461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: March 03, 2020, 11:30:07 PM
Games are an effective medium rather than just reading texts with similar concepts. The information to be conveyed is packaged in an interesting form, depending on the desired target, and if this is introduced early on in teens I think it can have a positive effect on their mindset on the development of the financial system of technology. This is very interesting and unique niche.
All the basic things needed to understand the cryptocurrency ecosystem are also included in the OP list.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worthy Airdrops on: March 03, 2020, 11:13:26 PM
---
Rewards too low? Yea I get it, if you can refer many friends it will worth something, it's airdrop, rewards aren't going to be big and we aren't in bullrun season yet, if you are interested go to airdropbob.com
Even for referrals if only 10 people are still not much. That is the airdrop at this time, not very valuable if not supported by many referrals. However, that does not mean all airdrops are like that, only rare. I only join airdrop legit which is often held by potential exchanges, I usually join in Upbit, you can also join the condition that you have to reach level 2 verification, and this is usually limited, first come first serve.

As for airdrops that are less promising and seem easy, I always avoid them, because they usually end up with certain conditions: for example, having to deposit a few dollars, etc., is suspicious.
At the moment I can only suggest airdrops from Origin, usually every month there are several ways you can do to get coins for free.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: March 03, 2020, 11:06:42 PM
If you look at the history of price movements in Bullrun, bitcoin prices are often pumped up by most potential altcoins. This is the most awaited moment for crypto enthusiasts to "harvest" after a long dry season. Most of the members above also have the same opinion.

Although not too significant, BTC prices are rising slowly, some altcoins are also showing the same performance. Some new coins and tokens that experience positive trends are

464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: March 03, 2020, 10:35:27 PM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now
Isn't a cryptocurrency like that? the volatility is high so the price is easy to go up and down. That is why there are indicators that you can use as instruments in analyzing price movements. Provide a systematic picture when the right time to buy and sell. So it is not only based on the price of "low rate" but also other factors that allow the trend to rise, that is what is utilized. I am not a professional in this matter, but I continue to learn, despite several losses, this requires a strong mentality.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 03, 2020, 10:30:03 PM
That's one solution, bounty that guarantees payment by escrow usually attracts greater interest. But that's actually not the final target, because even though using Escrow, there are no further steps for listing on the exchange also become in vain, right?
Overall, this drama has always had a domino effect and developers have always argued that they have the right to make cuts, delays, and lock rewards for bounty hunters in anticipation of a big dump. Oh, that's big bulls*it. If dev is worried about that, then it's best to give a BTC or ETH reward from the start, it's safer to keep the dump from the bounty hunter as expected.

The rest, as bounty hunters we must be prepared with all the risks, the worst is not paid, and our hard work ends in vain. Once again, that's a risk, friend.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways in which you can promote bitcoin. on: March 03, 2020, 09:54:34 PM
It seems like OP is a creative person who makes promotions through YouTube media, which I know makes content not easy.

And myself The last few years I promoted Bitcoin through the t-shirt media that I made.  since I produced, about 500 shirts have been sold in my country.  That way I hope that Bitcoin can be known in various places.

This cool. Promoting bitcoin through t-shirts, will definitely make people curious and ask "What is bitcoin?" after looking at that shirt. It also gives a similar value when applied to hats and other accessories. Another advantage is that this can give pride to the wearer by showing his identity as a crypto enthusiast, whether as a trader, miner, or bounty hunter, I think it can have a positive effect.
Real effective steps.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Personal Opinion: Only a matter of time until Bitcoin will surprise us again on: March 03, 2020, 09:36:29 PM
All of this means that Bitcoin will most likely always thrive in any negative scenario. Governments can confiscate your precious metals, but they cannot confiscate your Bitcoin as you can simply bury a piece of paper wallet inside a bottle under the ground and no detector will ever find it. Governments can make your fiat money worth ~$0 with only an announcement, but people will always be willing to pay a decent price for a scarce asset. Governments can warn you the banknotes may be infected with some bacteria, but Bitcoin existing only in a digital form will never come with this danger. Banks may close and seize your funds as if they were never yours, but Bitcoin is only stored and controlled by you and you can give anyone some BTC without a third party asking where that came from and why. Someone might give you an oz of gold and you'll have to trust the gold isn't fake, but you cannot receive a fake satoshi. Get it now? Bitcoin is simply a safety during hard times.
Your description of bitcoin makes me realize how much more bitcoin is compared to any valuable asset in physical form, in the real world. So I always believe that bitcoin is an evolutionary form, it takes a long time to be effective, just like natural selection.

