41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred/Siacoin GPU Miner v5.2 (Windows/Linux) on: July 28, 2016, 05:07:59 PM
@Claymore
Why does 5.2 say that it cant use nanopool, "cant use ethereum adresses as login"
Is this a bug? Since i cant find any information on nanopool page which would instruct me to write receiving aadress otherwise.

doesnt open  after checking the browzer (chrome/mozila)

One of my cards from time to time get as hot as 80C
As i want to keep all cards under 80, i use -tstop 80
But ones the card reaches 80, its stopped from miner and never returned to mining.
is there a way to auto-restart it? or I should just use higher value for tstop?
Or simply restart the miner from time to time (say -r 60 )
i have 4 gpu 280x and the 2 of them goes to 80 as well with dual mining eth/sc (sometimes more) with fans 100 % ofc (-tt -100).i solve the prob with extra fan hit directy on cooler (3 to 6 degree less temp). imo the r -? will not help

Miner stopped suddenly (4gpu ubuntu 14.04) . My last lines on log file :

1) What is the issue here ? How can i fix it ?

2) How can i restart automatically miner after a failure ? Because the default -r 0 doesn't seem to work.

Help anyone ? Thanks in advance !

no1 else has that prob??  im using 5.1
ps: miner do that error after 12 to 24 hours of mining random  if that helps. does any1 has a script to autostart miner after restart pc? i might try to  rr pc every 10 hours.....

Try to put your GPU clocks a bit lower, maybe that helps from haning.
Google how to add program to startup and put your batch file to startup.
Somehow the -r 0 (which is default) also didnt help, miner was idle for 1 hour before it restarted itself.
You can put -r 1440 for miner to restart itself every 24h.(or another value)

anyone can tell me if siacoin is more profitble than decred in dual mining mode? thanks

but the answer is yes.

Can you check why hashrate is not reported to etc nanopool?

I have same problem, even after 15 minutes it doesnt show me stats

@Claymore
When a gpu thread hangs and miner restarts, does the log state the reason or smth?
Probably bad clocks i presume?
And why does it take so long for the miner to restart itself in this case?
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ASIC Legit? on: July 25, 2016, 07:57:36 AM
ETH is GPU mining only, so no ASICs!
Don't forget that Smiley

Guys, you should probably forget ETC mining Smiley

What about when miner thread hangs? My miner was idle 45 minutes until it restarted itself. What could be a cure to avoid it next time or get the restart faster? I believe the -r option would systematically restart miner after specified time period?
And on dwarfpool i get quite unstable shares, gonna try ethpool next imo this isnt problem of miner but pool?

Guys... did Claymore support 5-6 GPU on 1 rig?
Because my friend run claymore only 4 GPU is contributing hashrate... while the other 2 GPU don't.

Any Command line to activated all?

Yeah, uninstall windows 7 and install windows 10.
7 supports 4
8.1 supports 5
and 10 supports up to 7 cards per rig.

How do you use remote management? I have remote management enabled, I've installed Claymore's Dual Miner Monitor on my phone and I can see hashrates and temperatures. However, if I type the rig's ip and port in a browser, I don't get anything. How can I manage my rig remotely?
Also can this mobile app notify you if the rig has stopped mining for some reason?

The remote management is a raw socket server, not web server. there is no web gui so you cannot access it from browser.
In Windows you need to use EthMon.exe provided in the folder inside claymore
In Linux you can run it also under wine it works ok.
You can also write your own client  Cheesy it use json format

As I understand it's not possible to access miners from external networks? i.e I have to be connected to local network, right? I just can't fill the boxes with my ipv6 address and watch miners?

with remote manager, the applied settings from config.txt should apply automatically? no miner restart or anything needed?
Somehow this function doesnt work for me, just says in miner window that config.txt has been applied but nothing changes.

I have problem with mining speed somehow. Getting 12mh per card but it should be close to 14mh I'm not sure if i put the enviromental variables correctly, can anyone confirm how this is done exaclty?
I have 6x 370 rig
- intel g3220
-h81 pro-g
-4gb ram
- windows 10 home single language
- catalyst 15.12
claymore v5.1
set virtual memory inital size to 16384 and maximum 16384

Anyone? Smiley

I assume you added the following in the beginning of batch file?

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

but I have 7 x 370 (using 3to1-PCI riser to get 6+1=7 x GPUs), H81-Pro-BTC, Celeron1840, 8GB RAM and SSD using latest Crimson 16.3.2, Windows 8.1, Virtual memory set MIN=16,000 and MAX 20,000

CDM v5.1 mining ETH and DCR

Total hashrate dual mining: 102.6MHs
Yes everything should be there. I previously had a regular pc with 280x mining at optimal speed with these settings. Gonna try new version of drivers later and if that not works gonna install Windows again. I assume any other drivers shouldn't interfere with mining speed e.g outdated chipset drivers or whatnot?
E: when I set dcri to 1 or single only I get a bit more speed 3-5mh for total speed. With 280x it was vice versa, with single I had bad hashrate and in dual optimal hash.
