541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: January 01, 2018, 04:53:46 PM
I think there is bitcoin with the same fees and the cost or value equally. Due to the rising Bitcoin network fees we feel there is a need to revisit the LocalBitcoins transaction fee system. In order divide the costs of handling Bitcoin transactions in a fair manner we are introducing deposit fees for incoming transactions.

The thing is, when the time when bitcoin value was not as today, everyone is good with the transaction fees but when its value rises remarkably, people are scratching their heads everytime they have their bitcoin transactions because they feel that it is way to much when they try think of the value of the fee.
542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 01, 2018, 04:49:57 PM
Yes, trading is unpredictable job but when you stay closely with the coin cap market along with the help of online article and crypto currency news site. Trading of crypto currency is predictable.

It just takes some practice and dedication to learn the ins and outs of cryptocurrency trading and you will be good. I am not saying that it would be easy and there is no risk - there is risk and more risk there is if you will not equipped yourself with the right mind setting and trading skills.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: January 01, 2018, 04:40:33 PM
I played slots many times already, i like it but not my first choice. Though if you are lucky you can win bigtime but if you are unlucky that time, you realize that your money is gone in just a snap. I do gamble for fun that is why slots is not the type of game of me.
You'll only win in slots when you are lucky because that kind of game is based on luck, I think this should only be played for fun as we can never take it seriously as this game will only make us addicted when we are challenge so much. I like to play it but I like sports betting even more, at least I can enjoy watching games when I'm betting and the result is not instant, I have more time to enjoy my money even if I lose.

Every game and not only slots but I dont really care because I play for fun. If you want to play a game that will give you some fun, it is going to be slot because the suspense of playing the game is so high . Most slots have jackpot as well so imagine how great things could be if you win the jackpot while you are just having fun there

That is a better way to look at it. You play and have fun and if you win a jackpot that's great but don't play just to win the jackpot because then it will become boring and you can't expect to profit it might just happen or it might not. That why most lose so the winners take the losers money but you still have a chance to win and someone must win so we know it is a fair chance we have.

I agree with you mate that if we just play for fun and entertainment and with the money that we can afford to lose without letting us greedy and aim for profit, gambling can be very fun and stress reliever. However, if we focus on getting profit, then it would not be that much of a fun most of the time.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: January 01, 2018, 04:36:47 PM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?

Yes l think exoerience matter in gambling because it is a help to win the game. You can have the idea what strategy to make to win the game. God of gamblers used to study for the strategy in gambling for them to win the game. I saw it because my father was a  God of gamblers. He has to win the game so he try his best to study how to gamble and win.He practice always until he made it perfect. No gamblers want to lose, so it's good to a gambler to have an idea before he goes to a gambling site.

When the game is based on pure luck, experience does not matter that much because all is based on pure luck - you can do some delaying of losing it all though by creating more sessions and do some calculations but there is no much of a guarantee because from the fact that everything is based on pure luck.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: January 01, 2018, 04:00:28 AM
Why is someone get addicted to gambling once he gamble ?
Because when you win in gambling game you are satisfy you feel good and you are happy, after that  your feelings is to play again beacause gambling give's short happiness to every player. When you are lose your mind command you to revenge so this is why gambling is so addicted.

Winning in gambling is indeed a satisfaction, especially if we are winning big in gambling. We can't help but to be an addict in gambling if the case is that we are always winning, but too much loses could also lead to addiction because of the desire of winning back the money that have been lost. So if you can't control yourself in the first place, then don't gambling.
Well, winning makes us feel more excited and happy feelings are also more, and when we are in a state of excitement, we can hardly stop, we will continue playing gambling to get this feeling, as you say, it is satisfaction, we want to satisfy ourselves, gradually it will make us addicted to gambling. And when we lose, we feel very uncomfortable, our instinct is to always want to win in any game yet, losing is something unacceptable, we can say it is a dissatisfaction, and want to solve this problem, we need to find the win and recover the loss, that makes us gambling more and become addicted to gambling more easily, casinos are really very wise because they understand the psychology and instinct of humans
Excitement as well as hunger. The hunger to make more money than you have got basically makes you so much addicted to it and then it becomes difficult for you alone to get a release from it. People like to continue this thing until their winning ratio is greater than the losing one, when they start losing the games and their losing ratio rises, they reduce the limit of their gambling amount and meet smaller losses.

