Ok guys according to P-hub and Verge (XVG), P-hub is in a partnership with Verge. It makes sense; people want to pay for adult stuff anonymously and Verge is a privacy coin. The potential is pretty huge, because P-hub is probably one the biggest in the adult industry.
Do you think this is good development for Verge and for crypto in general?

id probably saw back in jan there were many more profitable coins to mine than xvg, also prob the xvg partnership thing drew in many miners its over now so diff may go down.
xvg devs wouldnt bother to answer this question as it should be easy to find the answer.
you may want to try other pools too as some may be luckier
Hopefully it goes down as at the moment the xvg price is not bad. Do you know of any other more profitable coins to mine? I predominantly use yiimp and zpool, which are roughly the same. I've tried other pools like miningpoolhub and suprnova, but they weren't as good as yiimp and zpool. At the moment yiimp is the best for me so far. Do you know which pool to use for a more profitable coin? depending on your hardware im currently mining ravencoins between suprnova yimmp if you stick with bigger pools then your earnings would be more stable. i tend to take a gamble with amount of pool workers and hope to get lucky. if your mining for profit then bigger pool the better im just mining to hold for a while |

Well that didn't really turned out to be good news since xvg was doing pretty fine before they announced that partnership. One look at how verge is doing now shows that many didn't approve of it though :p So many people don't even read the latest drop of verge and keep spamming by hit and run. The worst partnership ever because the majority of holders and including me was expecting big announcement to support the future adoption of verge but the fact a partnership with useless site. if you were one to believe they had something going with amazon/paypal/ebay etc then you must have been dreaming a bit early. if you thought tokenpay then they had already annouce it was not tokenpay a few days earlier. if you had thought a bank..... hahaha nothing to say. anyway imo its a great direction for a privacy coin |

It also surprised me that xvg and pornhub went on a partnership. I was hoping that xvg would choose other partner than pornhub. Anyways It seems like xvg made a wise decision, hope it would workout well in the future.
with a marketcap of 1B dont think they had much of a choice, most big companies wouldnt even bother with crypto as yet so they did get quite a big deal lets see how the cards unfold |

I still don't understand why people hated connection with porn industry (except overzealous believers). That industry is very big in NA and Europe so it can bring so many new people to cryptocurrency world..
That's because you can watch porn for free so that's why there are many of your co-fellow investors that are disappointed with the most awaited announcement. but they also have many subscribers too also brazzers dvds etc aint free. plus mass exposure front page of ph. Subscribers are expected to flow into porn sites but the thing here is that most doesn't need to pay for porn just to watch. nor do you need to pay for many other things online movies/programs/music etc yet there are still big numbers however i see this as a mass exposure. only need 1% or 0.5% of ph users to be interested and xvg would be a hit. just depends how long they stay on ph frontpage |

The sharp price decrease got me into buying a lot of Verge today. I see as positive the partnership with pornhub and very promising so I bought them.
im a bit of a gambler so like yourself i doubled up on my verge in the dip. not much to lose but much to gain if successful . im expecting either a sharp drop back to 3-4cents or a hike to the 50c range in the coming month. |

One look at how verge is doing now shows that many didn't approve of it though :p even with this dip xvg is still closer to the jan/dec hype time than most other coins people are right maybe most crypto users would pay for pornhub however its massive advertising with the amount of traffic ph has only need 1% to start buying for success. in saying that hopefully verge has limited ph from accepting other crytos if its suceeds. even for a set timeframe thats negioted. if mindgeek decides to back xvg with real $ then we have a very different scenario and a top5 would be easily reach. if they are just testing the market and pulls out then verge is dead |

Base on the chart it dump after the news came out. Pornography is a huge market but I think it is not good in terms of credibility of the coin itself. Many legit investors will avoid it. Can you imagine posting verge and telling the people it is a good coin because it has a direct partnership with pornhub? How will you tell it to a lady investors? "you ladies can earn big $$ partnering with ph?" |

For those who think verge has a bright future, let me ask you this, name one thing verge does better than Monero?
Sometimes, I hear people talk about how it's undervalued and has more potential to grow than already established privacy coins.
But to me, it doens't have that much value because it really doesn't bring any value.
Verge had been going nowhere for years and then a tweet from McAfee causes noobs to rush to it.
There is really only one king in the privacy coin market, and its Monero.
And it has tons of room to grow. Stop wasting your time with shit privacy coins and be a smart investor, not just a "investor" who hopes to hit it big with a cheap coin.

i dont see any reasons why pornhub should use verge there are bitcoin or altcoins to use out there. verge paid pornhub to use their own coin as payment method this could save verge from dying hopefully it will die soon.

the deal isnt too bad considering its a privacy coin but the way the xvg team talked about it makes it bad
if they had not hyped it up it may have been better recieved by the general public.
i agree, without hype, annoucments and and and the deal itself is not that bad IF that is the path verge wants to take being a Porn coin. There are some questionmarks of course how this will be combined with age verification and how many tube users are indeed paid members there. I think the worst thing in this deal is the marketing campaign on mindgeeks pornsites, if indeed 5+ Million Dollars are used for that than its plain stupid the fact of xvg raising for this was dissapointing to many mostly females/older generation dont think porncoin is there aim but it is a big industry with ph having many subscribers younger people will have a good laugh and maybe even support xvg |

I don't know what XVG potential is, but Twitter has a lot of tweets about Pornhub. It seems that news about a partnership is true. And Verge today makes amazing jumps on the exchange

im also watching xvg closely droped 20% in 1 hr of announcement have since rallied 15% so us trade doesnt seem to mine have to wait and see how the asian trade reacts once they wake up
to me its not bad but the xvg shouldnt have called it a partnership (unless they have something with mindgeek saying only verge will be accepted and no other cryptos)
and they shouldnt have hyped up the announcement prior and it would have been a successful announcement
considering the privacy a deal in the porn trade would be great success but if they have nothing to stop other altcoins from joining then its no deal.
ive bought in more on the big dip now time to watch how it goes
