1  Economy / Trading Discussion / [HELP] Paypal on: June 05, 2017, 07:14:46 AM
Hey there..

I was wondering to sell my bitcoins and i saw very good rate for paypal. Like some offers $4000-$5000, if i sell BTC for paypal.

I don't know whats the paypal scam and how it works. I would like to know how it works and how can i safeguard myself.

Also in this case, how am i be scammed? I'll only be releasing my BTC when i received money in paypal.

Should i sell my btc for paypal to that guy?

Confused  Huh

3  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Amazon.com & Amazon.co.uk GIFT CODES @ 50% on: May 21, 2017, 02:17:50 AM
What amazon.co.uk GCs do you have in stock?
I'll take a vouch for it if you're offering. If all goes well then I'd be interested in buying a few.

I don't have any small balance cards for .co.uk  to give for a voucher but  I do for amazon.com . Is that ok?
Smallest amount I have for amazon.co.uk is $100.
i need a vouch copy for sure for amazon.com and interested in buying more if that goes well
4  Economy / Digital goods / [HELP] Raise.com Walmart gift card with 8 digit pin on: May 21, 2017, 01:47:57 AM
Hey there ..

Few days ago i've bought some walmart gift cards from a friend of mine who live in USA. I've bought them for resale purpose. It was my first purchase of gift card from him though we have traded bitcoin and altcoin, nevertheless he is a trustworthy guy.

Now back to the topic, he sold me $1000 walmart card, i visited walmart.com to check if the card has balance or not, but walmart.com requires 4 digit pin but he sended me 8 digit pin and told he had bought from raise.com, he sended me only cards serial number and pin. And its 2-3 days gone, he's offline, and i'm not able to ask on how to redeem it?

The guy to whom i'm supposed to sell need walmart card with 4 digit pin so he can redeem from walmart.com.

Well how can redeem or sell the card from raise.com?

Or i'm scamed? Or there's some mistake on my part on accessing raise.com?

Please help me in this regard

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Very low tx fee didn't received money on: May 20, 2017, 05:35:36 PM
After a few days, the coins will be transferred back to the sender. You need to ask him to resend the coins, perhaps with a higher transaction fees next time. You need to pay a minimum of around BTC0.001 to get this confirmed.
You are correct, for future reference, here is the complete calculation on how this 0.001BTC fee is calculated

the transaction size is 339 bytes, the current optimal fee for a 95% chance of getting into the next 3 blocks is 353 sat/byte (according to my node)
339 bytes x 353 sat/byte = 119667 satoshi's = 0.00119667 BTC
So, a 0.001BTC fee would be a tid bit lower than the optimal fee, but it would still be sufficient to get into a block in less than an hour (with odds of 95%).

This is about the fee my fee estimator estimates at the time of writing when using option 2 with 2 inputs and 1 output:
http://www.mocacinno.com/page/feeestimate
So if you want, you can use this tool next time you need to estimate an appropriate fee Wink
thanks for this bro .. Smiley very helpful
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Very low tx fee didn't received money on: May 18, 2017, 09:01:24 AM
Yup, i asked him to send back btc but he says to wait for tx to get confirmed
It may take up to ~14 days before the network "drops" this transaction. In that case, the money will be returned to the sender.

This is really irresponsible use of Bitcoin, i.e. setting such an absurd fee-rate.
very true.. Thats only 5$, so i'm just not paying any heed to it. But such tx fee .. I mean who set so low tx fee.. Lol
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Very low tx fee didn't received money on: May 18, 2017, 08:55:51 AM
If you consider this: Fee per byte   3.888 sat/B, it is likely that this transaction will never confirm.

We had a deal, i asked him to pay first, but i've not received it, so how can i send him the goods for that?
Don't.
Yup, i asked him to send back btc but he says to wait for tx to get confirmed

Hey guyz..

I've to receive payment from a guy. .he sent me 0.1BTC but he used a very low tx fee (0.000013BTC instead of 0.0006BTC) and i opened my wallet, i can't even see that i've received btc. But he is saying that he had already sent but used low tx fee. And sent me a screenshot .

What will happen now? I mean will i receive my payment or it will back to him?

I'm sure he won't pay me again. Lol

Regards

could you post the tx id?
Unless there is something wrong with the transaction, i guess allmost all wallets will show an unconfirmed transaction, the fact that you don't see this indicates there could be something wrong.
If the transaction doesn't get confirmed in a couple of days, nodes will start dropping it from their mempool, and the sender is free to re-use the inputs, creating a double spend, and possibly voiding your unconfirmed transaction.

I hope you didn't already send the goods or services this guy payed you for?
Here's the tx id,

https://blockchain.info/tx/6087f40a5d456a7c893508cd23e3c6fc12a39213d642b3337abd1769cdb5a9c7

We had a deal, i asked him to pay first, but i've not received it, so how can i send him the goods for that? I'm waiting for tx to confirm so i can send him goods.

15  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: 50,000rs (500rs of old currency) for bitcoins on: March 02, 2017, 11:53:26 AM
I believe you can exchange it at RBI
Go to them with proper proof of withdrawl of your 50k. It's your money in the end and 50k is a good amount- hell any amount needs to be changed.
Many people have forgot their money or found it stashed away.
give it a try
I think it is black money that is the only reason I could think up for him afraid to go to bank and get it changed to new notes.
Op you are not required to disclose anything because 50k is well within limit.
i already said, i kept it somewhere and forgot. If it would be a black money, i won't have visited bank.

If you think you can, i can give you bank statement and notes, just make exchange and take whatever commission you want.

bro .. I made a contact with them, even told them that i've a proper proof of withdrawl of money but they still refused. I also contacted a bank manager, he too told that no one other than NRI could help. Now, only an NRI could help me or any indian who was in foreign at the time of demonetization. Sad
I even tried with a foreigner, but why he be messing himself for a low amount of 50,000rs.
Yes, i know 50,000 inr is a damm good amount for any indian, let's see what will happen to them.

Hello friends.. sadly i found my bunch of 500rs of old currency worth 50,000rs. But i know its too late, 31st december is over. I want to exchange it for new one. I am also ready to give some part of my money to the exchanger. I think our respectable prime minister has also given a date for 31st march 2017.

I am also ready to exchange it for bitcoins.

Please someone help me in this regards

Actually here are only two option of exchange your old currency with new note .
First option is to hire a person who remain in the foreign country and then exchange your currency with the name of that people if he is agree .
Second option is to contact RBI directly and give the proof that how does you got this 50k INR , If you will get success to do the best honestly  then you will be able to exchange your old currency legally .
i contacted them. They strictly told that its only for RBI.

The first option is good, but unfortunately, i don't know any NRI. Sad

20  Other / Off-topic / [Help] Information regarding software used by Dominos on: February 26, 2017, 01:42:40 PM
You all must have heard about Dominos pizza.

Well i've recently started a business which requires willing consumers to order a product on a daily basis and our company will deliver the product at their home. There are many consumers who will need the product and it is mandatory to store the information of the consumers (their name, home address etc.) And it is type of awkward to ask them everytime their address and all.

I've seen, when i order at dominos by calling them, i simply tell them my phone number and they quickly get to know my name, my previous orders, my home address etc.

It is mandatory for me to use this type of software for my bussiness. Please tell me whether its a software or some kind of inbuilt application on computer which assist this. If its a software, what is it? How much it cost?

Well that's very important for me as well as for my business to know this kind of stuff.

Any suggestions or help will be very grateful.

Regards,
DigiSoul.
