1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptocities.net - your opinion? on: February 14, 2018, 03:53:39 PM
Hi,
today I randomly found new "game" built on top of ETH. It's similar to Cryptokitties but it should have fixed supply(I can't verify that yet, but I have written question to one of devs on discord).

https://cryptocities.net/

What are your thoughts about this project? Do you think it can live for a while?
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: *Free Bitcoin Miner Game* - Earn Free Bitcoin Playing on: November 16, 2014, 11:43:23 AM
The way the withdrawal system is, can we only claim each withdrawal on the list once?

Obviously Wink
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Free Bitcoin Miner Game - Earn Free Bitcoin Playing on: November 15, 2014, 05:36:50 PM
I have tried it - it's fun!

One suggestion: there should be always random map generated after page refresh - otherwise it can be easily automatized by js bot(simple plugin for web browser, that mines few blocks on map and then refresh page and do it all again)
4  Economy / Services / Re: first time on CEX.io , need some help plz on: November 02, 2014, 06:52:25 PM

6  Economy / Securities / Stock gonna crash? on: October 24, 2014, 07:15:25 PM
Hi,
I just found this article. http://www.moneynews.com/MKTNewsIntl/stock-market-crash-warren-buffett-indicator/2014/10/03/id/598461/?dkt_nbr=ufos34vz&utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=referral

I have no idea if it will happen, but if you have some stocks think it through Smiley
7  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Introducing Coingi – one of the world´s most sophisticated exchange on: October 23, 2014, 08:00:20 PM
AMT_Miners, are you ever going to address my situation? I was sent a miner, but the wrong kind of fans were used and do not work properly. The cards run extremely hot up to 67 degrees, so basically too hot to run the miner and not safe to use. You tell me us to email sales@amtminers.com but no one replies. Can you please send me 3 new fans? This is the least you can do to get started on the right track. Ignoring your current customers is probably why you are not selling many miners.

Again, here is the photo of the mis-matched used fans (also have wires cut) "they" sent me.  It seems there was no one checking the factory in China these were made in. Very poor service, please make a step in the right direction. It is not worth it for me to spend more money on all new fans, I already lost so much with AMT_Miners.

Take a good look at this photo, and ask yourself why your customers are upset, and why you are not selling many miners?

And why you are writing it here in this very topic?
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why I do not like Linux OS - probably the worst soft in the world on: October 23, 2014, 07:53:17 PM
Because you can not download software, which you want. You must search in depositaries - where you can not find what you want or choose outdated software in bundle download. Even good antivirus soft is not so easy to find - mainly outdated. Linux is probably the worst OS software in the world !!!

Why such hate? Stupidity or just trolling? All of your pseudo arguments are completely false of course.

a) "you must search in depositories" - there is no such thing - it's called repository, and you don't have to search here - you can download and 'install' whatever you want
b) "choose outdated software" - well what could I say Cheesy completely false - in fact you can get always get the newest soft available(made so far)
c) "good antivirus soft is not easy to find" - false again... is as easy as looking into repository Smiley (or searching on internet see a) ) newest version always available(see b) ); And it's good to say that estimately about 90% of viruses targets Windows/Mac OS/Android(this is based on Linux kernel, but security is poorly made there) so just by installing Linux distribution you got the very efficient antivirus Cheesy
d) "worst OS in the world" - it's like on of the most important software in the world Smiley most of the web you visit is running on Linux based servers (not even mentioning non-pc devices, etc.)

In the next few years gaming will turn into Linux distribution(see Steam and it's intentions) and Windows will have a hard time to survive(unless they will justify they infinetly higher price than Linux distributions for personal usage).

So just plz kill educate yourself and don't spit hate on things you have no idea about. Smiley

P.S.: no offense meant in this post Smiley
9  Economy / Services / Re: BiPolarVPS - Free Linux VPS service! on: October 23, 2014, 06:06:09 PM
Hi!
BiPolarBob this is very noble offer of yours. Even I got my own VPS for webhosting, etc. (just for my humble business) I got an idea that I could setup Mumble(Open source VOIP solution) and some other services like XMPP server, etc. on your free VPS - and "Pay it forward"(great movie btw) to other bitcointalk users as free VOIP/chatting server.

