121  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayIvy ,how to withdraw and use? on: April 21, 2015, 04:34:04 PM
i was thinking of using payivy to sell some online product but when i visited that site i was unable to find a withdraw page.
how do i withdraw from there?i have already sold a product but am unable to withdraw.

If you were selling for PayPal, then you should've filled in your PayPal email and it should've been sent to you.
If you were selling for BTC, then the money is lost if you didn't fill in your BTC address. Contact PayIvy support.
122  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-18] BREAKING: GAW Miners CEO Admits to Charity Fraud, Scandal Continues on: April 19, 2015, 01:01:22 PM

Maybe he will end up in the same prison as Mark K?
Oh wait...

i think so,he going to end up in jail ...

No, he's not. He's still at large, with his cat, and he is still billing gox for webhosting services.
Garza is in the US, which basically means he only has a very slim chance to escape.
123  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: April 18, 2015, 09:23:52 PM
... I think there's more chance of getting my money back if friedcat appears, .....

-facepalm images-

I believe what I believe. There's no need to be offensive about it.
124  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: April 18, 2015, 07:36:21 PM
They are forcing you into it though...giving you no real choice. I am not sure how that works in China, but in the USA it would not fly. If it were me I would take the settlement then sue those scammers. If anything you can at least cause them a lot of problems if they were not paying tax or whatever China requires on it.

This is crypto, it would not pay off for almost nobody besides a few biggest holders. It sucks but I do not think people have any real option but to take it. The deadline expires in 2 days.

I rather not take it. The compensation is so minuscule, I think there's more chance of getting my money back if friedcat appears, and that it's worth more to not conver than to convert.
125  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring credit card manager, click to know details on: April 18, 2015, 05:34:15 PM
So basically you want to buy stolen credit card numbers?
126  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-18] BREAKING: GAW Miners CEO Admits to Charity Fraud, Scandal Continues on: April 18, 2015, 03:32:49 PM
Well, what choice did he had ?  Cheesy

I would've expected him to deny it and say that the emails were faked or something. It's surprising to see him admitting something, maybe someday he'll confess that he's an absolute scumbag? Tongue

It's amazing how these guys keep burying themselves deeper. They're going to need more shovels for the next scandal...

Yup. It'll be fun to see if there really was any Money Laundering involved in all this. If Garza is helping ISIS or something then that'll be BIG NEWS.
127  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pbmining.com finally went dark on: April 18, 2015, 02:29:52 PM
Site is down now.  Say goodbye to your investments!

I'm sure most people already withdrew their money after they got paid practically next to nothing. but my condolences to the scammed ones, anyway.

You can't and you couldn't withdraw your money from PBMining. What are you even talking about?

Thanks for everyone's help. I did a reboot from the GUI and that did the trick.
Also, I tried to add a network extender to my wireless signal and that thing played havoc with my internet connection.
I unplugged the extender, rebooted everything, and then even added my new (used) S4!
I have been hashing at over 3TH/s all night.

The network extender, and the internet intermittance it was causing, was most likely the cause of all my angst.

Happy hashing gentlemen!

This S4 is like some women I have been with ---- HOT and LOUD. LOL

The S4's are beasts they definitely are good miners.  But they do make quite a bit of noise with those fans.

I love them I just would not keep one in a room used for other things.  You really need to put it somewhere dedicated to mining.

You could just keep it in your basement, or in the garage. That way it won't melt everything near it, and it won't bother you.

Well, you d been receiving only dust for the last couple of months anyway and there was no real possibility of them getting back to life. So it s not much of a difference.

Sorry for you loss.

Exactly. Back when payments dropped to dust, you should've considered all your investment to have evaporated. I assume we'll still get paid dust to continue their "contract fulfillment", but we aren't getting anything back.

131  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: looking for some advise on: April 17, 2015, 11:48:58 PM
so how many u2's would I be looking at to meet minimum requirement

U2s are not worth the money. They are expensive, consume a lot of power and they don't provide a lot of hashrate.
Assuming your electricity is free and you want to make 0.01BTC/day, then you would need 500 U2s at current difficulty. This is just a rough example.
132  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hash Rate Cut by 25% - Why? on: April 17, 2015, 11:47:13 PM
Most likely you will have to turn power off/on to get it to full speed. I have one unit that goes from 1T to 800's if it runs for a while.  Seems to be in the nature of some of the C1's.

That is the most basic solution to fixing any electronic appliance. If something isn't working correctly, just switch it off and back on again.
On the other hand, have you tried upgrading the firmware on your AntMiner C1? You can find the link for the updates here:

133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I find best signature campaign for Member? on: April 17, 2015, 11:44:14 PM
check this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=978594.0 this one looks good.
But I don't think you'll get paid if you don't improve your posts.

Yep I will improve my post when I join some signature campaign Wink
Thank you again

It really depends on if you are an active poster or not. If you are an active poster, then you should join a campaign where you get paid per post (but please don't spam). If you aren't that active, you can join a campaign that asks for a minimum of posts per month, and you get paid a fixed amount.
134  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Neteller now is using Bitpay to accept Bitcoin as deposit method - Big news! on: April 17, 2015, 11:38:38 PM
hmm but if I deposit in a merchant like betfair, and them withdraw it, won't it be treated as "normal" founds and then I can use them with my neteller card?

Not sure. It could be seen as originating from BTC (but a bank deposit could be too). Ask support!

He should just try it and see if it works. If it does, then it's an easy way to get around the system, but that could mean that your account gets possibly flagged due to abusing it or something.
135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there anything similar to Brawker? on: April 17, 2015, 11:37:00 PM
You can also get a Bitcoin Debit Card from sites such as Bit-X, ANX, Advcash or Xapo to spend your bitcoins on sites that only accept Credit Cards.

I have also found the original EDM (Email Direct Marketing) for the Remember Hashlet.
It can be found here:
http://us8.campaign-archive1.com/?u=cdea713669f1600ffb2230df5&id=78ae9f69fb&e=6007a608eb

The lie that results in the current situation can also be found there:

The first one we introduced was the Remember Hashlet, to honor those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. We limited the quantity to 500 RememberHashlets. In just a few hours we had $10,000 in total sales income and GAW will donate 100% of that sales money to the 9/11 Memorial Fund.
137  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-16] Factom Will Sell Up to 100% of its Bitcoin Reserves on: April 17, 2015, 03:59:36 PM
Reminds me of the Ethereum Bitcoin dump. They had dumped some 30K coins all of a sudden, which crashed the Bitcoin prices then. And now it is the turn of Factom to dump their coins.
I wonder why they use Bitcoin for their fundraisers and not wire transfers like bitcoins are bought.

That's probably because people can donate small amounts to them easily, and money can also be potentially laundered.

Yup, that's why the Ethereum dump was also referred to in the article.

argh im worried again the last time a company decided to do this the markets went into trunmoil Sad

We are already in turmoil lol.

However, getting the AMHashLC relinquishes your rights for compensation if this shitstorm ever gets fixed. You lose all your rights to get back what you deserve.

ehhh not really you do not loose the slim theoretical chance of legal actions if you accept the liquidation fund compensation.

BTW everything went so silent, have majority of small investors accepted compensation?

will we see more movement here when the expected pay off date has passed?

I'm sorry to inform you that you are incorrect. You do lose your rights.
