341  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 15, 2014, 05:22:48 PM
I keep hearing speculations that once MtGox reopens withdrawals the price will jump. Should we wait till Tuesday ?

Demon thanks for PM on 9 paid miners. The second message that lists summary of orders now shows substantial deficit 227/300 Sad Will you be able to order even if the price gets above $700?

well i wont have enough BTC to cover the full 300. So unless prices jump over $750
I will be refunding all btc.  Cry

Umm, right now the price of bitcoin on several exchanges is about $630 * .17 = $107.10 A difference of $22 over the $85 purchase price. I feel thats little extreme for an item that is suppose to cost $85.00. 10 Units x $22.00 $220 is a fairly big cost difference.

Dunno

Indeed. What my plan is truly is come sunday at 12:00pm CST is what ever the difference is to pay it back. so in all actually you will be paying $85.00. Its just high right now so just in case.

When do you order ? sunday ?
I am fine with giving you the difference and you refund back the overpayment.

I think ~ $700/BTC range may be a good time to order ?

Agreed at some poit we probably want to lock in a decent fiat price.

How about whatever BTC price is at 12pm CST saturday.?
343  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Open - Group Buy]Gridseed USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner 0.55 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 15, 2014, 11:50:55 AM
2 questions for you. First, if plugging these into a windows do they require a separate power supply for each unit or,can I just use a powered usb hub. Second, how many of these can be ran from a windows machine, third, is there a modified cgminer that will utilize these?

Thanks in advance.

Yes they require a separate PSU. Well windows limit is 100 something usb devices. Shocked  No it uses a modified version of CPU miner.

not to sound bad.. but what is the OP creditability? What prevents him from disappearing with the BTCs?

Sorry to bring this up, but too many hustlers around here

Nothing prevents me from running with the cash and BTC however I have no need to do that. Besides a little research over my SN and it won't take long for someone to find out who I really am. I am not trying to hide who I am.  Wink  Cool

Did batch1 get in yet? And was batch2 ordered?  Can we get an update?

Not yet. Last I heard they have gotten on hold for a firmware update. (The rumored 500-600KH/s) I will let yaw know as soon as I hear something. So sorry for the delay. Undecided

That seems to make the most sense to me. So we owe an additional .063 BTC for each miner correct?

Yes.
I will send out a PM to all clients about this.
The Deadline is still Sunday 12:00pm CST.
346  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 14, 2014, 09:34:01 AM
only fair way is figure out the new cost...we pay the difference or you refund original amount.  give it to sunday as a deadline

That will probably be the best route.
I will make a deal with ya.

The new price will be BTC0.17 a DIFFERENCE of BTC0.063 per unit HOWEVER if the price of btc goes back up past $750 then i will refund the full amount of the Difference paid.

BTC1 =

Unless ya have a different idea.
347  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Open - Group Buy]Gridseed USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner 0.55 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 14, 2014, 08:24:56 AM
i thought the price was 0.472

I'm down for 4.

still confused on what exactly i would need to run these. just the power supply you are linking? eveything else will be provided ?

run them is the psu that i put on the main op.
If you are going to run them off of a windows machine then just plug the cable in the usb slot.

they were 0.472 for batch 1.

although with BTC dropping the price had to go up.

if prices keep dropping I will have to ask for more BTCBTCBTC. Those that paid via PayPal is still fine.
349  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 13, 2014, 07:14:00 PM
I have 18 units backed out. As of right now.

lock these up sbfree!
I am sure he will. Although not everyone has paid so he maybe waiting till sunday after the cut off time so I can tell him a final number of units not paid
I'll take 5 more if no one wants them.

PM sent.

Hmmm Heres a good question on what to do..

300 miners costs currently this much.

If you break that down its about BTC0.127 a unit.
And I am asking BTC.107
If you times that by 300 I am short by BTC5.71.. so now the question is what to do.

I have opened up a Donations address to help get that amount.
