261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MillToken! The Token that only grow! on: April 16, 2018, 07:33:32 PM
There is no need for a soothsayer to know that this is an outright scam but the surprising thing is that some people will still fall for it then claim how bad the crypto market is when its just too open without stress to see with two open eyes the direction this project is going to. How on earth will a token have no other option than to continue to rise, where is the forces of the market, what is the market base, how many people are using it and several unanswered questions but since its about lending, the bitconnect scam comes to mind.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAMcoin List - With Substantial Reasons (Warning: No FUD) on: April 16, 2018, 04:47:40 PM
There is no way this won't turn into fud because every ongoing project that is being listed will come and defend why their project is not scam and everyone who post somethint against it would be interpreted as such while others will use it as a means to bad mouth another good project. I even read one that the developer/ promoter was even defending the reason why the name of the team is not open to everybody but at the end of the day, it turned into a scam project. The way out is for everybody to be on the alert that you are responsible for me your own safety first before you come out and shout scam.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: April 16, 2018, 04:33:39 PM
It's  too early to start predicting what will happen when we didn't even know the total number or teams that would even be participating in the tournament if the rows between Russia and other western countries. Let's say they all participated, we then need to know how many are going to make it beyond Round 16. Its when they get to Quarter final we can start the prediction of which team will win or lose because at this time major teams might end up being the first set to drop out.
264  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The Polish government and MF has just destroyed the cryptocurrencies in Poland. on: April 16, 2018, 04:01:02 PM
There is need for more explanation on what is being put out here because there is absolutely no sense in it whatsoever. I cant imagine telling someone to pay tax based on turnover and not on profit which should be in any ideal country. I see a whole lot of litigations coming up because taxation should not be a way to punish people which this policy is trying to promote. Levy them on profit and not on their losses even in ideal economy, it should be on the net income they get from the exchange sites after deducting the charges they have paid.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another reason for Bitcoin price high on: April 16, 2018, 01:37:30 PM
This is surely one of the reasons why there is a surge in price but not the only reason because Muslims are already involved as the interpretation to them is bitcoin is same as money as money in itself is not sin or unislamic but what is being used for. So also is bitcoin, for someone who trade in bitcoin made money then convert to fiat which is then used to go to Hajj or help the poor. I don't think such individual needs anybody to tell him what he is doing is bad or good.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should now sell coin or not on: April 16, 2018, 05:00:21 AM
you guys give me an idea with me keeping my XLM free I'm puzzled Huh Huh Huh Huh

If you are waiting for someone to approve or disapprove your decision in this crypto world, then you are not ready to face the volatility of this space. The question you should ask yourself is that "who will bear the burnt or gain from this decision?" If its you then the decision should be solely yours. If you have made a decent profit, there is no need to wait to get the major portion of the market, transfer the risk to someone else so the wealth can go round but if you are convinced that the profit is not enough, then you can wait but let it be your decision alone and ready for whatever comes out of it.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: April 15, 2018, 08:34:45 PM
To the best of my knowledge I don't know any agency regulating like we have in the normal economy where gambling and betting sites are regulated by the National Lottery Commission but what I know is where they claim to have licenses from countries like Curacao but I don't think there is any form of regulations in the sense that when there is a dispute, rather than addressing it to those who issue the license, its brought to the forum where its being decided whether the gambling site is the one at fault or not.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: What now? on: April 15, 2018, 08:24:30 PM
As we see the bitcoin value is gradually decreasing again on this moment  which is from 8k the price fluctuate back to $7900 , now we need strong explaination about this which is if it's a normal correction of price or it will decrease gradually  again back to the bottom.  ?

And right now, it has climbed right up above $8000. Bitcoin price does not expect reaction every time there is a change in a purported direction. Most times when price started taking some direction, we are used to it to expect that is what is going to be but alas the volatility is a constant thing that would be there whether the price is increasing. So get used to it and stop reacting every time. It also provides an opportunity to either be on the winning team or otherwise.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How I'm still earning decent money in this bear market on: April 15, 2018, 07:34:13 PM
I think what you have done is to identify an opportunity in every situation that presents itself which is the best thing to do rather than complaining and wishing about how things will get better. However, it does not mean it should be done blindly by the quest to make huge amount of returns. For moneytize promising 40% profit per month, that is way too high and impossible to be sustained on the long-term. I am not saying you pull out, but its a sign that you shouldn't go all in because its seems rosy as at this time.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Binance always blocked when there are big pumps/dumps on: April 15, 2018, 06:44:58 PM
It's not new in this world Smiley. If you've joined this world for years I think it's very normal and Binance is not the only exchange did that. Coinbase is also do the same when the whole market pump or dump Smiley). They often close their exchange to prevent investors and traders from buying or selling cryptocurrency at that time, although they announced that their website has some problems need to be solved but I don't think so cause these problems always appear when BTC and ETH price pump to a new ATH or dump to really low price Smiley).