That hunger of winning maybe a greed already - whether it is a greed or not, that is one of the big motivating factors that lead a person addicted to gambling. However, as long as we play just for fun and not for profit with the money that we can afford to lose, we are good.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: December 30, 2017, 02:01:58 AM
if you want to have fun and taking the risk to lose your money then it is your right to gamble it is your money anyway but if you want your money to grow you can choose to invest, you can have research or making a survey which is the legit  so you can avoid scam.
I agree with you. Gambling can give us profit but only if we are ready to face huge looses. Gambling can even make individual bankrupt and is worst in terms of earning hard earned money. But instead investing that money is always good as investing can be profitable in the betterment of our future whereas gambling can just give you some amount of money which will be over soon. I would always prefer to go for Investment rather than gambling.
the point are that gambling are so risky , you can earn good amount of money but also become poor because of gambling. the risk you take there always worth . so no wonder if you can see someone who become a billionaire in gambling could become the poor and broke at the same day too.

really , it is not something that can compared with investment , where the risk are not as much as when you do gamble.

Gambling games that are based on pure luck is really risky and could make your bankroll go zero in no time when you are not careful enough. However, there are other gambling games that are not that risky when you are skillful enough of the game like: poker, sportsbetting, and the like.
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: December 29, 2017, 12:38:26 PM
There are so such medium that can be use to predict the market Value of bitcoin accurately.
In fact the value of bitcoin fluctuates in the market which no one know when it will increase or decrease; but you may consider the external factors which can affect the price like performance of economy, FOREX, demands and so on.

In other words, you need to master the skill of trading and its scope is so wide that you need to learn the current events apart from the technical analysis and cross check so that you will have an intelligent speculations on when to open and sell positions.
548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: December 28, 2017, 10:39:40 AM
In my business plan i will start selling when price of BTC hit 50K$ and i hope it will soon hit this price because now more and more people are taking interest in BTC while also many big investors have also started investing in BTC due to which price of BTC is increasing. So i still hold my BTC and i will also advise you people to keep hold your BTC for right time.

Holding btc is the right thing to do or if you are good at trading, that is also good to take a risk to in order to accumulate more btc than just holding. $50k of 1 bitcoin might be possible, who knows?
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: December 27, 2017, 01:41:54 PM
I think it's fair if you have a big transaction on the blockchain. I am okay with that transaction fee that they (market exchange) impose as long as the transaction time is fast and the blockchain will not leave your transaction unconfirmed because that's the unfair thing to me.

That is why it is really important that we make it sure that we will not be going to have several transactions - we should plan when to transact and make it sure that we do it with a bigger amount of btc. I would rather hold btc and use fiat money for day to day financial transactions.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: December 26, 2017, 12:01:08 AM
I'm not worried about the volatility. In fact, I'm more worried about how Bitcoin is fairing right now in terms of how it handles transactions. Not looking good so far.

What do you mean by fairing? Volatility is a good thing, especially for the traders. Volatility is very normal even in forex trading. The more volatile, the more traders will be coming in.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: December 25, 2017, 11:57:25 PM
Why wouldn't it be fair? It isn't something that is chosen randomly by miners I don't think it is based off the price of bitcoin. Since bitcoin keeps rising it only makes sense that transaction fees do to. It is unfortunate because it makes btc harder to trade especially if you send smaller amounts but I am sure with this project on the cusp of a trillion dollars next year they can easily solve this problem.

That is true - when the price of bitcoin is going high, the amount of transaction fees in btc is just the same but the corresponding value of it is big when the price is high. Hence, nothing really change and all you have to do is to transact less as much as you can.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 25, 2017, 11:55:16 PM
Thanks to Bitcoin we can become our own banks, we don't have to trust any third party. You can even run your own node if you don't trust anyone in the network. It will take some time before people will learn the benefits of owning your private keys. Probably, they will be always web wallets because not every person is capable of securing money on their own. Also, even if less people would use "crypto banks", someone still have to give loans.

That is true. When you have lots of money, you need to have banks where you are going to deposit it. But with bitcoin, all you need to have is a bitcoin wallet and your privacy key and that is it - no one knows that you are wealthy but yourself Smiley
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: December 25, 2017, 11:52:26 PM
I don't usually play slots because there are other games which have better odds like Blackjack, poker, craps, etc. However, it is fun every now and again.

Funny story... I was in the casino once and saw a lady rubbing the screen for "good luck" before each spin.

Sorry, but rubbing the screen doesn't give you better luck. Cheesy

lol. Some gamblers have these sorts of ceremonials before they are going to bet to get the desired outcome. Nothing wrong with that but should realize the fact though that there is a house edge advantage.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: December 25, 2017, 11:50:59 PM
Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.