My personal opinion is we should not panic or panic-sell. If you're in a huge need of cash, commodities should probably be somewhere on the second half, towards the end, of the list of stuff you're thinking to sell. Time will prove whether I'm right or not though, and I wish I could give the best advice ever during these times but I am not willing to take responsibility for anyone's assets, wealth or life. Therefore, this post serves as a summary of the accumulated thoughts I've been having in the recent days.. any critique is more than welcome, so feel free to contradict me Smiley
I totally agree with the contents of this thread as a whole. Many things opened my eyes and strengthened me to stay here. No need to worry, the bad season will end, this train our mentality to survive, of course, it must be balanced with strategy and analysis because the opposite can happen.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: March 03, 2020, 09:25:14 PM
A misconception is widely circulated, ordinary people often assume bitcoin is not much different from betting. I really understand this because my family considers it that way, and advised me to leave bitcoin. I try to explain as best I can, that bitcoin is not entirely just a bet, there is an analysis that must be done, so it does not entirely depend on luck, but also strategy. After that, I just smiled and focused on my choices, and showed the best of what I got here.
Betting is risky, as well as investing using bitcoin. Investing with bitcoin will be the same as betting if it is not based on analysis and strategy, buying without calculation and clear analysis basis is bad. So make a difference with analysis.

We cannot blame anyone, lack of knowledge often leads to wrong understanding, and the best thing we can do is provide better information.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 03, 2020, 09:02:53 PM
I appreciate the fact that you did some research about BTC being mentioned in movies, but why should we care about this?
I'm not interested into watching movies and Hollywood produces lots of shitty and mediocre movies nowadays.
Why not turning to another big part of the pop culture-like  rap music. Grin
Bitcoin is mentioned by a few rappers in their songs.I remember that Royce Da 5'9 mentioned it in one song.
I am interested in this comment. Well, everyone has their own interests, right? anyone likes movies, music, drama, etc. When one of the entertainment media quotes about cryptocurrency, it will definitely be interesting for crypto enthusiasts, right? That's a sign that cryptocurrency is increasingly becoming a common thing that many people know, especially Hollywood films that have many fans on an international scale.
Of course, music is good for media dissemination of information, but I say once again, everyone has their own interests Smiley Maybe for the next opportunity you can provide a list of popular songs that contain cryptocurrency elements Cheesy
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus & quarantine & effect on BTC Difficulty. How Bad/Likely? Poll! on: March 03, 2020, 08:29:13 PM
I think that it will have no effect. The virus is more of a scare than a real threat for the country.
You can check statistics here https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
Thank you for this very useful link. I suggest all of you to see this, and stop worrying too much because more people are recovering than dying from cofid 19. Hyperbole media reporting often causes panic, may worry but must be based on knowledge. Don't forget to monitor information from the official health account in your country, follow the instructions, keep it clean, wash your hands before touching areas on the face and glands, etc.

I don't think this has a direct impact on the movement of cryptocurrency. Although the trend tends to go down, there is no significant movement, do not then relate it to this outbreak, there could be other factors. Stop speculating which tends to cause anxiety.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: March 02, 2020, 11:58:17 PM
at present there are very many scam projects that have been launched with various objectives of fraud. there are those who are looking for profits from investors and there are also those who are looking for followers on various social media like YouTube, facebook, twitter, linkeddin, etc. so in my opinion dealing with this requires moderators of this forum who carry out strict verification to be able to post on the bitcointalk forum, so there are no more projects aimed at wanting to deceive bounty hunters
You are right, scammers are so good at using every opportunity to look for victims. Well, this forum is good enough to check whether the project you are going to join is a scam or not, I have used this strategy since I first joined here, I always check the Scam Accusations scam forum, some trusted and highly dedicated members in this forum by creating threads which contain suspicion of suspicious projects, with the facts found.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: March 02, 2020, 11:54:24 PM
I'm sure that those who are into crypto since last year knew that downloading new mobile wallet from play store can be dangerous, well this is for newbies who just entered crypto space this year, most top popular mobile wallets have fakes built by scammers too, before you download any wallet find its website and download through the link instead
Actually there is no problem using a mobile wallet, as long as you download it from the official link. That is why we must be selective. I use a Magnum wallet, and it's safe, I like it because it's not connected to emails that have the risk of being hacked.

