Jawad was supposed to have his trial March 6 according to news articles but still haven't heard anything. Anybody know anything?

Do you know if they seized Bitcoin too or was it all cash? It seems to me he couldn't have had enough time to launder it all through Bitcoin ATMs.

So Jawad is all over the news now...

"Jawad Yaqub, 45, from Ben Vista Park in Holywood, pleaded not guilty to all 25 charges against him at Downpatrick Crown Court on Thursday."

"Not guilty". What a clown. Narcissism to the very end.

Oh look, his attorney Ellis McDermott is a dirty communist activist:

Nice, thanks for the links Plastick.

It'll be interesting to see what he gets at the end of all this and whether any of the illicit funds can be recovered.

Hilarious about the fake degrees though! What a fraud.

They confiscated his bank account and bitcoin ATMs a lonnnng time ago. They have had these assets this whole time.

News story about Jawad in his hometown.

https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/news/businessman-accused-over-crypto-scam-in-whats-believed-to-be-a-legal-first-in-ni-42175918.html

"He is also charged with fraudulently stating he had two university degrees from Queen’s University, Belfast."

I called this. His sister actually went there and he used her diploma.

So they are keeping the tokens I bought plus the vested tokens I bought in their original ICO. Not doing business with Russians ever again. Every Russian ICO I ever bought into ended up being a scam. Scummy people those Russians.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Emiswap holding my tokens hostage and trying to extort me on: March 01, 2022, 02:40:43 PM
Here is an update... So the remaining tokens unlocked in my emiswap account and they have since switched to polygon/matic. I withdrew my token and they did not show up on matic (probably because they locked my mainnet wallet). I contacted their support and they never even replied to me. My tokens and investment of 3 eth have simply been stolen by these thieves.

I KNOW they have seen this thread and their lack of willingness to reply and address these issues is even more telling. I hope they get what is coming to them...

They never did release my wallet so even the eth I invested is locked. They are thieves. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!

thnx to all of you guys i was able to see the true face of Jawad no matter how hard he tries not to show , he was my tenant for almost a year and left the flat in a horrible condition , rubbish everywhere and stinky and smelly , i even found a tooth on the bed , we agreed to meet to check him out of the flat but he dident show up for serval days nor answered his phone so i had to break in , no matter how hard i try to explain , the flat was in traumatic condition, left over food and crazy dirty fridge , even inside the drawer there were some left over big mac , it was a horrible experience , i wanted to go after him , but then i thought its not worth it , when i had a whatsapp conversation with him and told him abt the razormind he denied everything and said he was innocent and that if i want he can show me some kind of paper that proves it , and just so u know the flat is located in Egypt , but i think he left Egypt now ,

Wow the internet is closing around him no matter where in the world he runs to.

What's the ticker symbol of the token?  I want to look it up on coinmarketcap if it's there. **Edit: Is it ESW by any chance?**

Yeah its ESW

That's a sad and devastating thing to happen, I hope that you will be able to find a way to solve the problem OP because having your tokens taken as hostage is probably the worst thing that can happen to anyone especially if the token has some potential and the creators want to profit themselves when the prices go up.

If this is the sort of thing they do to people, I don't see their token ever having value.

Their token value just keeps dropping because of the crap they are doing to people. They are offering no services to anyone, just a money grab.

oh no, about this f*ckin exchange again.

I've protested this project a lot. Full of dirty and unfair efforts from their side and it has been done blatantly.

Yeah they are dirty greasy criminals. They flat out lied to me a number of times and anytime anyone has a problem they are quick to tell you to DM them rather than talk about it in the channel. If you keep talking in the channel they are quick to ban you, accusing you of FUD. IT'S NOT FUD WHEN IT'S TRUE.

They even threatened and lied and said just anything to get me to remove this post. My wallet is still locked, I won't be removing anything.

I am pretty sure none of them are smart enough to do what they say they are going to do. Scammers are never very smart... If they were they wouldn't need to scam people out of money. They were already hacked once for being stupid, just a matter of time before it happens again.

I have 2 years to file a lawsuit against the main dev. In the USA if the defendant doesn't show up for court you win by default and have a judgement against you. This would mean no more crypto conferences in the USA for him unless he wants to be arrested at the airport.
15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Emiswap holding my tokens hostage and trying to extort me on: September 07, 2021, 03:50:49 PM
How you bought this token and where are you holding still I am not getting what is happening with you. I am not well familiar with Decentralized exchange, after you bought a token shouldn't it be at your address? So how and where they are holding your token? If they could hold your token then how the platform is Decentralized? Getting hard to understand this case. This is a fucking reason to hold tokens. My token I can and should sell at any time I want. Doesn't matter what is the current price. The decentralized system doesn't work like this. This is obvious scammy behavior.

Their token contract has a blacklist and they can just add your address to prevent you from ever trading it again. I call that a scam.
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Emiswap holding my tokens hostage and trying to extort me on: August 09, 2021, 06:35:11 AM
So I tried making a second telegram account to talk to others on the dev team and they are all banning me for asking too. This is supposed to be a decentralized governance token, they should not be able to pick and choose who governs it. They should never ban any hodler from chat just because they don't like what they are saying. Aside from that I broke no rules, ever. They just want me swept under the carper. I can say with some confidence the project is a scam.
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Emiswap holding my tokens hostage and trying to extort me on: August 05, 2021, 04:44:05 AM
The emiswap mods and devs have this nasty habit of deleting their chats, good thing I save them frequently. Yesterday the head dev, "grigory rybalchenko" Said he would unlock my tokens. Today that part of our chat is deleted and he isnt responding. Also noticed his linkedin from the emiswap site is now gone. These guys know they are doing wrong. Totally greasy, everything they say is a lie and they can't say a single sentence without being a hypocrite.

