to you sir ( or mam) but, in the last 24 hours on Poloneix there has been 1.3 million stratis exchanged.

Those 1.3 million stratis have not gone to the top 100 rich list wallets from what can be seen on the block explorer.

Could be the whales keep them in exchanges, and there are indeed 4 or 5 people with GIANT wallets on exchanges.

Or there could be alot of people trading modest amounts of stratis.

10 apples traded between 5 people or 100 people is still 10 apples at the end of the day.

Give it up already man.  Your original post you talked about bots with no owners manipulating the market and whales don't exist and I called you out on it.  That's it.  Also, quit bringing up my bitcointalk rank, it has nothing to do with my replies or anyone elses.  Ranks just mean I've been here longer and I'll get paid more than you on signature campaigns.  lol  Peace!

You lack elementary reading comprehension skills if you think I was implying that these are not being controlled/designed by people.

lol Peace

Why all of a sudden you're mentioning people and not your self controlled bots manipulating the market?  Based on your posts, whales are fairy tales and bots control the prices of cryptos.  Just giving you a reality check here.  Time to wake up man.  BTW, no one is throwing their bct rank around, not even sure why you brought it up.  Bct rank is not an IQ score.

Please tell the whales to hurry up and make the price skyrocket so I can sell my coins.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: February 15, 2017, 08:22:45 PM

What are you talking about?  Bots?  Who control the bots?  Real people with lots of money aka WHALES.  You think the bots were created from thin air and has a mind of it's own and a lot of btcs to manipulate the market.  You're the one that is delusional.  BTCBusinessConsult?  lol, who would hire you with that type of thinking.

So you really believe there are 10 or 15 people who are manipulating the entire price of stratis coin.

Having 1000 people trading 1 btc worth is much more reasonable than having 10 people trading 100 btc.

I guess being legendary status means you get to imply I am not smart/dont know what I am talking about.

Its ok, we are each entitled to our opinions.
