If ever bitcoin became a currency of certain country, tax will be applied to it. Though bitcoin has a character of anonymousity but still the government wont allow such currency not to have tax from people. if you mean bitcoin is powerful among other cryptocurrencies like the ones that you have named in you comment then i agree because none of the other cryptos (altcoin) are even close to bitcoin in usability.

but if you are comparing bitcoin as a currency with other currencies in general like USD, EUR,... then bitcoin has very little power since the percentage of usage of bitcoin is very small comparing to others.


I agree with you, we must consider other currencies when it comes to power. If we are going to talk about cryptocurrencies, bitcoin has really big lead among those. It's because, bitcoin was the very first crypto and when when you compare its usability we will all agree that bitcoin can be soon used in out everyday transactions.

Still, USD and EUR have great power when it comes to world economy.

What's good about bitcoin is that even if you don't do anything, you will have profit in return of your savings or investments. Saving it will not just hold your money but rather it will give you earnings. As the price of bitcoin inflate same goes with your savings.
