541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 22, 2022, 09:49:26 AM
Don't put your real name on it. That's how you secure your privacy. About them publicly telling the winner is with full name and details then that is wrong.
Can you give an example of a crypto base casino or any gambling site that did this? Perhaps we could dig deeper on why they did it.
I only know people who won big that are publicly seen are streamers, but I doubt those are real and maybe they are just being funded by the casino itself to show the possibility of winning the jackpot.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: World going to Crisis and money saving mode but good to start trading on: October 21, 2022, 03:13:35 PM
"There's not enough funds." So where will the money come from? Loans? You're digging your own grave by doing that.
All the reason why investors are being picky with their investments, not even trading because it's too risky and it needs a lot of study before you become a successful one. It's not like $100 will go anywhere, it will make a couple of $ or 3 from scalping or high-risk day trading but that might be it for the day.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 20, 2022, 04:27:18 PM
This 29 year old, Damion Lee, played very well for the Suns in his debut match for the team, I'm very impressed with him. While it is true that only 11 of his points can be found on the statistics board, it is not enough to prove his worth as a player. He has contributed to the team in many more ways. In total, he played for about 20 minutes on the court. It is quite likely that anyone who has watched him play in this game will agree with me that he had a more than decent performance.

I also think that his coordination with the other players on the team is quite efficient. So, the chemistry between the players is going to be positive if he is on the court and able to play well.

When I say "be able to play good", I am really referring to the ability to contribute to the team as a whole. It is not just about scoring more points. In addition, he is the kind of player who can actually provide importance to the team even if he does not score points.
He always plays decent even back at the Warriors. It's just that, he was not given enough minutes to play and show his skills.
I think it's also credits to Coach Monty Williams, he didn't take him back to the bench when he saw he was having a great night. Some coach will not do that to give way to the star players and earn their rightful minutes per game.
Bench players should learn from this action by Lee. When you are given an opportunity, maximize it as much as possible just like how he did it.
544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 19, 2022, 12:57:31 PM
Crypto Exchange also had the same problem before in countries where their base is. But look at them now, they are still growing in numbers.
Crypto Gambling sites will end up the same way. As long as they have the papers to tell they are legal/paying taxes then they don't have to be afraid of anything.

If none is showed, then that's where the problem begins but I doubt they are incapable to iron things out. They have the money and it's easy to do lots of things as long as you can pay.
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the bottom of this bear market BTC on: October 17, 2022, 03:18:30 AM
Vote is for 15k+. I don't think it will go down that number any time or anymore. Even though it's volatile it's strength now is higher than it was years ago.
Many investors still believe that it is the best cryptocurrency to hold for a long time than any altcoin or new projects that claims they will topple it.
All we need is to wait for the bull run once this world economy goes back to normal or better, and the war ends in neighbor countries.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 15, 2022, 04:39:41 AM
This will be a sad ending if you don't have enough in your bag, and you keep on losing until you are depleted.
It's a strategy for the rich, I hope you are. It's not really new though, and this works best using cryptocurrencies where you could start really small.
Something like Dogecoin if it's available but it will still depend on how much the minimum bet the online casino is accepting because some of them are using dollar base exchange in cryptocurrencies.
Example: 17 Doge minimum = $1
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Competition in business on: October 14, 2022, 03:12:57 PM
In any industry, competition will definitely happen. Only those who have limited resource will lack competition. i.e. gold and oil.
But there will be alternatives, and this is a big industry now.
Instead of oil they use electricity now and I have seen a lot of electric vehicles in my neighborhood. I guess the oil price hike did affect them by a lot and so they changed their way of transportation.
Speaking of transportation, there's also a big change in this business. People who had been using motorcycles are now using bicycles to save money, so I guess that business is growing in demand too.
I think competition will also depend on the economic needs. Like right now because of inflation we have to be thrifty, so we use things that does not require daily spending. i.e. gas
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 13, 2022, 04:18:17 PM
Agree with that, it seemed like the consequence is very light, it was a clear violence, he should be suspended at a very least. Well, that's how NBA works,  the system is not fair as it favors more to players whom they think is very valuable to a team.
It is. I thought they are clear about how strict they are with the rules, but it seems like they are short on this one case about Draymond Green.
Anyway, he will be back in the roster, and it was said in reports that him and Poole already talked. I wish there won't be another incident like this and Green have learned his lesson. There will be eyes everywhere and he should be careful about his sudden uncontrollable anger.