Its not new, but its also not right. Its bad business to shut people.out during the time they are to make profit when they have taken the risk of holding during the time things were down that they didn't even know for certain if the market would pick up or not but eventually when it did, they were denied the opportunity to make money. All of this unethical business practices are only passing through because there is no regulation and no one to make them responsible that is why they believe they can continue to do it and nothing would happen. Its wrong and should not be allowed.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ways to find a bounty program of your liking on: April 15, 2018, 05:50:16 PM
Okies. I need your help. I am always overwhelmed by the amount of active bounty campaigns. Whenever there is a topic about bounties, every bounty participant is shilling their own bounty program. I get it, but it doesn't make it an easier job find the right bounty.

Finding the right bounty depends on so many things:

  • How are the stakes divided and do you get enough stakes with your profile (member status, amount of followers and such)?
  • How long will it run (and is it still worth joining)?
  • Does the project have any potential?
  • Are token metrics available? Earning 1000 tokens in the end, with a max supply of 300 billion is probably wasted time...
  • Is it about a topic you are familiar with, or do you have enough knowledge about the topic?

Do you have some input?

Please do not post actual bounty programs, I am not interested in that. I am however keen to find out what to take into account when chosing a bounty program?

Some of the things that you have itemised there, as basic as it seems, a lot of bounty hunters are way not bound by that as they are more interested in when the project or coin will get listed when they will sell then move on to the next project. Another thing they are concern about is who is managing the bounty the moment its a popular username, they are going all in without looking back and they is why scam is much over there and before they discover, its already too late.

What to look out for, in addition to what you have there, is the team behind the project entirely if that can be solid chances are high that there is more to the project than time wasting.
272  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What will happen when facebook gets replaced by blockchain?? on: April 15, 2018, 03:31:40 PM
I'm really curious to see how facebook is going to spin their recent scandal. There have been some really good projects popping up that emphasize data sovereignty of personal data.

My recent favorite is Algebraix. Permission-based advertising platform where you get paid to watch ads and disclose info relevant to advertisers, all the while keeping your personal data private. https://algebraix.io/

I really think it's time we end data exploitation. I'm very excited for projects like algebraix and the implications they have for privacy/micro-rewards for the future. Thoughts?

Even after the Facebook scandal about data,  a whole lot of people didn't know except people.conversant with recent happenings in the news which means only the few that are current would want to consider switching to another platform other than Facebook. Facebook would still remain relevant, all we need is to be more careful on the amount of information we share on social media and they have been made to be responsible for their lapses. I don't now know what else we really wanted.
273  Economy / Lending / Re: Personal Loan of 0.5-1 btc repayed in 7 days with 10% intrest on: April 15, 2018, 11:57:12 AM
From the posts I have read, its obvious nobody wants to take you the collateral you are offering as something valid because of the fact that the they have been over valued beyond what they actually worth. My suggestion, if you are sure that those domain worth that much, you just need to sell a portion of it and use the fund you wanted since you are sure of the profit, you can then get it back even at your own time without any pressure of interest reading.
274  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam was a HUGE scam and nobody is talking about it, why? on: April 15, 2018, 11:04:39 AM
Read my post.  They issued arbitration notices from a lawyer that literary is made up.  They are spoofing numbers in the dashboard.  They are completely involved.

Aside from the lending on the forum here where some level of standard is maintained to ensure that collateral is solid, the individual who defaults can be called out, and there is some verification before it can be given out which put control to have a full blown scamming activities, all other platforms are mainly to scam people but they would do it gradually to make people relax before launching which is their primary objective.

There is nothing you can do though because what you should have verified first before partying with your funds only came to your attention when your funds has gone. But its good that you are bringing it out for awareness purpose so others can see and be weary of those that will still come and promise more of this.
275  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for loan.. on: April 14, 2018, 06:27:37 PM
Irrespective of the intention behind the loan and the reason for it, when there is no collateral, its just noise. Even in the fiat world, people get loans from banks with valid collateral and those without collateral, it must be backed with the ability to pay. For your project which is a business to start, I don't think loan is what you need. Again promising that amount of profit and putting a timeline of recovery in two months, that is way above line because businesses don't get their footing in 6 months. Your calculations can be right but I tell you its does not work that way because you leave out where the revenue will come from which is the people coming to play and for them to do that, they must trust the platform which is way more expensive than the amount you need to set up the platform itself.
276  Economy / Marketplace / Re: New type of bitcoin market?!! on: April 14, 2018, 01:37:19 PM
A newbie that's posting this so called "new" bitcoin market.

