Good day my fellow Heliumites,


The team is happy to announce that we have just been listed at CryptoBridge with a BTC / HLM trading pair. This gives us our first DEX listing (Decentralized Exchange) which is very useful to us to have a compliment to the current landscape of centralized exchanges. We will continue to both focus on getting trading volume to increase via awareness and utility of the coin while also looking at adding more quality exchanges. I have contacted CMC to update the listing there as well so we are now good to go. Lastly, a big thank you goes out to stonehedge for contributing to the cost of this listing - a gift to the Helium community. We have made a lot of traction lately due to many of the team and community members stepping up to help out in various ways regarding funding. Most chains simply do not have this level of togetherness and dedication.

It has just come to the core teams attention that Helium (HLM) has been listed on Crex24 and the market has just opened up for trading. We did have Crex24 as one of the exchanges engaged in with to open and were informed it would take another week to get listed . They apparently were able to build / test and integrate the latest client of 0.15.2 much quicker than that and went ahead and listed us. This listing was not paid for by the Treasury, so special thanks to @cryptoconsultant who graciously paid for this listing out of his own pocket.

We will continue to actively engage with our exchange partners and ensure to keep you all updated on matters. We will be spreading this news across all platforms so this is as fair an announcement as possible. Here is the trading pair at Crex24 for reference:

Regarding Cryptopia:

Cryptopia and another yet-to-be-revealed exchange are on target to open trading end of this week, however, as always they are the ultimate decider of their own pace. As many of the other team members have mentioned previously, one year ago many variables were fundamentally different than they are today. At the time the team was asked to provide two choices for redemption by the community and we worked to provide that.  Because we understood the redemption process with Crypotpia at the time and still had to code in a redemption method into the wallet, we asked each person to make a personal choice based upon their own preferences using the knowledge we all had available. Since then we were able to code in an import option for the wallet and Cryptopia ended up in the middle of a large relocation project with their physical headquarters once we launched. These are things that are regrettable but outside of the team's and communities control. We are also going to improve as a Team each day and our ability to forecast for future events like this will become easier as everyone learns to gel together for a united cause.

Your patience and maturity regarding this all is very much appreciated as it allows the Team to focus on other critical matters.  Our community is Helium's largest single asset by far and we will continue to benefit from the insight, support and energy you all bring here each day.

Thanks for the thoughts on the project. The rebranding was a change based more on simplifying things and removing any future legal issues than it is on our long term focus. I am the co-founder of a blockchain project called Helium and am looking for a part time / full time developer who can assist my current team in helping not only complete the launch of the blockchain but work with us afterwards to help maintain the chain itself. Helium is an economic fork of Spreadcoin and will be a technical fork of a codebase yet to be determined (Dash / PIVX / Crown). There is a blockchain snapshot taken of the Spreadcoin blockchain which you will be required to work with in lockstep with our other technical team members as well as handling various other duties like shoring up or creating Windows / MAC / Linux wallets among other work.

Payment will be in the coin itself and there is a potential for some Bitcoin depending on the nature of the work and skill level and portfolio you can bring to the table. Good day all,



I have been working daily to get the projects various pieces in order to complete the launch and am now moving closer to realizing that goal. There have been some delays which I will be able to speak to once a few more house keeping items are in order. For transparency, I have put up my consultancy at Crypto Consultant and my studio at Blockchain TV for sale last month and shut down their respective operations at the end of 2017. This was done to free up my time to focus solely on Helium and to ensure that the right people were brought into the project to get the launch completed properly without losing traction on the Enterprise front.

I will reiterate that the lion's share of activity on the project from a community perspective takes place in Slack so if you only look for updates here you may be left wanting at times. That being said there has purposely been a lull in active communication as I am opposed to providing content-less updates for the sake of saying something. My intention has always been to see this project through to launch and then flourish in the industry with measurable success. Once we are launched I will be in a better position to speak towards some of the complications that have arisen and why i decided to handle them the way I did given the information I had at the time and the stakes involved.


Rest assured, I am not going anywhere as this will be my final contribution to the industry. I started back in 2012 and now have only Helium as my commitment outside of family and personal life.
