321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 10, 2020, 07:50:55 PM
same thing happened with my xapo wallet....i lost my account and they were not even replying to my mails...very unprofessional behaviour from them and and i lost my savings of bitcoin there....so i would also recommend the same
Very ironic. Hopefully, your experience can be a lesson for us all. Well, the safest wallet is to use a hardware wallet, especially if we store cryptocurrency in large quantities. However, if you want to use an online wallet, both for PCs and smartphones, you should use a truly secure wallet with good reviews. For BTC, use a wallet that has been verified by Bitcoin.org. The wallet in the list has been analyzed based on specified criteria.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2020, 07:24:39 PM
Stablecoins are good for crypto but I don't think that it is the future of crypto currencies.
They are good for crypto adaptation but for me it is their only use for now for crypto to be accepted as a payment method for some companies and they are good to invest in when the crypto is crashing down.
Thats true.
Alternative payment by cryptocurrency is effective if we use stable coins, low volatility and the price tends to be constant. However, as most members above explained, this is no different from using fiat payments, just different forms and methods. Whereas the principle of cryptocurrency is generally, with high volatility, high-risk investments, stable coins are not included.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help in baunty. on: April 09, 2020, 10:39:40 PM
Hello. I’m looking for free giveaways, I’m ready to follow your referral links, even go through KYC if this is a really good project. I ask you as the highest society in the world of crypto. I'm tired of those giveaways that advertise in telegrams. Ready for cooperation on an ongoing basis, the availability of free time allows. Thank you all in advance and be healthy
Don't just be money-oriented without adapting to this ecosystem, or you will only fall prey. The trend has changed, to get a good reward from the bounty campaign requires hard work. The unfavorable market situation makes it difficult for many projects to reach their targets, many are extended, postponed, even stopped, this has an impact on the bounty campaign, of course. The only thing that gives a good guarantee is a campaign that gives BTC rewards, you must have appropriate qualifications to be chosen because the rules are stricter.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: April 09, 2020, 09:54:33 PM
The popularity of the blockchain and cryptocurrency is used by some people to benefit. We know that in 2017, ICO was very popular, so many people tried their luck there. Unfortunately, the trend is changing, the market is not conducive, investor interest is declining, projects that are not well planned will fail, so that there are stops in the middle of the road without any continuity. That is a cryptocurrency, full of unexpected things. The trend is always changing, we must be able to adapt, choose safe ways to minimize risk, ICO is not effective, many scammers, except for projects that are really popular with support from trusted parties.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto get inspiration about developing Bitcoins? on: April 09, 2020, 09:47:39 PM
--
How a very simple thing could have helped discovered the Bitcoins , what are your thoughts ? Your take on what was the inspiration behind bitcoins??
Of course only Satoshi knows the exact reasons, opinions and theories are only assumptions. Well, smart people always have unique and foremost thoughts, initially considered crazy but apparently very useful. That's what makes smart people different from ordinary people.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 09, 2020, 09:20:51 PM
the only advantage of crypto if not security is the anonimity and the hassel free application but in a govt related service no as it requires more process to apply for a single thing  and most especially your privacy and datas are exposed   .
 cant imagine why people are comfortable with it  . before i see many people worship crypto saying good stuffs with it  so i dont believe that majority are still into govt related investments   . you just need to be more vigilant on here on cryptos to make your self secure or your funds safe   .
because everyone has different standards. Some like risk, some don't. Some like challenges, some don't. So for those who choose investments that are tied to the government, have a sense of security because all problems can be overcome and will be justified. Another case with crypto, because it is decentralized, all security and losses are our responsibility. Both of these models have advantages and disadvantages, don't worry, choose the one that best suits your passion, manages it maximally.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: April 09, 2020, 09:07:20 PM
How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies?