Newbie is indeed an easy target for scammers, so don't be easy to trust suspicious links, always double-check before you join or use any application.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: March 02, 2020, 11:49:17 PM
Op has already shown real action to introduce cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin on his friends. That's good enough, hopefully, it can have a positive impact and provide the right education, because we know that a lot of understanding is wrong about bitcoin because of media coverage that is sometimes too hyperbole. It would be better if you work closely with influential and experienced resource persons in their fields, with the team that you have can certainly work on it.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Story time! Lost coins & Regrets - Let's bring back a little bit of nostalgia. on: March 02, 2020, 11:42:51 PM
I thought i would never have the opportunity to talk about this but now I am glad I have this opportunity to share my thoughts. I would just get down to the biggest loss ever in my life. Well, I lost about 3 BTC in alts. I had a token called MiracleTele and the token rose quite high but I still held unto my coins not willing to sell, thinking that this coin will be great in the future.
Now, this token is worth nothing as the project seems dead now.
I'm sorry for your bad experience. That is the cryptocurrency with all things unpredictable. I also experienced the same thing but did not lose as much as you, I only lost around 400 $, after investing in a project that was quite popular at the time, but ended up like miracletele.

It's okay friends, many people experience things like this, do not regret it because it will increasingly make it difficult. Better to move on and make it a lesson.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect your cryptocurrency, only means, protect your account. on: March 02, 2020, 11:35:57 PM
Nothing is really safe when dealing with the internet, there are always gaps that hackers can penetrate. The tips given by the OP are quite good, I add a few points: 1) always update your wallet software or application, 2) encrypt backup files related to your wallet, 3) password related, avoid using keywords that are related to your personal data, such as name, date of birth, etc. 4) do not use a wallet that can be reset by using a mobile number or email
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 02, 2020, 11:16:10 PM
Hackers really exist and the best to protect it is we should use the secured wallet. Never click any link that may lead on hacking your coins. As other fault that hack their assets by accidentally click phishing links on their PC. I always use hardware wallet for storing crypto through this year all my assets are safe and secured.
Hardware wallet is the best choice, lately, I also read that paper wallet is quite safe and can be an alternative choice. I do not store large amounts of cryptocurrency, so I just need to use a wallet in my gadget, I choose a trusted wallet application, and as much as possible I do not choose those connected by email, because I have had a bad experience when my email was hacked and all wallet connected with the email it's gone.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 02, 2020, 11:06:11 PM
This problem is quite subjective, depending on which side we judge it. However, as the general public, the existence of pornographic sites is felt to be a little annoying. However, if the age limit is obeyed, the negative things that are feared by parents can be avoided. Back to the topic, because porn is dominated by the personal needs of each person and tends to be kept secret, then the choice of payment using bitcoin is a very solutive thing, very helpful for those who need confidentiality. So that the use of bitcoin on porn sites can not make a bad bitcoin name, because fiat can also be used for that right? but does not have a direct impact.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: March 01, 2020, 11:44:28 PM
If the estimated loss has reached 80% it is better to just hold it.  That is one of the advantages of a strategy where you use the funds that you have specialized for trading or investing with cryptocurrency, the risk is great if you use regular funds for your daily needs.  Remember that your mentality and patience are tested when an analysis is missed.  Always prepare plan B and stop-loss strategies.  Of course, don't bet your funds on new projects that are convincing, choose ieo in Binance or Huobi if you want, or it's better to choose bitcoin or strong altcoin.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronacoin on: March 01, 2020, 11:34:59 PM
It's like a joke that exploits a booming issue.  Does this coin maker hope that this virus outbreak will continue to exist so that the coins continue to sell?  that's a bad idea, I think.  If anyone is interested it might not last long, and when the plague is resolved, the issue subsides, and over time these coins will become even more valuable.  there is no problem solving for the long term.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit bounties are getting attention and hype! BE AWARE! on: March 01, 2020, 11:28:31 PM
Ozcar most looks like a joke, with one of his team's profile pictures edited unprofessionally.  They argue that at that time the website was still under development.  Unfortunately, although there were already several members of the money providing information that the project was less promising, many ignored it, and there were still bounty participants who registered.  Come on friend ... don't waste your hard work.  do an analysis first, dwyor.
