1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBTC]Super Bitcoin:Bitcoin Fork|Smart Contracts|8MB Blocks|Privacy|Scalabi on: December 27, 2017, 04:31:23 PM
Any idea how I can split my SBTC coins and dump them for BTC? I'm tired of waiting to dump this shit.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: monero exploit reveal ip of nodes on: October 22, 2017, 03:04:31 PM
Yeah, because tax evaders and money launderers are all fucking retarded.

So, so dumb that they broadcast their illegal activities on their clear without recourse to Tor or I2P.

I hear that's how Alexandre Cazes of Alphabay bought his Lambo Aventador.
Moved his XMR straight from Alphabay and into a Poloniex account registered under his real name! $900k. Just like that! Easy peasy.</s>
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Alt ? on: October 16, 2017, 09:48:21 AM
Alt is hard dumping now because the fork I think .

Do you think when is best time to buy Alt ?

- Now

- Before 24 Oct

- After 25 Oct .

  Thank you !
I've been dollar cost averaging BTC and BTC only for the past two months.
You'll still make money with alts in dollar terms, but I feel BTC is the superior choice in term of ROI.

Maybe try splitting it 75% BTC / 25% altcoins?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Primalbase - The next THE BILLION COIN on: June 28, 2017, 02:23:47 AM
Some say it's overpriced?

Share your thoughts.
They were caught lying about having Vitalik as a project advisor. Plus the premise itself is rather goofy. Shared office space? You don't need a blockchain to setup a service like that.

Seems like a quick money grab to me.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZCash added on AlphaBay on July 1st on: June 27, 2017, 04:37:08 PM
Good. Real world use is always good. XMR is probably the better choice, but at least you have people buying and selling.

Drugs, counterfeit bills, fake IDs...so long as it's not kiddie porn, I'm cool w/ it. Anything but child porn. That stuff makes my stomach churn.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stop talking about the price on: June 27, 2017, 04:17:48 PM
When will you guys realize that all this doom and gloom speculative bullshit serves only to create downward pressure on the price? It's a self-fulfilling prophecy: you've got some douche w/ a YouTube channel making predictions based on technical analysis and saying the market will correct by however many percentage points and the saddest thing is that people take their speculative bullshit seriously.

Technical analysis doesn't work. Nobody has any fucking clue where the market is headed. No one! Even back in 2013, the BTC market was pretty darn efficient already. Moves on a 24 hour time scale were for all intents and purposes impossible to predict. You can't time the market unless you have enough money to play the pump and dump game.

So unless you have a shitload of BTC and are willing to break the law, you have no way of predicting the price of BTC and alts. Nobody has a clue, so stop whining about the price and start buying. If you believe in the long term potential of crypto just keep buying on a regular basis. The lower it drops the better, because you'll be able to accumulate more.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 20, 2017, 11:54:20 PM
I see that 10,000 SNT have been credited to my wallet, but I can't get the balance to show up on MEW.
I go to 'add custom token' I enter the crowdsale address, i.e., the hex ending in 230da05492, choose the token name (SNT) with 18 decimals and still nothing shows up.

Am im doing something wrong?

use the contract address: 0x744d70fdbe2ba4cf95131626614a1763df805b9e
Thanks. Showing up nicely.

Now my tx just vanished! lol
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 20, 2017, 05:16:06 PM
Fuck this ICO. walking away for 10 hours. by then i expect ANSWERS.
Isn't every ICO like this? At least MEW didn't crash during this one.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 20, 2017, 05:12:21 PM
anyone know when its finished ? i tried to click now around 1000 times on generate new trasaction and send transaction it says Your TX was broadcast to the network. It still needs to be mined & confirmed. (1) Click the link. (2) Refresh until you can see your TX details. (3) Check that there are no red ( ! ) errors. (4) If no transaction details show after 3 HOURS & please try sending again
then i cant see the transaction why ?
Just chill, dude! There's no point in trying to send the same transaction multiple times. I got the exact same message you did and my transaction has been pending for 15 minutes and yet you don't see me going around posting and reposting the same semi-incomprehensible, English creole babble and demanding to be given an explanation for what's going on.

The answer is, no one really fucking knows.

I liked how you insult my english, thought I just wanted to know how I participate to that, my transaction doesnt appear on etherscan, and my balance doesnt move, despite of thousands of attempts
Look, sorry for coming across as a dick, but the truth is no one has a clue what's going on. We probably sent our ETH at arouo the same time, so we should be fine. Then again, I don't know. Let's just wait and see.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 20, 2017, 05:07:28 PM
LOL to think this is the tech we are investing in...

Exactly.
I guess we can't say we weren't warned.
Total junk.
It's embarrassing really.

Makes me really appreciate my BTC.

My thoughts exactly. A $30B+ network that can't handle a few thousand wankers punting on some useless newfangled decentralized SNS that's supposingly going to be competing w/ WeChat, LINE and Facebook.

They should do these in XEM, which actually supports thousands of tx/s. Even BTS, for fuck's sake, would be able to handle this better than the ETH network. What a shit show this is, is all I can say.

Took a good 40 mins. for it to show up on etherscan.io, but it seems I've got one transaction pending. Highly doubt it'll get through, though.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: business structure of the new ICOs is bad ? on: June 19, 2017, 01:55:12 PM
Excellent point!

Not just that, but also the structure of these ICOs is bad because the bulk of the money goes to 'development' as opposed to marketing and customer acquisition. These projects need users. Without real world adoption these companies ultimately fail.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2x bitcoins in 2 weeks - good investment idea on: June 19, 2017, 01:48:20 PM
If ETH doesn't correct, you'll get eaten alive. There's a bunch of high profile ICOs culminating in the Tezos crowdfunding on July 1, and people need ETH to gamble invest in these projects. If you short it now and Status.im, TenX and Tezos turn out to be nearly as popular as expected, you're dead. Don't fight the trend.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about TenX ICO ? on: June 19, 2017, 01:33:23 PM
Damn, is it confirmed that Vitalik is backing it up?
He's an advisor to Omise Go and some other weirdly named ICO (Kyber?), but that's it. People have just been using his name without permission.

At least that's what Vitalik said on Twitter. With this, I don't mean to imply that TenX is a scam, I'm simply stating the facts, namely that Vitalik has not officially endorsed the project, something he has done with Omise Go.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about TenX ICO ? on: June 19, 2017, 12:10:31 PM
It looks an awful lot like Tokencard and Monaco, but who cares? What I worry about
is not being able to get into the ICO. I just want to get my hands on some tokens and flip it for a quick profit.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Investment Ideas on: June 18, 2017, 03:14:00 PM
Pascal if markets behaved rationally. Why? They have the first ever implementation of a deletable blockchain. This translates into reduced blockchain bloat and infinite scalability.

NEM is also a good candidate because it has a fixed supply and can scale to thousands of transactions per second.

If the market crashes (which at some point it will) these are the ones I'll be buying.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It isn't a bubble on: June 18, 2017, 01:55:56 PM
Oh, it's a bubble.
Look at BAT or Status. Who's going to use the brave browser? I don't see it gaining any traction. People will continue to use Chrome because it's a google product. They don't care enough to switch.

Status is even more preposterous. They want to compete with We Chat or LINE. Not gonna happen.

At the end of the day very few coins are worth anything. I grow more concerned w/ each passing day.