Nuggets seems to have a lot of talent this year after a win against the Clippers. I wish they could avoid injuries from now on. Jokic will need all the help he could get.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contests do you want to see on the Dice platform? on: October 12, 2022, 04:12:41 PM
Wagering amounts had always been the best contest ever when it comes to dice. It will boost the amount of players online and the number of bettors per second/minutes.
Let a percentage of the amount they bet put in one storage or a bank and divide that for giving out prizes for those who gamble more.
If you have an automated roll included, I am sure the site will be flooded with more dicers that will try to reach the top prize.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Retailers make more profit than wholesalers during inflation. on: October 11, 2022, 02:35:40 PM
I understand. It may be true but the retail seller here around me is still having troubles with their sales. The reason is the competition.
People will find a way to buy cheaper necessities and they will ask every retail shop about their prices so they could compare it to the nearest they have.
Stocks are also going down and it became a big problem for every retail shop. Their businesses are also in the brink of closing down because they cannot sell anything anymore and ordering it from far wholesalers will mean paying more.
Unless a consumer is forced to buy at a retail shop even at a high price there won't be sales.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 10, 2022, 02:58:37 PM
On the other hand, with what happen on the Warriors, I think, one of them might be traded to the other team, if it's Green, I have a feeling that the Warriors will struggle in the playoffs.
That is hard to tell. Draymond Green is one of the elites of the Warriors and I don't think they would just give him away for it could ruin their plays that was made starting from him. Most of it were just him and Steph Curry, the simplest pick and roll or screen and roll.
He said in his interview that he will fix it which I hope he does. If that clip from TMZ didn't leak out, we won't even know that is happening in camp or locker room. Some NBA player says it does happen, it's just that this one got out of hand.
552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's Price be affected by this? on: October 09, 2022, 03:19:21 PM
There's a lot of discussions about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies being injected to Twitter so I think that's where you get the idea that it could affect the market of those.
I doubt that.
If he loses nothing changed. Now, if he wins then there might be a small effect if ever he successfully does what the rumors said. We are not there yet so let's not expect too much.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 07, 2022, 02:08:52 PM
It's not a scam, it's just gambling. Would you also say that other forms of gambling in the streets are scam? It's just that, the house always has the upper hand. It's up to you if you want to risk it. No one is forcing anyone.
I also have a large amount lost in dice, but I don't blame anyone for that. I decided to risk it, double it, or triple it but I am not that lucky enough.
There are ways to avoid it, choose a game where the decision to win is not by the house but because of your moves. Example: Poker.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 06, 2022, 03:36:42 PM
That's not the case for the Lakers because they cannot win without one of their star players.

Lebron or Davis' injury will drastically affect their chance of winning, just like the Clippers when Leonard and Paul George was injured, although they were still competitive but they are not the same without their star players.
It's true. But Paul George did something great when Kawhi was out.
About the Lakers, it's not like its a one man team now or two man team which only rely on Lebron and AD.
They have PatBev and Westbrook which I think will be a big impact for the team if their coach would let it.

Ham is different than Vogel. It's not like he have focus for defense only. I have seen Westbrook play this preseason and there is a difference than what he was last year. We cannot tell it just yet.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 05, 2022, 12:21:22 PM
What you did was a better choice. If you are not fond of waiting for the bounty tokens to create value in the market, then just pick those who pays with coins can be sold in the market immediately. Because of their lower success rate nowadays that will be simplest way to make money out of your efforts to advertise them.
But remember, there are times their tokens could grow tenfold, and the rewards will be satisfying. All is up to you.

I have not heard of any new players joining the Lakers who are young and have great potential. LeBron James is getting old and it is obvious that his age is taking a toll on his performance. Looking at the Lakers team right now, we will see good experience and good players who have been around before. Anthony Davis is probably the only player who is reliable but I don't know if he is someone whom you can build a team around. Russell Westbrook and LeBron James are just too old right now. The Lakers are obviously going to have big changes in the future but till then it will be interesting to see how they can perform.
Yes, Anthony Davis is a player whom they can build a team around. Maybe Lakers will keep him for long even after Lebron James retires. It's not easy to find a big man like him who can shoot outside, has good freethrow percentage, and can-do post up plays perfectly.
It could because of what happened before when they have Lonzo, Randle, Kuzma, DLo in their roster, it failed, and it traumatized them to repeat that kind of mistake again. That's why they are not recruiting young guns.
558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: September 30, 2022, 02:43:12 PM
Divided investments. A wide variety of options was created. You name it, from memecoins to NFT, Metaverse, and more.
Because of that, we don't see money flowing in the main cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
I guess what we could do is choose wisely about where we would put our money in. Because there's a chance, we are just wasting too much capital in trash coins and then there goes our time and effort too.
We won't get loud again unless it stops.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 29, 2022, 11:25:19 AM
There's a lot of gem in the cryptocurrency market. One is BNB. Value appreciation is high as it is mostly used for BSC transaction and in their trading platform for cheaper fees. I was not lucky enough to buy it at a cheaper price though when Binance was not that popular.
I am sure about buying Ethereum now though as it is in the position where investors are doubting what could happen next. There's no assurance yet that it would pump it's price after the Merge.

Their head coach will not be replaced if he does not commit a violation.

he was suspended for this coming season
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/09/23/boston-celtics-suspend-head-coach-ime-udoka-for-upcoming-season.html

So let the assistant coach handle the job, and let's see if he can still make Celtics a great team.
Let's hope so.
Here's a statement of Joe Mazzulla.
Quote
"It's not about carrying on from one person," Mazzulla said during the team's media day here in the Boston suburbs. "It's about carrying on the identity of our players. We had our struggles early last season, but at our best, we knew what our identity was. It was our defense, it was our buy-in from a defensive standpoint, and then it was sharing the ball and moving quickly on the offensive end.
"So as much as we can stick to the things we were great at last year, and then find areas to improve along the way, I think is the right way to go."
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34671406/jaylen-brown-boston-celtics-set-put-our-best-foot-forward-interim-coach-joe-mazzulla
Marcus Smart:
Quote
"Joe has been here. He knows the scheme, he knows the players, so it makes it a little bit more easier to adjust to a guy that's been here and knows you."
I doubt they will have a problem with Joe. 3 years being an assistant coach from Brad Stevens to Udoka.
Most players of the Celtics know him as they didn't change their roster that much. This could be Joe's time to shine if ever he manages to put the Celtics in a good position this season.
