Niggercoin is still in the waves blockchain but it wont show up on the exchange. If you want to trade that coin, you can still do it OTC. The blockchain is still trustless. They are coming up with a spam filter for airdrops since it only takes 1 waves to create a token.
Decentralized exchange does not mean its not moderated. Waves DEX is a combination of centralized gateways for clearance and blockchain for order matching. This way you get best of both worlds.
This. All tokens are on the blockchain, to remove something you need to fork (see Ethereum). Niggacoin is just hidden from the lite wallet. The dev team is still fixing the tokens overflow. Can't wait for a filter for users to hide/show the tokens. edit: I still can see "Nigga" coin on the DEX. What is this FUD thread ? |

Why the "spams" tokens aren't that bad.Let's start from the beginning... 1. Waves is a fee-marketAnyone can lease, it's easy and only require the user to hodl the coins. No coins will be ever created. It mean that the total amount of available Waves can only decrease (= peoples losing their seed). Leasing/mining is to collect fees only. 2. How fees are generated on the blockchain ?Any transaction require a fee. Creating a token require a fee. Using the DEX require a fee. Even the "spam" tokens generate some fees though the DEX or common transactions. 3. Leasing/mining rewards analysisAccording to http://dev.pywaves.org/generators/, the last 24h generated a revenue of 2BTC. A month ago it was around 1BTC. But the total amount of coins used to lease/mine didn't moved a lot (stuck to 37M). So the reward will continue to climb as the network generate more and more fees, also as the price per Waves is growing. Even spam tokens are healthy for the networks. 4. How to fight those "spam" tokens ?The issue is that peoples get lured or bored. The Waves team is working on unique asset names. It's a first step. Then, they should work on some filters on the lite client to hide/show the tokens we want or not. The fee to create a token is good and shouldn't be increased. The more tokens we have, and the more the network will be valuable. 5. ConclusionI'm happy to see Waves growing, even with the bad side of that grow. It's important for miners/leasers to have new users that use the features I shown on 2.

Bittrex just stated on their slack that MGO will not be trading for 1 to 2 weeks due it not being compatible with their infrastructure
are you serious? dev has been confirmed ready to be listed in bittrex, if bittrex is already adding it that means bittrex has been agreed. then what is the reason for the delay in the time 1-2 week? no sense Most probably this seems because they added token and after that encountered some technical issues what was told on social media. It may be due to double functionality of being at Eth and Waves at the same time. I don't know technical aspects but this is what I draw the conclusion of all this what is going on. Meanwhile, I can trade on Waves DEX already  |

Une question, quand on lease ses Waves, les token de récompenses sont t-ils diminués ? je n'ai recu que trés peu de Mercury et de Ritpu box depuis que je lease et ça m'étonne... Du coup , je me demande si ça vaut vraiment le coup le leasing....?
Les tokens comme mercury ou ripto bux ne sont pas des récompenses. Ce sont des devs qui envoyent ça en "airdrop", ou juste des gens qui t'en ont envoyé. Sinon techniquement parlant, lorsque tu lease, tes Waves restent dans ton porte-feuille. Ca ne change rien. Ok merci , par contre le leasing ne rapporte pas grand chose à coté de LISK mais ça ne coute pas grand chose non plus cela dit Ca fonctionne differement. Je suis peu informé à propos de LISK, mais sur Waves ont est sur un fee market pure et dur dans le sens ou aucun nouveau coin n'est crée. Il y aura 100M de coins à jamais. Ca veux dire que tu ne peux collecter que les fees. Ca veux aussi dire qu'à long terme le nombre total de coins ne peut que diminuer car certaines personnes vont forcement perdre leur seed. Pour l'instant ça ne rapporte pas trop, mais quand Waves prendra de la valeur et aura plus de transactions sur le reseau, l'utilisateur lambda pourra pretendre à un petit revenu convenable pour le peu qu'il y a à faire niveau mining. D'après http://dev.pywaves.org/generators/, il y a tout de même un revenue total de 2BTC qui sont tombé ses dernières 24h. Le mois dernier ont étaient à peine à 1 BTC. Sachant que le nombre de coins en mining (37M) n'a quasiment pas bougé. A cette vitesse ça va devenir interessant ! HODDDDDLLLLL !! |