Global pandemics often cause recessions. This paralyzed the economic sector broadly, negative curves were everywhere. Most investment products also declined sharply a few weeks ago. It depends on how long this pandemic lasts, if it lasts a long time it will be the beginning of a bad crisis, hopefully it will not happen. Well, cryptocurrency has existed for 10 years, while the pandemic that caused the recession was decades before. So I think we can make a reference from the stock market, where industry activity is weakening, surely many are looking for other alternatives, and the stock market is the best alternative, as well as cryptocurrency.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 07, 2020, 11:51:07 PM
News has an effect on the whole market. Any development on cryptocurrency can influence the who market aspect, this also includes FUD which most people buy whenever there are news than a whale had moved their crypto from a wallet to an exchange or vice versa. Cryptocurrency updates, news and articles has a huge impact on the whole market.
News has an extraordinary effect. Moreover, the news is published by websites that have influence in certain fields, surely the participants will make the news as a reference. With this convenience, we can get news instantly and ontime, even from distant places, so we have to be selective, many also try to hide the truth by spreading fake news, hoaxes, and the like.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 11:47:05 PM
There is some bad rumor about USDT but it is the most used stablecoin so far with lot of volume bigger volume than bitcoin, almost available in all exchanges. I heard before that USDT was used to pump the market they just print and pump but I guess they can also dump or crashed the market or should I say manipulate the market. Some stablecoin has the ability to frozen any USDT asset it is like a centralized coin for me. But it is useful on trading In fact, I am using it but not holding it for a long time.
Because of the many bad rumors, I also only use USDT to move assets. Moreover, volatility is low, if used as an investment is less effective. Unless there is an unexpected event when the sharp decline due to the domino effect of the pandemic in all investment product markets a few weeks ago.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: April 07, 2020, 11:34:18 PM
--

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes
Very disappointing. They only give hope without certainty. In addition, they cannot provide certainty regarding important agenda or schedules, for example, token sale, listing schedule, etc. That is an indication that the dev team is not really ready to carry out the plan, very unfortunate.

I hope you haven't invested in the project before detecting all this? You don't have to invest first, you can detect how determined the team are just by asking them tough questions on telegram and expect to get blocked if the project is scam
Sometimes, the dev team acts professionally at the start of a promotion. Over time the ethics diminished, there were no updates, then came shocking announcements, delays, and slowly they disappeared.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 07, 2020, 11:28:02 PM
We are knew that most of the projects since in the 2018 upto 2020 are scam because many scammer are enter crypto to scam us and use us. They are going to use us by doimg promotinv their project and the all benefits is only to them because the bounty hunters did not earn money if the project are scam and the worst of that is the investors who invest more money .  So we need to be careful of what project we promoted and invested.
Right, scams target you. During 2018-2019 there were indeed many scam projects, it could be due to fraudsters in disguise, it could be due to poor market conditions, and the changing ICO trend. Successful projects with bounty programs are few, such as CEDEX, Content Protocol, while others delay distribution and rewards, and eventually disappear.
We must realize that trends always change. We can still get money from the bounty, but it takes patience and more effort. A good bounty at this time, in my opinion, is the weekly payment in BTC or eth, the rest we must be more prepared to be patient and accept the risk.

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 07, 2020, 11:06:35 PM
~
If you are passionate about hodling bitcoin, always convert to usdt or other stable coins and be patient for a fair entry point. Because the market isn't running away
What do you think everyone ? is there a better pattern that can be practiced?
I am open to more suggestions.
Every trader has their own strategy. Nobody wants a loss, it's just a risk. I have a friend who prefers saving profits during trading in BTC, he said: for long-term investment. He doesn't care when it dumps, he just holds, be patient, and sells it when it's up again. Of course, he didn't put all his profits there, because I also knew he had a small business.
For me, preferring to immediately take the profit into fresh money, I save in a bank account. That's a safe way, my version. Yes, everyone has their own way, we cannot force it, because surely the decision has been considered and adjusted to their needs. There is nothing wrong, with a record of understanding this ecosystem well.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 07, 2020, 11:00:16 PM
This could be one way for people to care more about maintaining health in the middle of a pandemic. But there is something that I disagree with, even if it is limited to Ava, but the use of the mask with the label n-95 can give an incorrect understanding, most people must think: having to wear an n-95 mask, besides the type of mask, it is not effective. That's a wrong understanding, in some places even have trouble getting the mask. Even though medical personnel are the ones who need it most because they have direct contact with patients. Whereas we, if we don't make direct contact, can choose to do activities at home and reduce outside contact, we can use ordinary masks, even cloth masks, as long as we pay attention to cleanliness, wash hands more frequently and physical distancing.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin current situation on: April 07, 2020, 09:44:07 PM
~
If you know bitcoin for 3-4 years you know we had many pumps/dumps even worst than this. For example, a few years ago after closing BitInstant, bitcoin stopped trading and the price fallen down like hell. some people sold their bitcoins for a real low price and lost too much money with selling too cheap. Everyone said bitcoin is over and here it is! Today you sell/buy it for 6K USD.
Sooner or later... Bitcoin price will rise and having one single bitcoin will be a dream for other people.
This is the importance of understanding what you will invest. Don't just be influenced by FOMO and investment invitations that bitcoin can bring in a profit, then you join without adapting first. That is very fatal. Moreover, the cryptocurrency market is very dynamic.

