1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: December 05, 2017, 03:32:24 AM
Two rigs work perfectly fine with any registry edit, however I have one rig, where any reg edit i TRY (no matter be it 0.95mV on core, 800MHz on mem or literally anything) will lead to one GPU ending up with Error 43 once disabled/enabled. Now, this could... mean the card is DOA. The problem is, the exact same card mines just fine with stock registry and no edits what so ever.

All the components are identical on every rig. Does anyone please have any idea?

How big is the Intel X-25M SSD nad whats the price?
What are the switches in question?

Any ideas on which fans they are? (both 120 and 140) and pricing?

I moved from dwarfpool to a different pool and I am getting about .2 eth more a day from 115hashes

Which pool?

One question about Watt per card an MHs

If I use the 380 or 390
I know there are 10mh between them. What are the power consumption?
380 get 20mhs
And 390 30mhs as I know...

the consuption is probably 50% more

Not quite. My 390 is using ~283, while my friends 380 is using ~240 (calculated by using a power meter while it was running on intergrated gpu and with the 390/380 100% usage). Thats not too much of a difference, for the hashrate bonus. Also I've noticed with some 380's its hard to get them to 20, 18-18.5 had no issues.

Etherum with R9 390 (31MH/s) and 7970 Lighting at 25MH/s, solid enough.

That is very fast for the 7970 at 25 MHz/s. Does it have modified BIOS to reduce the memory timing? Usually it is just 23-24MH/s.

No. Clocked to 1150/1600 (Lighting)

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -F http://192.168.1.15:8080/eth1 -G --cl-local-work 256 --cl-global-work 8192
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Rig Help. on: March 12, 2016, 12:16:28 PM
I have 6 x MSI R9 390 with PRO BTC H81 and Powered ribbon risers (unpowered)

from what i know you need 2 x1200w PSU and something like 600w PSU for the Mobo!

I wish you all the best with your set up and driver install etc.. its gonna be a nightmare.. take it from me

I have a total of 30 x MSI R9 390 cards and 5 PRO BTC H81 Mobos. i only managed to get one of the rigs running as it should.. and that is without any OC.. because afterburner is not allowing asrock motherboard or Intel shipset...I guess they prefer us to buy MSI Mobos... so its all crap :-/

Let me now if you have you managed to configure your set up.. looking forward to that :-)

Both my rigs are running AsRock mobos (however Z97 Extreme6 and Z77 Extreme4) and I OC'd fine. The MSI 390 were a bad choice though as their cooling is not as effective as say Sapphire's is. I mean they're not totally bad, its just I had a better experience with Sapphire.

Etherum with R9 390 (31GH/s) and 7970 Lighting at 25GH/s, solid enough.
How much does this get you in terms of dollars per hour?

I just did an estimate for my GPU: 0.20 dollar per year if I mine bitcoin.

I derped with the ghs. I get about $ 11-12 a day
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethOS - Ethereum Mining Platform on: March 11, 2016, 11:29:50 PM
I think this ethOS sounds like -the- solution for my new Ethereum mining project.

Just bought 4 new Radeon R9-390X2 and thought I would need at least 16GB+ ram
and a massive MB with i7 CPU for 2 cards. (x2)
Can ethOS do the job in this case? 2 cards on a older MB  (K9N 2core) with just 2GB ram and ethOS?
This would save a lot of money! And less frustration, took me a lot of time running first Rig and
it doesn't seem to be easier with my Devil 13's so far.

I would not do 2GB ram only because of the DAG file, takes much longer to make. Do 4. The R9 390's are a solid choice (they do 31MH/s once overclocked and proper settings in the miner are applied). Although depending on price the 270X is also not bad as it does 15MH/s and use much less power, then again depends on price per gpu.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Rig Help. on: March 11, 2016, 11:26:53 PM
Okay thanks. And what about  the GPU.

Should I use 390 or the 390x? Msi or Sapphire? Or any other brand?
Are two 1000w PSU enough or one 1600W LEAP?

390 Sapphire. I use that (Nitro backplate version) and do 31MH/s at 70c 70% fan (almost no noise). Very good fans/cooling. I'd take 2 1kw's

Guys, is there a higher hashrate in X11? I got 2.2MH/s on scrypt, how much would it be in X11? And is really 2 times less power consumption? Thinking of going X11.

More and more it looks like a scam. I really need my money back, I've had it of this.
15  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTO-TRADE] Crypto-trade.com IPO and official thread! on: February 23, 2014, 11:03:00 PM
Can you let them breath? Do you have experiences just with school projects, or did you tried to implement something real and "it just fucked up" so you had to work all night instead of "that two hours in the evening" you planned before? I think world will not end, if it will be down for some time. Better slowly and without bugs than quick fix, hack, tears and another gaychat here.

You don't get it do you. We're just scared they ran off with the coins.

Is getting me about 500Khs+ on my 280x and 7970.

Also again, some users are reporting issues connecting to our .COM stratum, IF you experience this, Just switch to .NET, and you wont have any problems.

Everything is running smoothly at leetpools.

Post questions about the config and Ill do what I can to work you guys through your issues.

Thanks.

What are your core and memory clocks? I can't get my 7970 past 475 no matter what I try. Does 720 on litecoin.

1020 Core 1500 Memory, Powertune 20%

No need to have powertune to 20%. 1080 core will get u to 580

Guys, my 7970 lightning getting massive amunts of hw errors. Running 14.1 drivers. Should i rollback to 13.12?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Questiong regarding 2 psu's/powered risers. on: February 02, 2014, 04:30:28 PM
How many? What kind of cards are you using?

Running 2 7970's atm. Going to add a 5870 so I can get back to mining.

So basically, just power all molex from main psu and start the secnd psu first?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Questiong regarding 2 psu's/powered risers. on: February 02, 2014, 02:28:18 AM
Well I am going to need to use a secnd psu. I was wondering if it was safe to only short the 2nd PSU, and not have to wait for an 24pin adapter that starts/stops both at the same time? Also, if its ok to short it, do I first start the shorted one and then my actual rig?

What about risers? I saw some people burned out their risers with 2 psus'. Im planning to mod my unpowered to powered, so should I always connect the molex to my main PSU, and then connect to PCI-E with my 2nd ?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question regarding psu/draw from wall/rating on: February 01, 2014, 02:04:14 PM
As Im in europe and I got 230v outlets, is anything different?