You cannot compare a very unstable asset to a completely strong and stable asset like gold. Gold has been the currency of the world from the very beginning of civilizations and then there comes the coin and paper currencies and now the digital asset. A digital asset cannot be used in every place in the world, but gold it is accepted everywhere even in a place where digital technology is not present. Gold will live until the end of time but digital currencies might not last forever.

You have the point there mate but I would like you too get a look at the digital thing angle - think of internet, facebook, email, and other forms of online things, do you think it may end up anytime soon? Gold will always be there and so with the things I just listed, right? With bitcoin or any digital currencies, it maybe  a breakthrough to the future of online transactions who knows.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: December 25, 2017, 11:47:49 PM
I see it wrong if you can't handle your emotions thats it
Not only the emotion but also the money that you are pulling in your pocket when you gamble. Things are becoming wrong when it's too much and as for gambling, when you are gambling too much and you can't control not only the emotion, the priorities, the money and other important things that you need to remember then you are affected in a wrong way.
There are times that we loss control in gambling, instead of spending only what you can afford to lose, you become too aggressive and risk more because you want to get back your loses that is why you chase. That decision is not well think of and most likely it will result to a bigger loses which in the end you will just make regret it, stay calm and discipline in gambling because that is the only way it will make you safe.

When you are too emotional when gambling, you can lose all of your bankroll when you are not careful. Being too emotional makes you rage bet because you want to chase previous loses and that is a bad thing because there is a big risk and chances that you are going to lose.
556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: December 25, 2017, 11:44:08 PM
Trading can be dynamic. I would not say trading is unpredictable because most of the activities in trading comes down to prediction and speculating! The unpredictability may only come if there is a major catastrophic event!

Don't have a certainty to make a profit or have a price that is always high.

Correct. But if you keep on holding it and stay patient, you will soon be at profit when someone will going to pump and the price will go high. It is already a normal thing in cryptocurrency trading though.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: December 25, 2017, 11:40:40 PM
Yeah, I do see people who are addicted after the first bet as using drug and some are boring in gambling after the first bet. So luckily there are still part of people who wasn't interested in gambling.
Those people who are not really interested in gambling doesn't have something to do with gambling addiction. There's no need for them to be mentioned here although there may be some chance that one day they'll become part of it and will experience addiction too.

Being addicted to anything comprises a certain number of processes. There is no such thing as instant addiction - like for example into gambling addiction. In gambling, when you play it regularly and is chasing your previous loses, you will tend to become addicted to it no matter who you are.

Yes playing regularly can get you addicted especially if you have lost a great amount of money but the real addiction starts when you try to win back what you have lost because it makes you think stupidly and you loose concentration on the game.

Once you have already form the habit of playing or gambling regularly, you are already hooked and when you lost big and try to chase those loses, you are fueling and aggravates that addiction.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: December 25, 2017, 11:39:21 PM
This can be simple explained both are highly profitable and risky from some point.
Gambling always have 50-50 chances on win unless you play safe on some small margin bet.
Trading can be little defensive you can cash out if you see that your investment didnt go well or it was a bad call.

exactly, trading can save you a hell of money unlike gambling which can quickly drain your pockets and render you bankrupt trading has limits that you can set to try to control how much you can afford to loose and how much you can gain and the trade stops any time each of these limits is reached.

yes, that's right. In trading, your main goal is to preserve your existing funds as much as possible while trying to gain some. Betting has the same concept, but relying on luck alone will definitely make you lose more often than not.

The good thing with trading compared to gambling is that, as long as you are not selling your altcoins until its price is going high, you are not losing anything. But in gambling, once the outcome is lose or red, you already lost it.
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: December 25, 2017, 11:37:50 PM
Is that true? Does somebody can predict that? I thought btc is unpredictable and decentralized.

You are correct that no one can predict the overall future of bitcoin but you can predict the small up and down of its prices and capitalize on that to get profit with trading cryptocurrencies.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: December 25, 2017, 11:36:22 PM
Trading with low amount is fun, at least you started trading with a real money, it's not a problem actually there's plenty of trading sites that accepts a very small minimum to trade. When I started trading, I did not try any demo, I go right away with my capital in trading and as expected, I lose an amount like every newbie, however those past experience teach me a lot of lessons that brought me to what I am now.

With cryptocurrency trading, I don't think that there is a demo account though. But yes, I agree with you mate that trading with a little amount of bankroll during your first time is very exciting and enjoyable.
