81  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Exchange BTC, LTC, USD, EUR, GBP | Instantly Mine & Trade GH/s on: May 11, 2015, 04:28:25 PM
EUR denominated cards are now fully functional!

Fees have been lowered and limits have been raised!

The new fees & limits are as follows:

Visit https://bit-x.com/account/balance to order your card today!

Regards,
Bit-X.com
I think that 0.005 btc per transaction is a bit much. That is roughly 1.21$, and for most small transactions that I do, that is a bit much. Remove the POS fee, maybe a slightly higher trade rate (when you put money on the card) to compensate for the no fee, but a static fee like this is too much.

I had the impression that it directly deducts from your BTC balance, just like the Xapo one. I don't think there is a balance stored as USD.
82  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hashtalk.ch hashtalk.org is it a SCAM? on: May 10, 2015, 03:56:19 PM
It all was a scam !!! It is inconceivable that he may get away with it ! He stole millions from his customers, including me. I am argry and want revenge.

There's really nothing you can do about it, except for filing reports at various government departments.
Many people lost a large amount of money. You're not the only one.
83  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anybody used "Weselldoges" before? on: May 10, 2015, 01:20:34 PM
Selling Doge and not selling BTC? Why?

They are only selling altcoins atm. It might also be something related to policies.

No, I have not used it before.

What is the need of this post?

They sell dogecoins for the dogecoin community, since they're always happy to buy more via any means available (paypal).
The guy posting above is simply answering the question by OP. However, the post really is a bit unnecessary.

85  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Exchange BTC, LTC, USD, EUR, GBP | Instantly Mine & Trade GH/s on: May 08, 2015, 11:32:51 PM
Thanks for sending me BIT-X card, i added it to my account there, but I didn't order any.
Is this free as I am in first 10000 users or what? I prefer to use my card when it will have 3D enabled, so far it hasn't. Plus I am funding via BTC, just bought 18 GHS for 0.03 BTC, you guys are quite expensive, I hope you are worth it.

You were sent one as you were verified! There are no active monthly fees for the first 10,000 users, correct. Other fees still apply.

Bit-x is doing really great and there are no competitors around. Smiley

ANX, AdvCash and WageCan are.

CloudMinr.IO, CloudMining.website and BitcoinCloudServices.com dominate the Cloud Mining Market.

I was referring to debit/prepaid cards.

There is a mistake in your statement though. It should be scam or ponzi market, not cloud mining market. Hope you got it.

No. Indeed you are promoting a SCAM in your Sig. Surprised ? See... I'll ask a Q to your employer and how miserably he'll fail to answer...

He is not my employer and BIT-X isn't ponzi as what you advertise.

Bit-X is a blatant SCAM in the making like Hashie/AM hash. See, how miserably your employer has failed to provide a mining address. It is now clear like daylight that Bit-X bribed BitFury to get a vouch for legitimacy.

What you are saying does not prove that it is a scam either. You might as well say that all cloud mining services are scams and they are paying others to sign blocks for them...
86  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] $50 PayPal on: May 08, 2015, 06:06:56 PM
Are you able to split? I only need 35$ in paypal, not 50$. I will go first, however I will send you the price -12%, because of the chargeback risk.
I will send you 30.80$ in btc for 35$ in paypal. Agree? Then please PM me:)

I can do any amount lower than $100.
I am not taking fees that are larger than 5%.
I am trusted enough here for you to know that I won't chargeback. Also, I am sending as friends/family.
Ohh... Ok then. Maybe we can work it out? How about 8%? I dont want to go under that bar aswell Smiley

My willingness stands at 5%.

Trusted around here, not going to scam you for $50.
Rates are negotiable, but don't cross the line.
May go first depending on your trust.

Btc. I have up to $70 PayPal now.
89  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: local bitcoin question on: May 07, 2015, 04:45:07 PM
Seems like I have to trust him that he has cash and is going to show up to the meet.  But yet he doesn't have to trust me and I have to prove I have the btc.  Doesnt make sense to me.  With hearing exchanges shutting accounts for using localbitcoins I am only doing face to face transfers.

Thats why you can use escrow to proof it to them and ask him to send it to the escrow too, after you guys deal and escrow proof it that is right escrow can start to do the trade. Let escrow do the rest, it will be easier. With using escrow everything will be alright but make sure you guys deal first on having escrow

No, what are you even saying? Read the damn post properly. It's a face to face trade. What are you saying about "ask him to send it to the escrow too"?
The buyer is just needlessly preoccupied. By simply signing a message no escrow is needed.

Im asking him to use escrow because its easier and smooth rather than face to face and need to confirm so many things. Paying escrow for a little bit but things went smooth whats wrong with that?

Correct.  I fail to see why I need to use escrow in a face to face trade.  Only response I got from buyer was that he didn't think I had the funds and wouldn't show up to the meet.  Which to me makes no sense at all.  Maybe he was just trolling me and wasting my time.  Purpose of this thread was just to see if this could be a scam of some sort.

Why should I wasting your time here? I just suggest you something good and thats all

Again, read the message. I insist on you doing so because otherwise your reply is completely meaningless.
He is talking about the buyer, not you.

Transfer the btc that the buyer wants to a seperate address and then prove ownership by signing a message.
Done.
92  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2015 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: May 06, 2015, 08:58:15 PM
just want to remind, the most of financial frauds is in Hongkong

Uh, any evidence to back that up? I personally think that you are very wrong about that.
Hong Kong is in China but it isn't China, FYI.
93  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Deposit Neteller? on: May 06, 2015, 08:49:43 PM
I do not understand?
I must to register to bitpay ? I must to download  app?

No. BitPay is a merchant service. For you, the user, all you have to do is send the specified amount to the specified address.

95  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 16$ worth of Paypal with Bitcoin on: May 06, 2015, 05:13:16 PM
I can do this, but since I have a considerable amount of trust, I request a minimum of $16 for $16.
I really wouldn't throw away this account by scamming you for $16, lol.
96  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: May 06, 2015, 04:22:34 PM
A little off-topic from the normal "how the site works" here, but did the guy that got in trouble over someone using a stolen credit card to send his order ever get it resolved? And have there been any other reports since then?

As far as I know, Purse paid all the legal fees for him and got him out of the mess. Haven't heard anything similar since then.
97  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hashtalk.ch hashtalk.org is it a SCAM? on: May 04, 2015, 05:41:05 PM
I'm pretty sure it's against google ads' terms to display their ads on websites without TOS/Privacy information. Time to report?

That would be quite interesting, seeing as GAW and Garza keep breaking laws. I just can't believe their negligence, they're so dumb, they even overlook simple things like this.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin IOUs replace actual bitcoins? on: May 04, 2015, 05:35:23 PM
However, the implementation of this would be very difficult. This requires huge trust, since the central authority who is storing the coins isn't decentralized. However, if all the addresses containing the coins are publicized, it allows for a lot of transparency to make sure every IOU is backed up.

It is a very good idea, but the huge difficulty is at its implementation.
99  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pbmining.com finally went dark on: May 04, 2015, 05:33:11 PM
And I got a dust payment today.....

I also got dust payment equal to 1 penny if lucky. Site is still live but should be taken down

It won't be taken down. There was a leaked email where the owner said that he would continue to dust, because it supposedly means that they haven't void the contract, since you are still being paid.
Oh well. Still meaningless to me.

I'm kinda confused, are you selling the method or the account?

The account. I will make the account for you.
