1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Signature Campaign] The Standard 🚀 Most Awaiting Campaign - Lucrative Rewards on: Today at 06:48:42 PM
It's great to see all the excitement around our project. We are putting a lot of resources into making this The Standard absolutely massive. There is a heap of great news that will be released over the next few months that I know everyone will love.

I'm super honoured to be part of creating the next generation of algorithmic stablecoins.

Thanks for helping the project to become a success.

Joshua Scigala

Thank you!

If you stay true to your project and keep your words and do what you promised then it will be a great success and those who are gonna work for you and you pay them right on time they will be happy and they will you know give good word about you that will help a lot.

Good luck.

Between your personal message still reads that of BabelFish, you should update it to current campaign.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is ETH and BNB Prediction on: Today at 03:24:05 AM
I am very bullish now. after the B event. as per my experience and knowledge

ETH will be 10000$ and BNB 1500$

what is your justice

Bnb definitely can go as high as $1,500 but $10,000 for eth seem too speculative, I would say $5,000 to $6,000 depending on the nature of the market, what will drive the market to get to that peak price, although the market is always full of surprises, it is possible eth, bnb and some major coins can perform even better than what we are speculating right now, but one which is certain is, you can't go wrong to hold btc, eth, bnb for the nest bull market if that happens this year.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: Today at 03:02:58 AM
Buffett said, never depend on single income, make investment to create a second source.
Investment is very important, and now more and more young people like to invest in cryptocurrency. Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?

Can you compare 5 years back to this present time! No because of the huge difference between crypto back in 5 years and crypto in this present time, there are more acceptance, inclusion and improvement in the way crypto is viewed now than before, likewise in the future there will be even more bigger and wider acceptance, improvement than what we are seeing now, the more people discover and join crypto the more the value will increase, some of this recent projects utility can fully be accessed in future because by then they have been fully developed, so investing now for the future is important because by then development has increased and so are the price because of demand.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon's future plans on: Today at 02:48:29 AM
Too embarrassing and shocking, this news was reported and disputed by various industry media as soon as it came out. Some websites publish such big news, quoting "Amazon insiders"...too credible. Everyone believes this! !
It is indeed a rumor.

https://cryptobriefing.com/amazon-denies-rumours-of-cryptocurrency-support/?utm_source=cryptorank&utm_medium=rss

I hope the market will improve, but it seems to have risen completely and is beginning to be affected by changes in Amazon news.

That's the big disadvantage in crypto everything is base in news, speculation and not actual interest for now, maybe in the future things may change,  any time such big news becomes a rumour with lack of clarity it is the market who suffers, many people rely heavily on news to base their investment decision in crypto, it won't be surprising when the dump will begin again if there is no atom of truth with this news.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the weirdest thing about crypto? on: July 26, 2021, 08:46:42 PM
That there is still no crypto that we could imagine to become the world currency we all pay with. Bitcoin is like gold...not the kind of money you want buy apples on the market.

Yes btc is now viewed more like an asset than a currency that was supposed to be flexible and easily accessible by all, so far there is no such currency that is generally acceptable for transaction purpose, btc is more too pricy for it to serve as universally accepted, despite there are thousands of alternatives coins out there, yet none can be regarded as the ONE cryptocurrency of the world,  perhaps such coin has not been developed yet or probably never will.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do you keep allcoins? on: July 26, 2021, 08:36:56 PM
I keep some alts that appear to be good ones or reasonable ones for the possibility of earning good profit when there is a bull season, although not all alts can give good profit because most of them usually die off earlier than expected, more reason why holding alts is not very advisable, most of my alts o get as reward from bounty,  few of them I hold because of the project, majority I sell because they don't appear to be good for long-term.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: July 25, 2021, 08:47:18 PM
Wow! This is most certainly a big news indeed, Amazon is a giant online store with millions of subscribers all over the world, btc lovers will be thrilled with this very important piece of information, the ability to be able to use btc to shop in one of the biggest online store in the world would be a great advancement,  am also happy to hear this because I know directly or indirectly this will affect the price of btc in the long run, let the good news keeps rolling in.  Smiley
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Is Litecoin an Attractive Investment Asset? on: July 25, 2021, 08:38:22 PM
I think @op has a special likeness to ltc, I agree that compare to btc, ltc has cheap transaction fee but aside that what other special qualities ltc has aside from being cheap that will attract investors, there are other project with similar or better qualities that are cheap in price as well with fast transaction, although the price of ltc grow so much this recently ended bull which was very impressive, right now ltc price is $125 which still a high price to many low income investors.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Not just money but oil is most important in the World on: July 25, 2021, 06:45:56 AM
Most countries who happens to have this natural resources feels powerful because yes oil is very important to any countries economic growth reason why countries with oil are doing everything possible to safeguard it, those with great foresight are utilising the opportunity to develop and increase their position in the world, reason why some powerful countries are oppressing small and less powerful countries to take over their crude oil, although slowly alternatives with the production of electric vehicles and such devices that need the use of oil are comingup, perhaps in the future when this electric vehicles are more common oil will not be so important as it use to be and only countries with such ability will have the upper hand.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternatives to centralized currencies, alternatives to decentralized currencies on: July 25, 2021, 06:28:42 AM
I totally agree with the point that both centralized and decentralized currency are needed for economic growth, they both play important role separately even though it seems like centralized currency are not giving much freedom to the people, but am sure in a way there are other benefits alongside, btc gives financial freedom as decentralized currency but also have some shortcomings as well, to me I feel the best approach is to have both available and generally acceptable for people to make their choices which to transact with at a given situation.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: July 24, 2021, 06:14:55 PM
It is a mind set that is common among the different class,  the poor sees themselves as poor and don't believe they can be better than their poor status in life, the rich on the other hand sees it as their birth right and deserve it,  but being poor does not limit your dreams, goals and aspirations, it is about being self confidence and determined,  but you don't usually get such encouragement from school, families and society because as a poor kid it will be had to be able to achieve such dreams, and then it will only end up as dreams.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: July 24, 2021, 05:41:07 PM
90% investor and 10% occasional trader, since am terrible at doing day trading I only buy and sell at intervals and not on a daily basis, buying and holding for long term gives a piece of mind because you are not required to do anything else than just wait patiently at the right time to sell unlike day trading, and from the response of many members here, investors seem to be the top players.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: David Gokhshtein: Bitcoin Price Will Reach $80K on: July 23, 2021, 12:28:13 PM
Full of positive thoughts I've read lately, though it makes me feel great but that's in reverse to the real situation of market price right now. As of the moment, btc goes down at $31k yet the signal on blockfolio is red now and I don't know how to figure this out how that $80k speculation came to that certain point. Let's see what will exist soon, honestly stating a specific figures of value was really the hardest thing right now.