The same post with this guy, both are newbies. hmmmm?  Huh

Has anyone used this?

It's a newly created forum.

What do you guys think about this idea?
Idea of what? Advertising by asking like you really don't know or part of it?

Sometimes people think that those they intended to fool have not brain on their own to think and even put dots as easy as that together. If you want to advertise a service do that, no one is stopping you. If you want a review, just ask for it and not come here playing hide and seek.

Why are you posting like these posts. To increase activity ?Right? Please put some valuable information rather than this Huh

Increasing activity at this point of the forum without content will just amount to waste of time just like amassing posts without merit, a rank would be there forever and nothing would move it because of the lack of content. Imagine someone coming out to advertise stolen items. In as much that bitcoin promotes anonymity I don't think that should erode our sense of morality for whatever reason.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk says goodbye to facebook on: April 14, 2018, 06:39:16 AM
Today Elon Musk closed all of his company pages on the site and Cambridge Analytica is in a lot of trouble: https://medium.com/algebraix-data/will-data-privacy-be-the-death-of-facebook-3adb383a9aae

With that said, I think we all know that our personal data is being used for profit. This really begs the question: how can we protect our data??

I think that these recent events have opeyyned the door for projects like Algebraix where they're a permission-based advertising platform. You get paid to watch ads and provide info for advertisers. https://algebraix.io/

Thoughts on this??

Facebook went overboard with their action but they have admitted and apologise what else do we need from them exactly? We blame Facebook but forgot to blame the powerful people and politicians who use this data for their of selfish gains. The fact is , if Facebook didn't let go of the details, they can get it from somewhere else with the right amount of funds and what is the different between what government is doing, just hiding under the law to do their own.
278  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I sell bitcoin for bank transfer 10% cheaper than market rate! on: April 13, 2018, 09:06:40 PM
Hello! I sell you bitcoins for bank transfer, the rate is 10% cheaper than the market rate. I cannot use any other bitcoin exchange as I live in a state where bitcoin is banned. With the new laws in place every exchange is forced to report transactions... F*cking politicians!

I got a total sum of 3.28491BTC in my wallet but I accept lower amounts as well.

If you are interested please message me!

This is so.cool offer but I doubt if anybody who is in the know wouldn't want further assurance of this your story. You didn't say which country you are from to know if truly your government have made a position, there is no signed message to confirm that you actually owned that amount you claim, you didn't say any procedure to receive payment. Just by transferring to your account. A way out, you don't need to sell at a discount. If you are ready to do business, I am sure that you are not the only one in the whole of your country involved in bitcoin. Locate the gathering and sell locally without having to deal with the hassle of receiving funds from abroad.
279  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-asia.com legit? PLEASEEE on: April 13, 2018, 03:00:01 PM
Hello everyone , i need to know something about this escrow service... someone have experience with that escrow? Thanks a lot.. Smiley

BTC-asia.com

They claim that they've been operating since 2013 when really their domain has only been created in March of 2014.

Anyways, their site looks completely bogus and I wouldn't trust a single cent with them. In fact, any escrows that are outside of the forum should be used with caution, because the reason they have to own a site is to have a gateway to scam.

If you took notice, their multisig escrow page is also down conveniently. I don't think it's a coincidence, since they would not be able to scam money easily with multisig escrow.

0.05% fee for escrow would be unsustainable for them in the long run as well. The only way for them to make money, is to scam you. Ninjaboon has specifically said do not use the site since 2015, and has not actively maintained it since then.

Your analysis could not have been better for anyone who need to make a decision. For the mere fact that they could misrepresent their existence is enough red flag. If a service has been in place since 2013 in the crypto space there is enough time for them to have a presence on the largest bitcoin forum but unfortunately I am yet to see then having such presence till this time. @op and anyone who wants to use an escrow there are enough people who offer such services and you get it done.
280  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex continues to fucking suck, despite Circle buying them (14 day withdraw) on: April 13, 2018, 10:15:32 AM
I've been waiting on a "Pending Approval" withdraw for 13 days now.

I've had a support ticket open for 13 days without a single reply.

Super frustrating.  You would think with Circle buying Poloniex out, that Poloniex would start to suck a little less.

Fucking trash.  Canceling my whole account once I receive my coins.

And the bold part is the best decision to take. I cannot imagine my funds hanged somewhere for a whole 13 days and there is no hope in sight whether there is fault somewhere causing the delay or there is need for any form of verification or confirmation just a total silence. The excesses of Poloniex is one too many that didn't even abate with the new management team coming on board by way of acquisition. It's time yo ditch and wait for them to sort themselves out.