I know his pics are real though, I have seen him do live video AMA.

And get this.... he claims it was "insider trading" for me to buy as soon as their token was hacked. Then the next thing he says is to let him know before I dump so he can buy the tokens.... Can you believe that? Blockchain is PUBLIC. Anybody can see the price suddenly drop... but asking me to tell him before I sell IS insider trading. What scumbags!

I am going to go file a case at the local courthouse. They probably won't show up for court, and if they don't I will win by default. They will have arrest warrants waiting for them next time they enter the USA. If they DO show up they will end up paying a lot more than I lost, so either way it's a win (and no more blockchain conferences in the USA for them).

My conversation with Cheshire Fox, their telegram mod

1 August 2021

02:50
Cheshire Fox
Hey

02:50
Let’s chat here

02:51
Me
why

02:51
i think everybody should hear this conversation

02:52
Cheshire Fox
Cause it’s your personal case

02:52
Me
people should know that you are doing this to me

02:53
Cheshire Fox
They already know and they are on the side of the project

02:53
Me
unlock my tokens

02:53
Cheshire Fox
I understand your point as a trader, but I cannot understand it from the side of the project and the community

02:54
Me
am i going to have to go file in court tomorrow?

02:54
Cheshire Fox
Nope

02:54
Why?

02:54
Me
you are singling me out for a mistake you guys made on your end i didnt do anything

02:55
and its not manipulation... not me anyway. its no more manipulation than you buying back your own token

02:55
suck it up buttercup

02:55
youre in damage control mode right now and youre not doing it very well

02:58
im angry just so you know. I dont like my money being held against my will. if i wanted that i would be trding in stocks and usd not crypto

02:59
Cheshire Fox
Dude, you used the situation of price drop to buy a lot of tokens at an extremely low price. At this moment you can easily sell everything you bought to drop the price. This will be market manipulation

02:59
Me
no it wouldnt be

03:00
it would drop the token sure but its not manipulation

03:00
if you want to buyback tokens then do it

03:00
you can consider my dump part of your buyback. mathematically the price will be the same as it was before

03:01
if i hadnt bought them you would have anyway

03:01
it all comes out the same

03:02
so yeah locking my tokens is manipulation ONE YOUR END

03:02
me selling them IS NOT MANIPULATION

03:02
you are being a hypocrite. unlock my tokens

03:02
im not going to let you gaslight me into accepting this

03:03
and im mad thats what you are doing

03:03
its an insult and I am not happy about it

03:03
Cheshire Fox
Dude, you have two options

03:03
Me
no, you have 2 options

03:03
unlock my account or i go to the courthouse tomorrow and file a suit against you from the USA

03:04
Cheshire Fox
You can sell the tokens you purchased OTC to us at the price you used to by them

03:04
Me
hah that aint happening

03:04
Cheshire Fox
In reply to this message
Wow, here’s how it going

03:04
In reply to this message
ok

03:04
Me
youre not going to hold them hostage

Is this the exchange you are talking about: https://emiswap.com/ ?
I googled the name but couldn't find anything regarding the hack. Also, I took a look at the price chart fir the last 7 days and I don't see any significant drop during this period!
https://coincodex.com/crypto/emiswap/?period=7D

However, I found this in their twitter:
The recent situation with inaccurate balances was a result of a mistake in IDO allocation. The team has bought out the tokens that entered the market by mistake.
Is this what you meant by a hack? and can you please provide more information about what happened exactly and when and provide some evidences like chat logs?

This happened yesterday. What you are referring to is inaccurate balances appearing on the site. I don't think it's related. Someone was able to mint over 5 million tokens. Emiswap claimed in their telegram channel it was because of bad oracle code. So 5 million tokens were dumped but they did a quick buyback so you can't see it in the charts (also this is happening on emiswap, so not sure emiswap prices are listed at coincodex yet). You can see the hackers wallet here, he got away with about 30 eth. https://etherscan.io/address/0x3baaad97e6c738024080521f8fd9e92e28d744f8

Anyway apparently all my tokens were locked (even thousands of dollars worth of tokens I bought in the presale) because I bought after the dump. They refuse to unlock my tokens until I sell them back for cheap. It's extortion. First I was told they would never be unlocked until I sell them back cheap.  They also threatened me and said the more I post about this the worst things will be for me, which is silly because I have nothing more to lose now and I think everyone should know what is happening there. It looks like everyone else is able to trade, but I still can't so obviously I have been singled out.

Here is what the mod said in the channel. When she said "only yours" she was referring to the fact that only my tokens are blocked. Notice how she says that then in the very next message says they don't want price manipulated. Hypocrite much?

I showed them this thread when I posted it, and they said they will look into it in 24 hours (that was about 16 hours ago and I still cant trade).  I have saved conversations with them about this. If it's not resolved I will post those too.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Emiswap holding my tokens hostage and trying to extort me on: August 01, 2021, 10:32:39 AM
Emiswap (supposedly a 'decentralized' exchange) got hacked and their token value dropped. I bought some for cheap and they have now locked my tokens saying it is "manipulation". Their channel mod says they will hold my tokens hostage until I sell them back to them for what I paid. That IS manipulation. Hypocrites trying to extort me. They also banned me from their telegram channel to sweep me under the rug (even though I broke no chat rules). Scam!!
