Because bitcoin is decentralized which is a complete opposite of how the government works, which is centralized. They cannot control bitcoin and
its uses. So they go to banning them. Though I think banning bitcoin is not an effective move because cannot really ban bitcoin. It is better if they just regulate it or the exchanges of bitcoin.

According to my experience if you gamble loaned money then its a high probably that you will loose that money too . Keep my advice and never gamble loaned money.

You're right about the volatility. As is stands now, bitcoin could not be reliably used as a national currency. When more people in the world are involved in bitcoin, the price would be significantly more stable.
Bitcoin is strange in terms of privacy- it's fairly anonymous normally, but once your name has been associated with an address, it's easy to track your activity on a personal basis (and that information never goes away). You'd have to associate your name with addresses if you have to pay taxes or interact with the government. Employers would also know your address and potentially what you spend your money on.

we cant able to spend bitcoin in our regular life because of the huge confirmation time and transaction fees . It always depend on transaction fees which will decide the transaction time . I highly doubt it will recover till that level. First of all there are still rumours that all foreign BTC exchange will also be banned by GFW, then we have the 2x segwit thing in November, so with such big uncertainty, it would be unwise to invest heavily. People will buy the dip, but will not push the price too high.