Since the tokens still exist on the Waves blockchain, what's to stop somebody from building their own Waves DEX? It would obviously be separate from the official wallet but isn't the official wallet just a "client" for the DEX? Surely someone can code a DEX on Waves that has no filters. Not sure to understand the questions. On the node's config file you can setup a new genesis block among some other options to create easily your own blockchain based on Waves. So yes, with some tricks anyone could create his own DEX on his own blockchain. He doesn't mean create a new blockchain, but create a new marketplace on top of the blockchain to allow for coins to be traded that are not supported by the official DEX. As far as I understand, the trading is still decentralized, it's just the trading pairs that can be moderated. Didn't even silk road moderate certain "goods" at one point? Why should anyone trading those coins? Where do you see the value in those coins? I do not think, the devs would allowed that anyone create a new marketplace on top of the existing DEX I think by tweaking the lite wallet you can create your own market place with selected markets. But peoples will have to download it. I think it highly important to sort of moderate the tokens or assets created on WAVES DEX as there are lots of scam tokens to steal money from new innocent users. This is bad for crypto and especially for WAVES platform. I have already seen 2 to 3 fake assets trying to copy MobileGO on DEX. And 2 to 3 days back, we even had a fake Ethereum on DEX! What the hell?!? They are working on unique asset names for the new release. Should be soon. |

environ 22000 satoshis pour 1 ça me semble beaucoup vu la quantité qu'il y en a ... non ?
IOTA n'est sur Bitfinex seulement depuis 2-3 jours. Vu le nombre de coins (2.8 milliards), ça me semble beaucoup pour un debut. J'attendrai que ça se stabilise pour voir ... Ca me semble être un pari risqué par rapport aux gains potentiel. |

un p'tit malin a déversé dans mon wallet des " Ethereum | ETH | "  j'imagine qu'il veut jouer sur la confusion et penses qu'il y a des étourdis qui vont commencer à trader là d'ssus. wait & see  Je les ai reçus aussi et immédiatement renvoyés à l'expéditeur sa fait des fees pour rien mais bon. Perso je vend sur le DEX si jamais le gain est supérieur à 0.003 Waves. Parfois j'envoi un token "FUCK YOU" (ouais, j'en ai acheté un peu pour le plaisir ^^), ou "THANKS" à ceux qui m'envoyent des tokens qui rapportent. |

Le plus drôle étant que 99% -dont je fais parti- des utilisateurs de crypto ne savent toujours pas si échanger une crypto contre une autre sans convertir en fiat correspond bien à un évènement taxable. Je n'ai eu en retour de mes questions auprès de " fiscalistes " que des informations contradictoires sur le sujet.
Ce qui est très clair pour moi, c'est que dans le doute, pour l'instant je préfère privilégier la non-conversion en fiat. Je vendrai tout d'un coup.
Personne ne sait car ce n'est pas pénalisé. Pour échanger contre de l'or par exemple, je ne crois pas qu'il y ai de taxe. Non plus pour passer de l'or en argent, etc ... Par contre, dès que tu retournes en euro, la on taxe tes bénéfices. Pour moi ça ne sera jamais taxé de crypto à crypto, ca serai juste incontrolable comme pour tout autre échange. |

People, please stop buying / trading spam-tokens @ Waves DEX.
It will only attract more spam-tokens.Nothing wrong with the concept though, Waves seems to work great as a platform for businesses and start-ups. A "spam filter" is in the works Good news, I think it is really necessary to solve this problem for the future image of the reliable platform ... very annoying and destabilizing problem especially for newcomers and newbies ( and for veteran too , those different waves contract number are so troubling , resolved only partially with new releases with the blue check, the solution as in this case must really be a upstream filter of the system ....... really good news ! we are waiting for the this really great dev Platform job update ^_^ Sasha told that it will be solved in next release. Without green check mark, that is subject to pay attention risk of scam.  It's like Ripple's IOU scheme. We must pay attention as a general knowledge.  The green mark is a temporary fix to prevent users to be bait by a false token. It's a centralized fix as the dev team decide which token is good or not. On the next release the asset's name will be unique, so you can't be lured by an asset with the same name. It's a better decentralized method ! |

Beaucoup d'ignorance surtouts. Comme dire qu un participant à une Bounty pourrait recevoir 5000 USD lol ...
Lol ? Bon, prenons un exemple simple : Waves Bounties : Infos sur leur sheet ( donc vérifiable ), le plus haut a reçu style 917 Waves si j'm'abuse. Facebook, Twitter, Newsletter : 150 Waves +- total : 1060 waves Waves à 7 dollars ( prenons son max ) CQFD . wow c'est pas mal ca Miner des bitcoins en 2009 -> 50 BTC / 10 mins. Prenons le prix le plus haut : un BTC pour 2980. C'est pas mal non plus. Ou bien y a le faucet de Gavin, aussi, avec ses 5 BTC à chaque clic. Plus quelques trouzaines de shitcoins qui ont explosé récemment. Waves est loin d'être la campagne qui a rapporté le plus. Une campagne ça peut rapporter à qui sait vendre au bon moment. La plupart des gens recoltent et dump directement. Avec un peu de patience ça peut aller vraiment plus loin. Donc des "campagnes qui rapporte" c'est un peu vague au final. |