I don't have time until next week for that anyway, so I would like your response on this and anyone's ideas and any suggestions on the topic.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: free vps ?? on: October 23, 2014, 05:59:52 PM
There's no such thing as a free lunch.

In fact there is Wink Like free lunch for homeless, etc. Cheesy

And as there is a free lunch, there is also a free VPS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829770.0 Smiley
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: TeamSpeak or Skype ? on: October 23, 2014, 05:58:20 PM
Imho for gameplay it's TS better for easy room management, etc. Skype is ok for everything(even it doesn't excel in anything specific).

But what is imho great project that you can use as you like is Mumble http://wiki.mumble.info/wiki/Main_Page . It enables the both Skype and TS(from what I know) and as a great addition is encryption while it's ----- wait for it ----- Open source. Smiley
12  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking translators for Hive Web and Hive iOS on: October 23, 2014, 05:52:02 PM
Are people seriously doing this for free?  Huh
Yes and I don't see why I shouldn't. I mean, I like helping out a good project, Hive is a good project, so I'm happy that I could help them. Makes sense right?

Cheesy this sounds funny, becuase you can twist this question into "Are these people really offering their service for free?" Cheesy
(good people didn't die - at least not yet Cheesy)
13  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking translators for Hive Web and Hive iOS on: October 23, 2014, 05:49:24 PM
Czech translation for hive-js completed.
Also I want to point on some things:
a) it would be great to add suggestion to all translations - that helps translators to understand the meaning of word/sentense in context thus making better translation.
b) in project there is CZECH and CZECH (CZECH REPUBLIC) sections - there is no need for two of these as there is no other country in world speaking czech
c) review(plus possible improvement) from another czech person would be great Smiley

I wish a good luck for the project future.

P.S.: If you like my translation you can "tip" me for my effort, by adding positive review to my trust here on bitcointalk (but this is not needed ofc)
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU | NoPremine | Rare | Fast Transactions | Update Now!!! on: October 23, 2014, 02:00:23 PM
So Fz is dead already? Sad no mining pool, no exchange, no dev - or am I mistaken?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=411291.440
this is the newer thread but not much going on 4 posts since June...
If you wanted to be in Frozen you'd want to time travel back to December or January when Quark clones were coming out...

I was there! Even without time machine Cheesy But unfortunately Fz haven't succeed
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't you wish you never had any alcohol? on: October 23, 2014, 01:52:34 PM
Wouldn't your life be better? How much did you spend on alcohol? Imagine you invested this money or started a business with it?

If you never had any alcohol you would have avoided many mistakes, work harder and more easily, you would be smarter, richer, more healthy and with better friends Wink
I just read the question again and realized that you made some stupid arguments; Why would non-drinkers be smarter than drinkers?
And why would non-drinking friends be better friends than the drinking ones?

Because it seems he uses similiar assumption to "religion is good, drugs are bad" - and as B. Maher said "... and I just couldn't disagree more" Cheesy
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is dying...permanently on: October 22, 2014, 09:24:51 PM
I met with my other oracle today, Lady Shazam, and she told me as soon as I stepped into her hut, that bitcoin is dying.

I was stunned, but realized she is right. Bitcoin is dying.

*If anyone here is named Bitcoin, I apologize for the confusion, I'm talking about the bitcoin cryptocurrency/protocol, not any person* Thanks

Sure! You must have noticed a lot of blood on the ground Cheesy
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Darkwallet Team lists "Herbs" as an expense on: October 22, 2014, 09:22:34 PM
Thats a lot of rosemary and thyme......were the Darkwallet lads keen cooks?

It could be also tea Wink Lot of tea a month Cheesy Cheesy

This is just very naive Cheesy You could work for some anti-alcohol agency Cheesy life is just more complicated than that

20  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you use - Windows, Linux or Mac? [POLL] on: October 22, 2014, 09:12:46 PM
Used Windows then 'evolved' into using free software so I switched to Linux - tryed many of mainstream distribution as OpenSuse, Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, but ended with great Linux mint - mainly because Gnome 3 sucks for desktops and they were first to develop something similiar to Gnome 2 - called Mate. I recommend this distribution to everyone.