Experience and strategy are needed. Not just relying on feelings, it will increase the risk.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: April 07, 2020, 09:36:57 PM
~
I believe, in near future when the situation will be normal, I’ll buy it again since I have no doubt on the future of BTC & its use case! Please guys, stay home stay safe & don't forget to pray for us.
Good plan, friend. Your decision is right, the choice to prioritize the necessities of life rather than investing in a pandemic. It's not panic, it's the right choice. Hopefully, you and your family are fine there, we all feel the misfortune, stay healthy.

Don't forget to be thankful we still have savings, reserve funds, so we can survive in this condition. Many of our brothers and sisters out there are unlucky so they have to keep working even though this virus is threatening everywhere. The lesson for all of us, do not forget to set aside funds for savings.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 07, 2020, 09:30:39 PM
To be serious, a lot of people never knew this, they had the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin when the price decreased but they never did, instead they kept panicking and lost the opportunity. Of course I have invested in Bitcoin earlier at $6000 before the price reached $8000+ and dropped back during the pandemic.
~~~
It's not that they don't want to take a chance. For some people, this extreme price change is quite risky, even though the price is cheap, it will be cheaper. If you have a reserve fund, it is indeed the right choice to buy BTC. However, these low prices occur in the midst of a pandemic, some people choose to hold fiat as a priority to meet needs during this difficult time.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 06, 2020, 11:59:28 PM
It's best because it's already in the Coinmarketcap? There are many characteristics of a good project but if for you being in the Coinmarketcap is one then go on, it's your opinion.
Why not ask the team on why the project stopped? If your are one of the investors or even just a bounty hunter, you should have communication to the team for you know the progress of that project. If they stop without them giving reasons then that's a red flag for a scam project.
Yes, for now, even though the project has been listed on Coinmarketcap it does not mean that the project is the best project. We also know that the market situation is not very conducive for new projects, coupled with this pandemic, many projects have delayed listing, changed the roadmap, etc. It affects the bounty campaign, some delay distribution, the bounty is paused until there is a further decision.
~ I don't know why you are misunderstanding what they announced, I think you need to visit the bounty page now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228627.0.
I see, the topic of the thread [PAUSE .....] Bounty managers also include important announcements at the beginning of the thread. Looks like TS paid no attention to this
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE TEAM
💫 Hi all! inSure team hopes you are staying safe during the covid19 pandemic. Most of our community members from the different parts of the world have issues and suffering lockdowns during these unprecedented times. Unfortunately, most of them won’t have time to continue bounty work.
We also strongly believe that health is much more important right now and we should be focused on taking care of our close ones. This is why we have decided to pause all the bounty campaigns. However, we do want to continue our bounty campaigns as soon as possible and appropriate timing in the nearest future. We will make an announcement in all our social media pages once the Bounty campaign will be resumed (for now we will pause at least for one month). inSure team is determined to keep developing the project and will be announcing new business partnerships soon! Stay tuned and safe! ✅
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coin Announcements on: April 06, 2020, 11:56:06 PM
Here in the forum we are talking about posts, threads and new announcements or news about the coins and the market and it is kind of good because we are just
keep on updated anywhere and anytime. But if you want to look for easiest site then go to cryptocrunch there are some new relative news about cryptocurrency that
may help you to get updated.
True, this forum is also quite good as a reference, if the project is promoted here then dev will be easier to contact and provide the latest updates. I usually visit https://www.cryptocompare.com/ https://coinmarketcap.com/ and https://www.coingecko.com/en to see new projects. The website provides fairly complete information and important official links related to the project. This is effective to avoid phishing and fraud.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Crypto - Part 2 - Content Creation Platforms - Earn from Writing on: April 05, 2020, 11:58:23 PM
Do you use any of these platforms? and what are you thoughts on them? If you wish to sign up to any of the platforms, all the links are in the article. Thanks for the feedback.
I have only used Steemit. It's quite interesting and the community is big, it's just that I have a little difficulty when doing the editing process. There are also bots that detect auto-steem cheater, plagiarism, etc. so this makes the ecosystem fair.
Writing content is no difference from wearing a signature, it's all same delays of payment or token getting useless, bounties risks are increasing every day, you need lots of patience
Actually the OP is not discussing about bounty at all, you can still earn crypto without joining bounty on that platform. As long as your content is quality and popular, you can get rewards from the number of visits, likes, comments, etc.
Well, there is still hope right? that's why you still join bounty Smiley keep being patient
