People are suggesting that this massive increase in value compared to fiat currencies is because it shows the real inflation of fiat money. Max Keiser has suggested this on his RT show the Keiser report.

Governments have been tweaking the inflation numbers for some time now (excluding food prices for example) so this may well be correct.

I have been using a pool and have been getting reasonable rewards in btc/nmc.

My question is, does it make sense to try and do solo mining?

I recently registered because I started mining.

I have 2 Radeon HD 7770 running at ~200mh each.
Both are overclocked to just under the safe limit. Any more seems to lock the gpu.