80K speculation won't happen immediately you open your blockfolio app, it is speculation so there is no specific time it will occur, the only thing to be noted is probably something that will happen before 2022, from now till year end you should expect to see the price reacting towards predicted amount or less.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: the next checkpoint $13,800 on: July 23, 2021, 12:13:40 PM
Never say neer, but to think btc will go as low as $13,500 this period is very hard to belive, since nothing is impossible in crypto space, i can only wait and watch where the price go next, i like to think from here on we will be going up, $13,500 will be too dip to recover quickly from, if this happens i jusy hope to be able to buy whatever i can squeeze out Smiley
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 23, 2021, 11:56:41 AM
You will be surprise the number of people who still strongly beleive in Elon Musk and his views, just because you are not in agreement with his way of doing things don't mean other's won't, the problem is not even elon but the people who will not do their own research, Elon is a business man and will always think of his own interest fisrt before anything else, People should be able to recognize this.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 21, 2021, 10:00:41 PM
People will always make different prediction about where they see the price going,  sometimes or most times market will go a different dimension from what many people expect to see, I like to be optimistic and believe btc won't go as low as many people believe, this is 2021 and not 2018, there have been tremendous changes in btc awareness and acceptance now than before which should be a point to consider, this is time to buy any of the cheap good coins out there before is too late.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch Live Here : Elon Musk Event 21/7/2021 on: July 21, 2021, 06:53:14 PM
Is this meeting have anything to do with the market reaction! Yesterday btc was below 30k but right now it looks like the price is slowly going back up, am really hoping btc will pull another surprise on us and do another run before the year ends, I can't to see more green candles again, there have been too many red, it is time to experience another price pump.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone Who Still into SOVRYN? on: July 19, 2021, 05:03:52 PM
Unfortunately sovryn  performance during this bear market was not impressive at all, unlike other solid project who were down by -40% -50% of there ath, sov is almost like -80% or more of it's ath which is not very impressive considering the calibre of project sovryn supposedly is, to tell you the truth I was really disappointed to see the huge dump, it is like most of the investors suddenly lose faith and dump their stash, from $80.78 to $8.19, it doesn't look good imo.

One of the things I find not not good is the staking reward, it is a big joke to say the list, no wonder they took their sweet time revealing the staking reward, Am sure many stakers unstake their coins immediately the staking reward was not what they hoped for,
Another was the issue of BabelFish sale, somehow they managed to make sov irrelevant to participate in the sale, tell me why anyone would want to hold such coin with very miserly staking reward? The team are clever am sure they know what to do to bring the attention back to sovryn although first impression matters alot.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 19, 2021, 04:49:04 PM
Don't compare online with offline work, signature takes few minutes while real work takes hours before you can earn, crypto space is unregulated so don't expect to get the same treatment as in regulated space,  everything in crypto is not 100% guarantee because anything can happen, so if you are participants in signature campaign especially in altcoins section just have it at the back of your mind that your reward could go either way, this is a jungle for survival of the fittest.  Grin
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot Price Down Time To Buy DOT? on: July 19, 2021, 03:55:52 PM
As far as I know dot is a good coin, Polkadot is a solid project with standard and high quality team behind it, great ecosystem as well, still has more room to grow, so to see the price of dot and several similar projects drop in price is an opportunity to buy them low, nobody can precisely predict where the market is going and what the price would be, but if you have a long term goal in mind, it will make sense more, Polkadot is a long term project.
